Good day all. Elon Musk and the Twitter files have shown America just how extensive the contacts between Social Media and the various government agencies was. The FBI and the DoJ were actively working to suppress anyone who posted about Hovernose Biden’s laptop and the apparent corruption of his father, Joe Biden.
The Twitter Files have continued with more and more information coming out on just how extensive the operations were to flat out suppress the 1st Amendment rights of the American people. As Elon Musk said, “All the conspiracy theories are true.” and he would know. Now we have information that the State Department was also working to suppress anything that made Dementia Joe Biden look bad. Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
Watchdog groups have raised concerns over the State Department bankrolling a “disinformation” tracking group that is secretly blacklisting and trying to defund conservative media outlets.
The Washington Examiner revealed on Thursday that the Global Disinformation Index, a British organization with two affiliated U.S. nonprofit groups, is hauling in cash with the intent of defunding and shutting down disfavored speech. Now, several watchdogs are calling out the State Department for funding this group, which is feeding its blacklist to major ad companies.
“Nothing is more Soviet than using federal government funding to control speech by choking an independent press,” Adam Andrzejewski, CEO of OpenTheBooks, a taxpayer watchdog, told the Washington Examiner. “The federal government is continuing to put its own thumb on the scale to green-light or red-light content in the marketplace of ideas. Using third-party intermediaries to do the dirty work isn’t fooling anyone.”
I am of the opinion that there is no way to fix the bureaucracy, it has to be destroyed. Take the State Department…PLEASE! The fools, progressives and other assorted “Professional Diplomats” have never been ones to consider the interests of the United States as a priority. In far to many cases, they have pushed a Globalist/United Nations agenda that was a direct threat to the United States.
When President Trump came in, his first choice as Secretary of State, Rex Tilman came in and took a chainsaw to the place. Many of the personnel enraged that their preferred choice for President, Felonia von Pantsuit, had lost to President Trump, quit in a huff. Most of the positions were never filled, and no one seemed to notice any diminution of services.
Tilman didn’t last and Mike Pompeo came in and did an excellent job as Secretary of State, with many successful diplomatic missions that actually brought peace to places that haven’t seen any in decades. The Abraham Accords alone should have gotten him a Nobel Prize, but then he worked for President Trump and the Nobel Committee is made up of morons.
When the current incompetent came in, Antony Blinken, things in the State Department appear to have returned to their usual levels of treason and incompetence. This is where the move to suppress the Constitutional rights of American Citizens by the State Department began.
GDI compiles a “dynamic exclusion list” that is said to have at least 2,000 websites on it. The Washington Examiner learned that it is on this list and a source in the ad industry said Breitbart News is on it.

The disinformation group’s efforts are likely costing news companies vital advertising dollars. GDI, which is led by Clare Melford, former senior vice president for MTV Networks, and Daniel Rogers, says the 10 “riskiest” and “worst” offenders for peddling disinformation are the American Spectator, Newsmax, the Federalist, the American Conservative, One America News, the Blaze, the Daily Wire, RealClearPolitics, Reason, and the New York Post.
Well, it sounds to me that these organizations need to unleash the Lawyers of War on this Global Disinformation Index and the people who run it. They might not be able to get the British office, but the people who are Americans and the offices in the United States? Additionally, going after the State Department for flat out violation of the Constitutional rights of the organizations and the people working there should also be considered.

One advertising company that subscribes to this blacklist is Xandr, a group under Microsoft. Xandr has flagged dozens of conservative websites as “false/misleading,” “hate speech,” or “reprehensible/offensive,” according to data leaked to the Washington Examiner and whistleblowers.
Microsoft has been far more low key in their political activities since Gates and Ballmer left the company. One reason was nearly being destroyed by an activist judge back in the 90’s. They also learned from Goolag, Faceplant and Twitter 1.0 that getting “In the face” of people paints a target on them. Well Microsoft, congratulations. It looks like you may have painted a target on yourselves now.
However, GDI has received $330,000 combined from entities under the State Department, which led to First Amendment lawyers and members of Congress raising concerns over how this could be legal.
“I’m a proud conservative and an unashamed advocate for the free market and these documents put to rest the idea that Big Tech’s behavior should not be investigated by Republicans because they are private companies,” Tom Jones, president of the American Accountability Foundation, told the Washington Examiner. “American companies gave up the right to be left alone when they got in bed with the federal government. I hope these and other revelations are part of a deep and probing investigation by the United States Congress.”
It’s one thing to take money from private entities, it’s quite another to take it from a government agency. This make you an “Agent for the Government” and as such, you are bound by the 1st Amendment. As for the State Department? Cut off most of their funding and start slashing payroll.
The State Department’s ties to GDI, or any other groups that participate in the blacklisting of media outlets in the United States, could place the agency in legal trouble, according to lawyers.

“The GEC in no way moderates content on social media platforms; that is not its mission or its intent,” a spokesperson for the State Department told the Washington Examiner. “The role of the GEC is to identify foreign state and nonstate disinformation narratives, trends, and techniques aimed at undermining or influencing the policies, security, or stability of the United States, U.S. allies, and partner nations.”
Nice try dumbass, but the Twitter Files has shown that the progressive elements of the Federal Bureaucracy, (In other words, just about all of them), wanted President Trump gone and his supporters silenced. If they could get the DoJ and FBI to arrest, or better yet, kill the Deplorable Ultra MAGA Republicans, so much the better.
I started working on this post when I saw the first story about the State Department and GDI working to shut down any opinion that went against the leftist narratives. I mentioned that Microsoft was one of the companies, through an affiliate, Xnder, (Which I know nothing about), that had been using GDI to base their decisions on ad purchases. Microsoft has now started to disassociate themselves from GDI. Here are those details from The Washington Examiner:
Microsoft has removed negative flags for conservative media outlets that have blocked them from reaping key advertising dollars amid the corporation launching an internal review and suspending its subscription to a “disinformation” tracking group’s blacklist used to “defund” disfavored speech, according to internal data obtained by the Washington Examiner.
The Microsoft-owned Xandr, a major advertising company, previously abided by a secret blacklist of conservative news compiled by the Global Disinformation Index, a British organization with two affiliated U.S. nonprofit groups. Now, as Microsoft appears to be taking steps to distance itself from GDI , the company has, for the time being, deleted flags such as “false/misleading” and “reprehensible/offensive” for right-leaning websites, data show.
“I just checked in Xandr’s platform again and can confirm that all rejection flags have been removed from domains,” a senior executive in the ad industry, who was granted anonymity to speak candidly, told the Washington Examiner.
One thing about Microsoft, they definitely learned their lesson from the issues they had in the 90’s. They were nearly destroyed by an activist judge, (Who had his head handed to him by the appeals courts as I recall), and had to deal with the EU’s tyranny regarding Internet Explorer. They also made hundreds of millions of Office users ecstatic when they removed the hated office assistant, Clippy from the Office application.
Xandr had labeled 39 conservative domains as, overwhelmingly, “false/misleading,” the Washington Examiner reported on Friday. Townhall, a website under a Christian publisher called Salem Media Group, was flagged as “reprehensible/offensive.”
Some websites that were flagged prior as “false/misleading” were the Washington Examiner, the Daily Wire, RealClearPolitics, Drudge Report, Newsmax, Breitbart, the Blaze, the Washington Times, Judicial Watch, and MRC.TV, which is under the Media Research Center.
First, I’m surprised that the Drudge Report was on the list. As far as anyone knows, Drudge is no longer associated with the site, and it’s gone all Woke and Progressive. Their page views have cratered as people who used to read Drudge daily, (and this includes myself), moved over to the Bongino Report. Other then the Drudge Report’s questionable addition to the list, every single one of the others is considered a news site with a conservative bent to it. They also have a “10 least risky sites.” Care to guess who they consider to be the “Least Risky?”
GDI has claimed that the 10 “least risky” websites are NPR, ProPublica, the Associated Press, Insider, the New York Times, USA Today, the Washington Post, Buzzfeed News, HuffPost, and the Wall Street Journal, according to a 27-page report.
So, Microsoft, which appears to pay attention to what’s happening in Congress, saw this whole thing blowing up and once again did a full 180 degree turn. I do expect them to end up in front of a House committee, but this will go a long way to keeping their feet out of the fire. As for the State Department? They need to be set on fire, bulldozed and salt poured on the ground so nothing will ever grow there again…virtually speaking.
As for GDI? It is British based, so I don’t know what we can do about them, short of launching a cruise missile into their offices, and I think the British Government might object to that. The affected parties should go after their United States offices and sue them into oblivion for damages they caused. At the very least GDI needs to be fully and completely discredited and any businesses that use them asked to walk away from them. If they refuse? BOYCOTT!
