Good day all. This is a breaking story, so the 72 hour rule is in effect. Early this morning the Federal Bureau of Incompetents raided President Trump’s home, Mar-a-Lago and seized unspecified documents. President Trump was not at home at the time.
The raid caught everyone by surprise, not the least of whom are the millions of supporters of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. The search warrant has not been made public to my knowledge, but is alleged to have concerned documents that President Trump may have had the National Archives claimed as theirs. This action is totally unprecedented, and smacks of Turd World police state actions. Here are some details from Fox News:
Former President Trump on Monday said that his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida was “under siege” by a “large group” of FBI agents conducting a search warrant.
“Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” Trump said. “It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections.”
“Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before,” Trump said, alleging that the FBI agents broke into his safe.
“What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee?” he said. “Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.”
From what I have seen, the raid took place before dawn. I suspect this was done to protect the agents. The general public did not discover what had happened until after the agents had pulled out. There are now a number of Trump supporters outside of Mar-a-Lago. Here are a few details on this, again from Fox News:
Dozens of supporters of former President Trump gathered outside his Mar-a-Lago estate on Monday after it was raided by FBI agents who were allegedly looking for classified documents. Sources close to the matter told Fox News that the DOJ was investigating whether Trump had illegally taken classified documents to his private residence.
That garbage about “Classified documents” is just that, garbage. As President, Trump could declassify anything before he left office, and that includes any documents he may have had. This was nothing more then an intimidation tactic by Merrick Garland and the Bumbles Biden maladministration. It’s also, as usual, backfiring badly.
The protestors traveled to Palm Beach, Florida, after the former president released a statement about the raid. Fox News Digital’s Matt Leach spoke to several supporters who voiced their disapproval of the raid. J.D. Kennon had traveled across the state of Florida to show support for the former president.
“As soon as I saw it, I drove here from Tampa. This is nuts,” Kennon said. “We all know what you’re trying to do, DOJ. You’re trying to create some kind of charge, so he’s not going to be able to run for re-election.”
Another Trump supporter, Mike Baffumo, expressed similar misgivings about the Justice Department.
“They’re going to do anything they can to get him. They’re terrified of him,” Baffumo said. “And it’s not because of any other reason than the policies that he supports: America First policies.”
Supporters also objected to the raid happening when Trump was not on the premises – the former president was in New York City when agents executed the search warrant.
“What they’re doing to the president is wrong. They don’t investigate anything else, but they’re going to investigate him when he’s not even here in the dark in his home,” a supporter named Ashley said.
There is a reason for this. There may have only been one or two Secret Service agents on site, if there were any at all. If President Trump had been at home, There would have been a confrontation between the Secret Service agents and the FBI. They would have also been forced to show the warrant and blocked from doing the damage they did. They also would have been escorted throughout the building by the Secret Service.
While many criticized the search, at least one supporter had a positive takeaway from it.
“I think what it’s going to do is it’s going to bring the Republican Party together again,” George Ford told Fox News.
That is definitely starting to happen. With the exceptions of the doomed Never Trumpers, such as Lizard Cheney, the Republican party is furious at what happened. I also suspect there are a few, a very few, clear headed Democrats who are looking at this and asking “What the Hell were they thinking?” Another bit of information is which FBI office carried out the attack. It doesn’t look like it was the Miami field office.
An FBI source confirmed that FBI agents from Washington, D.C. who are on the bureau’s Evidence Response Team conducted the raid and notified the Miami Field Office just before.
So this came out of the Washington office? Why am I not surprised? Of course, FBI director Wray and that tyrannical weasel Merrick Garland were fully informed. I suspect they actually initiated this whole thing. As for the White House?
A White House official told Fox News it did not have any notice of the reported action and referred all additional questions to the DOJ.
Of course they knew. They’re just lying…again. They are terrified of President Trump running for reelection in 2022 and are prepared to do absolutely anything to prevent. Considering the actions of the DoJ under Garland, not to mention the hundreds of political prisoners rotting in jail in Washington D.C. without trial, access to lawyers or any form of due process, I won’t be at all surprised if they try to arrest President Trump.
That will blow up spectacularly, and without a doubt, violently. People are already seeing this as another move to institute a totalitarian state under the Democrats. They might actually be trying to provoke a reaction from the people. Something they can use as their “Reichstag” moment. Those who might be thinking this simply do not understand where this will lead.
In the mean time, the reaction to this unprecedented attack against a former president continues. In another article on Fox News a former Attorney General thinks that a line has been crossed.
Former Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker slammed the FBI for its raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, warning we’ve “crossed a line” as lingering questions over the search remain unanswered. Whitaker joined “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday to discuss why he believes the raid was a “dramatic escalation.”
While we don’t know exactly what the FBI was looking for, all indications and stories coming out of this is it’s just presidential records that were covered under the Presidential Records Act or a mishandling of confidential information… It just seems to me, as I know how these cases work, that this was a very grave situation and very heavy-handed tactics that could have otherwise been handled less publicly and more discreetly to get these documents that allegedly work. And you’re right that an affidavit would have been sworn out, would have alleged that crimes have been committed and that there was evidence at Mar-a-Lago that would support… proving those crimes… I think… we have crossed a line that I’m not sure the republic is going to appreciate long term and the American people are going to need answers to a lot of these questions.
I mentioned earlier that this raid happened before sunrise this morning, and that the agents had cleared out before people knew what was going on. If they had done this during the day, word would have gotten out quickly and I suspect that in short order hundreds, if not thousands of Trump supporters would have shown up, especially if President Trump was on site.
In that case, I would expect that a lot of those people would be armed, not as a threat to President Trump, but to protect him from the tyrannical actions of the Deep StateTM. If that happened, those agents would have been trapped in Mar-a-Lago as a best case scenario. As a worst case? They might have tried bulling their way out.
There is a lot that we do not know yet, but the anger in the country over this, as people find out, is growing. We are seeing the classic double standard in Washington. Hunter “Hoovernose” Biden, who appears to have committed multiple felonies, along with what Felonia von Pantsuit is guilty of, (Mishandling classified documents, destruction of evidence and, potentially, accessory to rape and murder), being given a pass, and those who are considered “Enemies of the Deep State” being treated as terrorists.
