Good day all. As I write this, there is a lot going on and information is still coming in. The expected attack by Iran on Israel has taken place. The attack consisted of a combination of drones and missiles, all targeting Israel.
The attack didn’t go as well as the Iranians had hoped. Several Arab countries, along with several European nations along with ships from the United States Navy assisted Israel in shooting down 99% of the strike. (The few that got through didn’t do any damage apparently and may not have been targeted) Here are some of the details from Fox News on Iran’s glorious defeat:
Israel fended off a furious attack on Saturday with the help of powerful allies in the region and around the world. Multiple countries came together to help fend off over 300 drones and missiles launched at Israel from Iran, with the Israeli Defense Forces claiming that roughly 99% of the attack had been thwarted by their forces and allies.
This is what is referred to as a complete failure. It would be similar to a World War 2 bomber force not reaching it’s target, either turning around or being wiped out be defending forces. Apparently, the only thing that Iran managed to hit was the ground…in small pieces.
The U.S. was not the only country to step up in the defense of Israel, with France, Jordan and the United Kingdom also playing roles in intercepting the attack. Senior French officials told Fox News Sunday that several of the Iranian projectiles had been intercepted by French forces over Iraq and Jordan.
“France has ground-air defense elements in the region to protect its forces. They were used to neutralize what flew over our rights,” confirmed a source familiar with the matter.
Well, let’s here it for the Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys. They actually didn’t surrender at the first shot. I’m not surprised that Jordan blasted a few of the Iranian weapons that came within range. The idiots did cross over Jordanian airspace without permission and I don’t think they like the Iranians very much. Jordan has also had a lot of behind the scenes discussions going back decades.
The U.K.’s Royal Air Force also participated in the defense, according to a Times of Israel report, with RAF fighters intercepting an unknown number of drones in the region bound for Israel and vowing that its jets in the Middle East “will intercept any airborne attacks within range of our existing missions, as required.”
I don’t think Britain has a carrier in the region so I suspect it was one of their bases in one of the smaller Gulf countries. (Aden?) I’m sure the RAF pilots enjoyed the chance to fly and do some live fire exercises. (Drones are not noted for their ability to avoid fighters looking for them) Of course, the worst President* in American history, Joe Mush for Brains Biden had to jump in and take credit for everything.
“At my direction, to support the defense of Israel, the U.S. military moved aircraft and ballistic missile defense destroyers to the region over the course of the past week. Thanks to these deployments and the extraordinary skill of our servicemembers, we helped Israel take down nearly all of the incoming drones and missiles,” President Biden said in a statement condemning the Iranian attack.
of course, Biden and his handlers, (Including Obama), sort of skipped over the part about how Dementia Joe’s “Policies” actually enabled Iran. Here are those little details from Fox News:
During his appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures,” former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe argued that the Biden administration’s “fractured” relationship with Israel emboldened Iran to strike Israel, an assertion that has been echoed by many Americans.
The word people keep using to describe this attack is unprecedented, and it is. But that’s why it’s ironic that we find ourselves in the all too familiar position of talking about a long list of deterrence failures by the Biden administration. Of course, the failure to deter Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine and then, after the attack on Israel on October the 7th, the failure of the Biden administration with hollow talking points, A single word ‘Don’t.’ And the response to that, as you know, was more than 170 attacks on U.S. Forces. And the deaths of three Americans, dozens of traumatic brain injuries, so clearly not working. Which is why I was surprised that those very same hollow words and threats from the Biden administration, ‘Don’t,’ were used last week, after Israel took out IRGC general. Mohammad Zahedi, who was the architect of those October 7th attacks.
Biden’s response would normally be, “C’mon Man!” He is not capable of accepting the blame for his own incompetence. Now that he’s been installed into the White House, we have been watching him fail constantly at everything he’s done. Yes, part of this is due to his significant mental impairment, however, he’s never been right on anything in his entire career at the public trough.
They were understandably surprised and upset, as was I, that the seeds for this failure in deterrence took place in Joe Biden’s reaction to that hit in Damascus, on Zahedi, where instead of just remaining silent, the Biden administration quickly came out and said the U.S. was not involved in this. And that sent a message to Iran and to the rest of the world that the U.S. was not with Israel, that the U.S. was reluctant to support Israel on this and that really shows how fractured this relationship has become between the United States and Israel moving forward. And I think that emboldened Iran. And as one of the former intelligence officials in Iran said to me last night, with friends like Joe Biden, Israel doesn’t need more enemies.
During the Trump administration, Iran made a lot of noise and launched several attacks against American forces. They didn’t hurt any Americans, and instead of launching another war, President Trump decided to do something to really hurt Iran. He hit them in the wallet. The one retaliation that President Trump did order was the elimination of the Quds commander who had been responsible for many American deaths.
As soon as Dementia Joe was ensconced in the White House Basement Oval Office, he started, or restarted Obama’s kowtowing to the Mad Mullahs of Tehran. He basically did nothing at all to stop Iran’s assaults on Israel or the west, and actually enabled many of them by sending Iran money.
Iran has, as it always has, used that money not to help it’s own people, but to fund terrorism around the world with the October 7th attack in Israel being the result. Israel is currently preparing to finish off Hamas, much to the annoyance of Biden and his handlers. Now Iran has finally decided that now is the time to start a war with Israel since Biden is turning on the country for political reasons. Yep, Dementia Joe has once again started another war. I guess the only question now is this one going to go nuclear?
