Good day all. The New York Slimes has long stated that they publish “All the news that’s fit to print.” Of late that has come to mean that they will decide what you will be permitted to know. Over the last 5-10 years, the Slimes has thrown away all the credibility they had built up over the last 160 years.
With the election of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, the Slimes went fully into being nothing more than a fake news propaganda rag for the Democrat Party. Now yet another shoe has dropped. Elon Musk has pulled the Slimes Verification badge. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:
In the wake of The New York Times’ false reporting , claiming the Israel Defense Forces bombed a hospital in Gaza, a report which was later totally debunked, X, formerly known as Twitter, removed the Times’ verification badge.
The story about the hospital being bombed by Israel was proven to be a flat out lie very quickly. However, the New York Slimes, which, of late, has never let the truth get in the way of their propaganda, basically printed the Hamas claims with no verification whatsoever. This appears to be the straw that broke camel’s back.
The Times ran an article on October 17 that trumpeted, “Israeli Strike Kills Hundreds in Hospital, Palestinians Say.” The New York Times and CNN were also caught using images from different incidents that showed buildings that had been completely destroyed.
The Slimes, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and other antisemitic Hitler loving neo-nazis all took it as gospel that Israel had blown up a hospital and killed 500 people. The story began falling apart in minutes when people started questioning how the Palestinians were able to provide the casualty numbers within minutes of the incident happening. Then actual pictures from the scene started coming out.
Footage from ground level showed that none of the buildings were destroyed and that there were no impact craters from an aerial bomb.
The Israeli Airforce are dropping JDAMS and Laser Guided Bombs. These generally come in at the 500lbs or bigger level and when they go off, they leave a very big hole. They also will blast apart walls and buildings. Israel has been releasing footage of these weapons being used on multi-story buildings, and they have simply pancaked like the World Trade Center. (Usually after a huge secondary explosion blows out the structural supports)
Now in the case of the Hamas own goal, they appear to have hit the parking lot with a Qassam rocket. These aren’t much more sophisticated then the model rockets hobbyists launch, just a bit bigger. The warheads are generally no more then 20 pounds and is a mix of explosives and ball bearings.
Three days after the murderous Hamas attack, the Times, which has a history of anti-Israel reporting, changed a story, initially calling the murderers of Hamas “terrorists,” then changing that to “gunmen.”
In a story titled, “Hamas Leaves Trail of Terror in Israel,” the Times initially wrote, “As Israeli soldiers regain control of areas near Gaza that came under attack, they are finding evidence seen in videos and photos and confirmed by witness accounts of the massacre of civilians by Hamas terrorists.” Later, the Times changed the word “terrorists” to “gunmen.”
To bad that Israel brought in real reporters who saw with their own eyes the savagery of Hamas and released extremely graphic pictures and videos. What they showed didn’t just rival, but in many cases, surpassed the evil actions of the Nazis. Of course, the New York Slimes has a very long history and antisemitism.
In the mid-twentieth century, the Times buried the Holocaust so it didn’t make the front pages, as described in “Buried by the Times: The Holocaust and America’s Most Important Newspaper.” In April 2019, the paper published a cartoon depicting former President Trump as a blind man wearing a skullcap while being led by Netanyahu, who was depicted as a dog on a leash with a Star of David collar.
This is the second time this year the Times has lost its verification badge; it was removed by Twitter in April. Twitter CEO Elon Musk chastised The New York Times in a pair of tweets.
“The real tragedy of @NYTimes is that their propaganda isn’t even interesting,” he said, tagging the newspaper’s Twitter handle. “Also, their feed is the Twitter equivalent of diarrhea,” Musk added. “It’s unreadable. They would have far more real followers if they only posted their top articles. Same applies to all publications.”
There is a reason that the publication formally known as the New York Times is generally referred to today as the “New York Slimes.” They are no longer a newspaper. They are a flat out propaganda sheet. They deserve to lose their verification badge.
Speaking of verification badges, I have applied for one in Twitter X. I expect it will take a few days. Whether or not Elon, in his infinite wisdom, thinks that the Angry Webmaster is worthy of the little blue blurp remains to be seen. If I am awarded one, I will try, unlike the New York Slimes, to be worthy of it.
