Kalifornistan legislature supports Human trafficking and slavery

Good day all. Once again, the Progressive Liberal Democrats of the People’s Republic of Kalifornistan have shown there true colors. With all the talk of human trafficking, which is just slavery under another name, the State Legislature shot down a bill to punish traffickers in a meaningful way.

The success of the small independent film, The Sound of Freedom, has set off the progressives. I wrote about that the other day. One of the biggest problems with the insecure border is, to be blunt, all the children being smuggled into the United States who then disappear. Very few of these children are being reunited with family members.

States are now taking things into their own hands, since it appears that the Biden Maladministration appears to be actively involved in the child slave trade. (How else do you explain ICE “Losing track” of 85,000 children?) One state that seemed to be about to do the right thing, for once, was Kalifornistan. There was a bill to ramp up the penalties for human trafficking. However, the Progressives quickly reverted to type and killed the bill. Here are the details from Fox News:

The California Assembly committee on public safety blocked a bill that would increase the charges for human trafficking.

The Golden State lower house committee considered Senate Bill 14, which would make the human trafficking of children a “serious felony.” Serious felony charges under California law currently include murder, rape, and any other crime which may incur the death penalty or life sentence in state prison.

However, instead of upping the ante on child traffickers, the California Assembly Public Safety Committee nuked the measure on Tuesday.

The story doesn’t provide any reasons the committee killed the bill. The vote was along party lines with the Democrats all showing that their goal is to re-institute slavery in America. (They’ve been angry since they lost their slaves in 1865 after the Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, beat them into submission) As you might expect, most of the normal people were not to happy about this turn of events.

“Horrible!” someone yelled as victims sobbed at the dais.

“You know you’re on the wrong side of an issue when you deliver a win for human traffickers. Democrats on the Public Safety Committee proved they have no intention of protecting the lives of Californians, let alone protecting innocent children from the horrors of human trafficking,” California GOP chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson said.

“What we saw today from California Democrats was heartless and disgusting,” Patterson continued.

“Once again, Democrats are looking out for the most vicious criminals at the expense of victims,”

California Assembly Republican leader James Gallagher said.

“Any normal person would tell you that human trafficking a minor is a serious crime, but Democrats would rather enable these monsters than hold them accountable,” Gallagher added.

Those are their natural constituents after all. One of the primary “Secret” planks of the Democrat Party is to aid and abet criminals. I suspect the reason is simple. They’re all silent partners in the various cartels.

According to local news, no Democrats on the committee voted for the bill. Both Republican assemblymen — Assemblyman Tom Lackey — voted yes on the bill. The GOP vice chair of the committee, Assemblyman Juan Alanis, stepped out of the committee room to tend to other business but returned to vote on the measure.

Apparently the bill passed the Kalifornistan State Senate unanimously in May and was sent to the House for consideration. This is where it was murdered by the Progressive Liberal Groomers. The reaction by Parents and normal people may have caught some of the Democrats off guard. One of them has is now saying she made a mistake. Here are those details from Fox News:

A Democratic member of the California Assembly’s Public Safety Committee admitted to making a “bad decision” on a bill that would have increased penalties for human trafficking.

“On Tuesday, I made a bad decision. Voting against legislation targeting really bad people who traffic children was wrong. I regret doing that and I am going to help get this important legislation passed into law,” Assembly member Liz Ortega wrote in a tweet.

Prior to her admission about the action she took earlier this week, Ortega had suggested that lifelong sentences for those who traffic children would not put an end to the child trafficking problem that has plagued the country.

“I’m struggling with how do we support you with mental health access, with housing, with education, with good jobs, because it’s part of a holistic approach,” she said, according to the Washington Free Beacon. “Sending someone to prison for the rest of their lives is not going to fix the harm moving forward. And that’s the part I’m struggling with. It’s a complex issue.”

How about summary execution? Better still, execution by crucifixion. I think that might dissuade slavers. Now as to why Ortega suddenly changed her mind? I suspect she heard rumors that parents and other normal people were buying quantities of tar, feathers and a length of rope. People have had it with the Woke Progressives and their direct assault against their children and, frankly, aren’t going to put up with it any longer.

As much as I hate to say it, this might be the one thing that triggers “Bad times.” Healthy normal people will protect children. You will even see older children protecting younger children when they perceive something dangerous. Kalifornistan is already trying to strip children from their parents so they can mutilate them. If they don’t think this will lead to a bloody, violent reaction, they need to put down the crack pipes, sober up and take a look around. If, because of their actions, bad things start, they won’t be able to count on the police. They’re parents too.

Some movie theaters are sabotaging the Movie (Sound of Freedom) by not selling tickets to customers using lame excuses like the AC isn’t working, etc.

    • I’ve seen that, and yet SoF is still holding it’s own. They’re just shy of $100 million dollars. It will be interesting to see how they do with DVD sales and streaming. They’ve made their money back in spades.
