Good day all. Now that the world is going all “Twitter, All the time,” thanks to Elon Musk’s release the Twitter Files, other, smaller stories that will never be covered by the Usual Suspects in the Mostly Stupid Media aren’t being seen. One of these is a violent Antifa thug who was released without bail.
This occurred in the People’s Republic of Portland, which is ground zero for the terrorist organization known as Antifa, so the No Bail release shouldn’t surprise anyone. Still, this bozo was considered to be a dangerous fugitive. Here are the details from the Post Millennial:
A Portland Antifa member who had been considered a wanted dangerous fugitive earlier in November has been arrested and released without bail.
23-year-old Jarrid Huber was arrested on November 30, for a litany of charges including felonious criminal mischief, arson, and rioting stemming from a May 25, 2021 incident. He was released that day without bail.
People don’t like to think we have a rigged judicial system, but when the left is involved, we certainly do. Right now, we have people locked up in Washington D.C. without trial who were involved in the January 6th protest. Many have been denied a lawyer and have yet to see a judge. They are classic examples of political prisoners, and yet this thug, who appears to be an arsonist among other accusations is walking around free.
Leading up to his arrest, Huber had been labeled a dangerous wanted fugitive by police, going on the run for weeks after allegedly violating his pretrial release conditions by returning to rioting. On November 13, Portland Police stated that Huber had failed to turn himself in to law enforcement as required, and a felony warrant for his arrest was subsequently issued.
Huber is a real piece of Communist work.
Huber had been arrested on November 9 for disorderly conduct in the second degree and interfering with a peace officer in relation to the night of Election Day.
Interfering in this case probably means throwing a punch, and probably would have gotten the punk a good tazing. However, this is Portland and he is a known Antifa terrorist, so they probably wrote him a ticket.
On Hubber’s since-suspended Twitter account, he advocated for violent riots, notably in the wake of the verdict day in the case of Kyle Rittenhouse, and when a leak revealed that the Supreme Court would be overturning Roe v Wade.
I doubt this jughead was considering what the Rittenhouse acquittal meant. As a refresher, Kyle Rittenhouse was armed with a rifle and was helping local business owners protect their property from the likes of Huber. He was separated from his group, and was looking for a way to get back to them when he was attacked by the local thugs.
Rittenhouse ran and tried to get away, but was chased down. Rittenhouse tripped and was clubbed by a thug with the edge of a skateboard, and another tried to yank his rifle from him. A third pulled a pistol. Fearing for his life, Kyle Rittenhouse fired. He blew away two of the thugs and nearly took the arm off the one with the gun.
The whole incident is considered one of the best filmed cases of self defense ever, yet a politically motivated prosecutor charged Kyle Rittenhouse with murder. The jury looked at what actually happened and acquitted him. The local D.A. and Prosecutor have been roundly condemned for trying to railroad Mr. Rittenhouse into prison.
Now as to why I said that the jughead wasn’t thinking about what the decision meant, it’s simple. People were going to use whatever force was needed to defend themselves and their property from the likes of Jarrid Huber, up to and including ending his worthless existence.
“Huber and his associates were preparing for a direct-action event and allegedly pushed multiple large dumpsters into the street on Southwest Park Avenue,” the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said.
Direct Action is another term for violent attack.
The office said that Huber and others were allegedly dressed in black bloc and blocked the roadway near an election night event.
“A Portland Police Bureau officer approached the group in his vehicle after observing the traffic obstruction. The group then allegedly pushed the dumpsters behind the officer’s vehicle, blocking the street behind it. The officer exited his vehicle and commanded the group to stop, to which they questioned ‘why’ and began to walk away. He ordered that they stop again, and they subsequently began to run. Other officers arrived at the scene and effectuated an arrest,” the office said.
According to The Post Millennial editor-at-large Andy Ngo, Huber had been targeting the office of Rene Gonzales, who won his election for a seat of the city council over the far-left incumbent Jo Ann Hardesty.
I did a quick search for Gonzales. He’s also a Democrat. Apparently, he’s not an out and out Communazi who was actively aiding criminals and worked to gut the Portland police department. Gonzales, on the other hand, supports law and order, so I can see why Huber wanted to go after him.
This arrest marked Huber’s third related to Antifa rioting over a span of three years. According to Ngo, “The 23-year-old self-identified journalist uses Twitter to organize and promote riots, and has open cases for multiple felonies related to arson and rioting last year.”
Huber was also charged with attempt to commit a class c/unclassified felony, harassment, and disorderly conduct in the second degree on April 28 and 29, 2021, according to Oregon Judicial Department records.
I’m not a lawyer and certainly don’t know the laws of Oregon, but it seems to me that this bozo is looking at some serious time in prison if he is convicted. I can see why he wouldn’t turn himself in. He also threatened the mayor, Ted Wheeler.
Huber, a far-left journalist, was also behind the account that posted a video threatening Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler in 2021, displaying the official’s home address.
Oh goodie. The moron doxxed the mayor, and it gets better.
“We are not just challenging the idea of having Ted as a mayor. We are challenging the idea of having mayors at all. We want abolition. Abolition is absolute,” the masked person in the video, who had their voice masked, stated.
The narrator rejected peaceful protests and voting, stating that violence is needed when “those in power have proven they are unwilling to listen and have made the choice to ignore you.“
I’m assuming that they wanted Wheeler to basically let the thugs of Antifa run rampant and make themselves the new government. Elections? Why bother with those?
“Ted, we are asking for the last time that you resign. If you ignore this message outright, the destruction to your precious way of life is going to escalate. Blood is already on your hands, Ted. And next time it may just be your own.”
Considering the history of Antifa, this is a credible threat of violence and can be considered an act of terrorism. Huber denied having anything to do with the video, other than sharing it. Considering is past history, excuse me if I don’t actually believe you.
In response to the threatening video, the Portland Police Bureau opened an investigation, with the FBI assisting.
Yeah I wouldn’t count on the FBI for much these days. Still, this begs the question and the story doesn’t provide any details on one very important question. How did this known flight risk not have to come up with bail? Was it at the request of the District Attorney? Is the Judge a complete idiot? In any case, are there any bets on whether or not this pile of pig manure actually shows up for his next court appearance?
