Good day all. Once upon a time there was a progressive commentator on MSNBC by the name of Chris Matthews. Then he said something stupid and was promptly canceled by the very people he thought supported him. Since then he has been forgotten by most people. This has annoyed him and he is trying to get his “Street Cred” back with the leftists.
Recently, this barking moonbat decided to compare Americans in rural areas with terrorists. Here are the details from the Daily Fetched:
Former MSNBC host Chris Matthews said that dealing with angry rural Americans is similar to dealing with terrorists.
During an appearance on Tuesday’s “Morning Joe,” Matthews emphasized the importance of anger in mobilizing voters in elections. He claimed that rural Americans have a deep-seated anger toward liberal elites, comparing such anger to terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq.
“This is rural rage. They are so angry at the liberal establishment, the coastal elite,” he said.
Gee, I wonder why that might be?
“They look at people on television … ‘They don’t have to worry about us,’” Matthews said.
“And the regular guy in the country goes, ‘There they are snarling and making fun of us again,’ and every time we make fun of Trump, we’re making fun of them … It’s a weird thing, but in a way, it’s like fighting terrorism.”
“We think we just put the Army in or Israel just puts the IDF in, and they’re going to solve the problem,” Matthews continued.
Matthews continues doubling and tripling down on his stupidity.

Actually, yes they do, when left off the leash. We sent in the army to deal with the Nazis. Are we having any more problems with them? How about the Imperial Japanese? Fascist Italy? No hurry on your answer.
Matthews is your standard Inside the bubble Manhattan Marxist. He has nothing but contempt for the average American and considers them ignorant trash that aren’t intelligent enough to make their own decisions. Only those who are Progressives, living in the better sections of the coastal cities understand the world.
As far as Matthews is concerned, people living in the country, aka rural areas, should not even be allowed to vote. They should just bend their knees to their betters and follow orders like good little serfs, peons and slaves. When they don’t listen, they select people like Trump to be president and look what happens. Peace, Prosperity, a secure border and a future people were looking forward to.
Matthews is exactly the reason that people in what his ilk call “Fly over country” despise the Progressive Elites. Since most of them live in cities, which are collapsing from the progressive elites policies, it makes sense that they don’t like city people. Of course, being a Woke Moonbat, Matthews, like all the Progressive Elites, forgets where certain things he needs come from.
People like Matthews think that food comes from the supermarket. He doesn’t understand that it’s farmers and ranchers living in rural America who grow the vegetables and raise the meat that he buys at the market. What happens if those same people decide to not send their produce to the markets? I’m sure Matthews would demand that the Government send troops to the farms and order the farmers to hand over their crops. That is his mindset.
Well, Matthews has achieved his goal, temporarily, of showing that he isn’t as irrelevant as everyone thinks he is. Actually, no, he hasn’t. He is irrelevant and can return the canceled obscurity that he managed to temporarily escape from.
