Good day all. During the 2016 election and his time in the White House, the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, would drive his political opponents insane with his bypassing the MSM gatekeepers and sending out messages to the people directly, usually with Twitter.
Without question, President Trump would say something he probably shouldn’t, but that was one of the reasons the Ultra MAGA Deplorables supported him. He didn’t hold back. He would also tweet something that the Leftists would go bonkers over, and while they were attacking President Trump for that, he would be busy doing something else that was designed to Make America Great Again, knowing that the Progressive idiots would miss it because…they’re idiots.
When Elon Must took over Twitter, he promised to start restoring all the conservative accounts that the Twitlers had banned, including President Trump. Now, not only has Elon Musk restored President Trump’s account, Facebook is doing the same for all their properties. This is driving the usual suspects on the Left insane with rage yet again. Here are the details from Fox News:
Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse on Monday are demanding answers from Meta on the social media giant’s decision to reinstate former President Donald Trump to Facebook and Instagram, slamming the move as “inexplicable.”
Meta, last week, announced it would end Trump’s suspension across its platforms, which began after the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021. In a blog post, Nick Clegg, president of global affairs at Meta, said Trump’s suspension would be lifted “in the coming weeks.”
There are a few reasons for this, one of which is that people know that President Trump had nothing to do with the riot and had tried to get sufficient resources in place beforehand, only to be blocked by San Fran Nan Pelosi and Washington D.C. Mayor Bow Wow.
Of course, the Woke Trump haters in Washington, Twitter and Faceplant, (Now called Meta) took this as the chance to silence their most hated enemy.
Then came Elon Musk and his takeover of Twitter. Once he got in there, he saw just how bad things were, and started telling the world through the Twitter Files. Now Socialist Media has started restoring President Trump. This isn’t going over well with certain members of congress either.
But Schiff, D-Calif., and Whitehouse, D-R.I., are slamming Meta for its decision, saying the former president should not be reinstated.
“Based on Meta’s previous statements on standards for allowing Trump back on the platform, his account should not have been reinstated,” Schiff and Whitehouse wrote in a letter to Clegg Monday, claiming that Trump has “continued to post harmful election content on Truth Social that would likely violate Facebook’s policies, and we have every reason to believe he will bring similar conspiratorial rhetoric back to Facebook, too.”
They added: “How Facebook could reinstate his account, given all the additional content on Truth Social that would likely have resulted in a brand-new suspension if it were on your platform, is inexplicable.”
I think I see the problem(s) here. First, Schiffhead and Outhouse hate President Trump. Second, they hate his supporters. Third, they hate the 1st Amendment’s right to speak freely. Fourth, they’re both pond scum.
As for Truth Social, this is the Twitter alternate that President Trump set up and it’s growing like gangbusters. It’s taking in all the refugees from Twitter that the ‘Old Regime” banned for that the Twitlers disapproved of.
At the time that President Trump and others began building Truth Social, no one knew that the morons running Twitter would finally do something that would get someone like Elon Musk to come in with a load of cash, buy out the whole shebang and then fire pretty much everyone. Now Musk and his new team are busily restoring all the accounts that the Twitter 1.0 regime had shut down for “Wongspeak.” However, with Truth Social, all the people booted from Twitter now have a new home and many, including President Trump, aren’t in a rush to come back.
Schiff and Whitehouse also asked Meta to provide a briefing on the company’s efforts to “uphold election integrity and not allow their platform to be used to spread conspiracy theories and election lies.”
Oh that’s amusing, considering the possible criminal actions Zuckerberg is alleged to have indulged in with regards to “Zuck Bucks” in the 2020 election. That little turd may have violated so many election laws that it’s not funny. Then we have the two morons, Schiffhead and Outhouse and their complete contempt for the 1st Amendment.
“[W]e believe that part of Meta’s commitment to election integrity should be ensuring that those who maintain the unfounded, dangerous narrative of the 2020 election are not allowed or encouraged to spread the lie in any form,” they wrote.
“It is not clear in this decision where Meta will draw the line ‘between content that is harmful and should be removed, and content that, however distasteful or inaccurate, is part of the rough and tumble of life in a free society’ and we would greatly appreciate further clarity on this matter.”
If I were in charge, my response to these two slime balls would be “Go pound sand.” Faceplant’s president of global affairs Nick Clegg replied with a nice hustle shuffle regarding the demands of these two Fascist piles of worm droppings. The problem for them is that they’re losing control. Schiffhead is rapidly becoming persona non grata inside the Beltway, not that he’s been booted from his committee assignments, and Sheldon Outhouse is a loudmouthed bully that few have ever heard of.
First they lost Twitter, which was bad enough in the minds of the Woke Moonbats. Then Elon Musk demonstrated that the United States Government had actively engaged in a massive attack on the 1st Amendment rights of thousands of Americans. Facebook was also involved, and now they’re beginning to run scared.
The lawsuits haven’t started yet, but I expect them any time now. If it’s a choice of minimizing the economic damage or continuing to aid and abet the suppression of free speech, Facebook’s choice is clear. It boils down to “Thank you for your opinion. Have a nice day! Oh, by the way, don’t call us, we’ll call you.” It’s going to be interesting when the House hearings kick off.
