Pelosi’s J6 committee deleted files they were told to keep

Good day all. For two years, we watched the House January 6 committee basically lie about what happened that day. Thanks to Tucker Carlson, who was able to post some of the security footage, we saw that the “Insurrectionists” acted more like tourists.

Since the Republicans took over the House, they have been trying to see what really happened and just what the original J6 committee did. Now a report has come out that the committee encrypted and deleted over 100 files after being told not to. Here are the details from Fox News:

The former House Select Committee on Jan. 6 deleted more than 100 encrypted files from its probe just days before Republicans took over the majority in the House of Representatives, Fox News Digital has learned.

Representative Barry Loudermilk is the Chairman of the House Administration Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee and he was the one who is looking into the actual security failures on January 6th, 2021. The Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, has committed additional resources into finding out what actually happened. Part of this is going through all the records from the Pelosi Kangaroo Committee. There just happens to be a problem with this.

Sources familiar with Loudermilk’s investigation told Fox News Digital that, per House rules, the former select committee, which was chaired by Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., was required to turn over all documents from its investigation to the new, GOP-led panel, after Republicans secured the majority of the House of Representatives following the 2022 midterm elections.

The problem is that Thompson told Representative Loudermilk that the Star Chamber January 6th Committee he chaired would be turning over 4 terabytes of data. What Loudermilk’s committee actually got was between two and three terabytes.

Fox News Digital has learned that Loudermilk’s committee hired a digital forensics team to scrape hard drives to determine what information they were not given.

Recovering deleted data from a hard drive is a pain in the butt. If the drive has been erased, formatted and then erased again, it’s pretty much impossible. However, these are Democrats who did this so they found some data.

The forensics team, according to sources familiar with their search, determined that 117 files were both deleted and encrypted. Sources said those files were deleted on Jan. 1, 2023 – just days before Thompson’s team was required to transfer the data to the new committee.

Fox News Digital has learned the forensics team has recovered all 117 deleted and encrypted files. Now, Loudermilk is demanding answers and passwords to access the data.

This sounds an awful lot like a cover up. There is no reason to encrypt the files, and deleting them just days before the new Republican majority was sworn in doesn’t pass the smell test.

“As you acknowledged in your July 7, 2023 letter, the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol (Select Committee) did not archive all Committee records as required by House Rules,” Loudermilk wrote. “You wrote that you sent specific transcribed interviews and depositions to the White House and Department of Homeland Security but did not archive them with the Clerk of the House.”

Loudermilk added that Thompson also “claimed that you turned over 4-terabytes of digital files, but the hard drives archived by the Select Committee with the Clerk of the House contain less than 3- terabytes of data.”

That is a significant amount of missing data. Your average home computer has between a 1 to 2 terabyte hard drive. You can purchase drives that hold significantly more data. A terabyte of data may be documents or videos. We know that the January 6th committee hid potentially exculpatory videos, and now that they are finally being released, some of the trials are not going the way the DoJ wanted. Who knows what is in the missing and encrypted files?

Loudermilk explained that after a forensic analysis of the data and archived hard drives, he was able to recover “numerous digital records from hard drives archived by the Select Committee.”

“One recovered file disclosed the identity of an individual whose testimony was not archived by the Select Committee,” Loudermilk wrote. “Further, we found that most of the recovered files are password-protected, preventing us from determining what they contain.”

Loudermilk asked that Thompson provide him “a list of passwords for all password-protected files created by the Select Committee” so that his committee can “access these files and ensure they are properly archived.”

Want to bet that Thompson “Can’t remember” them, or that Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are the ones with the passwords? Since those two idiots are out of congress, it will require a subpoena to force them to cough them up, and that is if they don’t pull “I don’t have that password any longer.”

Meanwhile, Loudermilk also penned letters to White House general counsel and the general counsel of the Department of Homeland Security, requesting “unedited and unredacted transcripts” of White House and DHS testimony to the former select committee.

Good luck with that. The Biden Maladministration will flat out refuse. I would expect nothing less from the most corrupt and tyrannical maladministration in a century or more.

“It’s obvious that Pelosi’s Select Committee went to great lengths to prevent Americans from seeing certain documents produced in their investigation. It also appears that Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney intended to obstruct our Subcommittee by failing to preserve critical information and videos as required by House rules,” Loudermilk told Fox News Digital.

The whole purpose of the January 6th Committee was to Get Trump! and to protect Nancy Pelosi. We now know that Pelosi was instrumental in rejecting any and all requests for additional security, including the National Guard. As I recall, even the Capitol Police didn’t bring in extra officers even though they knew there was a potential for problems.

Obviously, I have no idea what those files may contain, but I wouldn’t at all surprised if it turns out that it shows that most of the problems were initiated by undercover federal agents. The DoJ and FBI have refused demands for information on any and all undercover agents among the crowd. Granted this sounds like a conspiracy theory.

The Democrats have to be worried now, especially with President Trump doing so well and the Alzheimer’s case in the White House doing so badly. It will be interesting to see what happens next year if things go as they should. Meanwhile Representative Loudermilk, put the screws to Thompson good and hard.
