Good day all. Thanks to the House Republicans, the criminal activities of the Biden Family have become so obvious that the Democrat Propaganda Corps is having problems burying the evidence. Now Garland has moved to “Plan B” to protect the Bidens. He’s appointed a “Special Counsel” to investigate Hoovernose Biden.

The collapse of the “Sweetheart Deal,” thanks to a judge who sat down and read the agreement and went “WTF is all this? When she started asking some very pointed questions, the defense team withdrew from the agreement and the First Junkie, Hoovernose Biden, pled Not Guilty.
Then came the Devon Archer testimony and the attempt by the Garland DoJ to jail Archer before he could testify to Congress. (Archer was convicted of a crime not related to the Bidens) Archer’s testimony showed that Joe Biden was fully involved with Hoovernose’s business dealings. Now the House committees have found $20 million dollars in questionable foreign payments to the Bidens.
At this point, any honest Attorney General would bring in an outside investigator to dig into the Biden’s activities. Yesterday, (Friday, August 11th), Meritless Garland did just that…sort of. He has appointed U.S. Attorney David Weiss as a “Special Counsel” to look into the Bidens. Here are some of the details from Fox News:
Attorney General Merrick Garland on Friday appointed U.S. Attorney David Weiss a special counsel in the Hunter Biden probe, as well as any other matters that arose or may arise from that investigation.
“I’m here today to announce the appointment of David Weiss as a special counsel consistent with the Department of Justice regulations governing such matters. In keeping with those regulations, I have today notified the designated members of each House of Congress of the appointment,” Garland said at a press conference in Washington, D.C.

Just to refresh your memories, David Weiss is the U.S. Attorney who slow walked the investigation and allowed the Statute of Limitations on the First Junkie’s tax problems to expire. He’s also the one that cooked up the sweetheart deal that would have prevented the Fist Junkie from being charged with pretty much any crimes tied into the alleged bribery scheme that the House committees are looking into.
Weiss is the federal prosecutor who has investigated the business dealings of Hunter Biden and brought charges against him in Delaware. His appointment as special counsel indicates that, contrary to Hunter’s defense lawyers’ claims, the Justice Department investigation into President Biden’s son is not over.

The investigation, if you want to call it that, has been going on for years with no real movement. When the Republicans took control of the House of Representatives, things started moving. This culminated in the infamous “Sweetheart Deal” that Judge Noreika took one look at and tore into the prosecutors over. Garland’s appointment of Weiss as a special counsel, to put it bluntly, stinks to high heaven.
Needless to say, I’m not the only one who’s looking at this and thinking that this is just another attempt by Merrick Garland to cover up the Biden’s criminal activities. Here are those details from Fox News:
Republican lawmakers sounded off after Attorney General Merrick Garland on Friday appointed a special counsel for the probe into first son Hunter Biden. High-ranking GOP lawmakers torched Garland’s appointment of U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who led the prosecution in Hunter Biden’s tax and gun charges, to head up the special counsel probe.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., called Garland’s announcement “part of the Justice Department’s efforts to attempt a Biden family coverup in light of [House Oversight Republicans’] mounting evidence of President Biden’s role in his family’s schemes selling ‘the brand’ for millions of dollars to foreign nationals.”
Oh I like that term, “The Brand.” Is that a new way of “soliciting/extorting bribes and using your office to benefit those who bribed you?
“The Justice Department’s misconduct and politicization in the Biden criminal investigation already allowed the statute of limitations to run with respect to egregious felonies committed by Hunter Biden,” Comer continued. “Justice Department officials refused to follow evidence that could have led to Joe Biden, tipped off the Biden transition team and Hunter Biden’s lawyers about planned interviews and searches and attempted to sneakily place Hunter Biden on the path to a sweetheart plea deal.”
Comer said Garland’s “move is really about” the DOJ “trying to stonewall congressional oversight as we have presented evidence to the American people about the Biden family’s corruption.”
Speaker of the House Charlie Kevin McCarthy also chimed in, for what it’s worth.
“This action by Biden’s DOJ cannot be used to obstruct congressional investigations or whitewash the Biden family corruption,” House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., tweeted Friday.
“If Weiss negotiated the sweetheart deal that couldn’t get approved, how can he be trusted as a Special Counsel?” McCarthy added. “House Republicans will continue to pursue the facts for the American people.”
Other Republican members of the House of Representatives also let fly at Garland and the DoJ. On the Senate side, the only Republican I could find who made any comments was Lindsey Graham. According to NBC News:
Sen. Lindsey Graham, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, appeared on Fox News and said that he doesn’t “trust” Weiss and his team to “fairly investigate” the Bidens, adding that by appointing a special counsel “they’re trying to make it harder” for Congress to investigate.
“What they tried to do is give Hunter Biden a deal that no other American would get, the judge asked hard questions, the plea agreement blew up. And to think that the very guy who wrote the plea agreement is seriously going to continue to investigate the Bidens is laughable” Graham, R-S.C., said. “Who in their right mind believes that changing the title of what you call Mr. Weiss solves all the problems associated with Mr. Weiss? Nobody.”

From the rest of the GOP contingent in the Senate? As of this posting, not one word. I certainly don’t expect anything from Biden’s Bestest Buddy, Cocaine Mitch McConnell. He’s already said he doesn’t want to impeach and remove Joe Biden. (I have a post ready to go on that, but obviously, this comes first)

Without question, Weiss will do his usual nothing with regards to the Bidens. He has been actively working to bury the evidence and the sweetheart deal he cooked up with the defense team, if it had ended up in front of an Obama or Biden judge, would have all but ended any hopes of cleaning out the manure in the Oval Office. With this appointment, if it is allowed to stand, we can look forward to a whole lot of nothing being done.
An aside here. One of the charges brought against the First Junkie was a gun charge. His was going to be swept under the carpet under the sweetheart deal. A court has just ruled that the law that would have been used to “Get Hunter” is unconstitutional. I think it’s safe to say that Weiss and his crew of cover-up specialists will drop that charge in fairly short order, citing that decision.
My next thought is what happens if/when the next Republican president takes office, probably in 2024? Considering the disgrace of the Justice Department, there is going to need to be a general house cleaning with wholesale firings. I would also like to think that the next A.G. will look at David Weiss and his office and have a grand jury impaneled with the goal of indicting him on obstruction of justice charges. Will that happen? If you want to restore the DoJ, then it would have to happen. I’m not going to be holding my breath though.
I can hope that the House oversight committees flat out rip the corrupt Merrick Garland many new ones and actually go forward with impeaching him. The Democrats in the Senate, along with the RINO’s will, of course, protect Garland and not remove him. Fine. The next A.G. can charge him as well and he and Weiss can share a cell in a federal prison.
