If you’re like everyone else with four functioning brain cells, (Which lets out all liberals, they only have 2 functioning brain cells), then you know that the economy has imploded since Bumbles Dementia Biden usurped the office of President of the United States. President* Dementia is now saying “Don’t worry! We aren’t going to have a recession.”
The problem with this, besides Biden, is that most people think we’re already in a recession. Here are some of the details from Newsmax:
Earlier this week, with his administration struggling under the weight of rampant inflation, President Joe Biden tried to assuage Americans’ fears, telling The Associated Press that a recession is not an inevitability.
“First of all, it’s not inevitable,” he said about predictions America is hurtling toward recession. “Secondly, we’re in a stronger position than any nation in the world to overcome this inflation.”
That is the funniest thing I’ve heard this week. That incompetent fool not only doesn’t have a clue how to fix the mess he’s made, he refuses to accept that it’s all his fault.
But rosy predictions aside, it seems a majority of Americans don’t just think we’re headed toward economic recession. We’re already there, they say glumly.
We may not have technically hit all the marks for an “Official” recession, but the inflation rate is hitting people harder then the maladministration will acknowledge. People are starting to cut back on spending, and with all the Biden caused problems, we’re starting to see shortages for the first time since World War 2.
The public’s gloomy response comes after a series of signs indicate that Biden’s economy is in poor shape, including the May consumer price index published a week ago. According to the report, inflation rose 8.6% over the past 12 months when not seasonally adjusted.
Most people I know think that number is far to low and that it may actually be in the double digits. I just hit the supermarket and dropped $60 for some frozen and fresh vegetables, some bread, milk and orange juice. Then I hit a gas station and spent $4.74 for 6 gallons of gas. (I tend to top up the tank rather then go the usual 2-3 weeks between fill ups) Under the Greatest President of the 21st Century, that same amount would have bought enough food to take care of myself and SWMBO for a week or more, including several pounds of meat)
New home construction also slowed in April, with mortgage demand declining. Additionally, the supply chain appears to be substantially disrupted, and the stock market has entered bear territory, per The Guardian.
I believe the mortgage rate has hit between 5-6 percent for the first time in years. It’s only going to go higher. That popping sound you’re hearing is the housing bubble bursting.
Amid these concerns, Biden on Friday assured that his administration’s rampant COVID-19 spending wasn’t responsible for runaway inflation, dubbed Bidenflation by many critics.
“If it’s my fault, why is it the case in every other major industrial country in the world that inflation is higher? You ask yourself that? I’m not being a wise guy,” Biden told The Associated Press. “Someone should ask themself that question.”
Why should we? Americans tend to be a bit isolationist. We don’t care what happens in other countries unless it effects us. That is a tradition that goes back centuries. No, the issues we’re facing are all Biden’s fault, and he is trying to blame everyone else for his screw ups.
Biden has also consistently blamed the Russian invasion of Ukraine for the historically high price of gas, which, according to AAA, reached a national average of $5 per gallon Friday.
“Putin’s war is already hurting American families at the gas pump,” Biden said at a March press conference. “Since [Russian President Vladimir] Putin began his military build-up on the Ukrainian border … the price of the gas at the pump in America went up 75 cents.”
This all started long before Putin invaded the Ukraine.
“I’m going to do everything I can to minimize Putin’s price hike here at home,” he added.
And that is yet another Biden Lie. He has done everything he can to exacerbate the situation. We had some major issues at the end of 2020, and frankly, they were self inflicted. However, things were starting to turn around, and there is little doubt that if the election had not been stolen, we would not be in the mess we’re in now.
Americans don’t seem convinced by the White House’s narrative. The latest Fox News Poll released Wednesday showed Biden’s approval on the economy at only 29%, with his approval at handling inflation even lower at 23%.
The second worst president in History, Barack Obama knew just how incompetent Biden is. He selected him as his vice president to give him some cover with Congress. He quickly learned that Biden will always make the wrong choice in everything that matters. You just need to recall what Biden recommended once we found Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
The idiot wanted to call the Pakistani police and have them arrest bin Laden. Everyone else had figured out that at least some in the Pakistani government were protecting the most wanted terrorist in the world. If Biden had been in charge then, bin Laden would have escaped again. Obama was rarely correct about anything, but he made the right decision here and ignored Mr. “I am a foreign Policy Expert!” Biden and sent in the Navy SEALS.
Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better, if they get better. The midterm elections are coming up in November, and hopefully it will be the political slaughter for the Democrats they so richly deserve. I doubt it will be enough to impeach and remove Bumbles Dementia, but they will be able to make life a living hell for him. Once again, we need to remember that Obama was correct about Joe Biden and that he needed to be kept far from any real power.
