Good day all. The replacement for the worst mayor in Chicago’s history, Lori Lightfoot, is bound and determined to make her the second worst Mayor of Chicago. When Brandon Johnson was elected to replace Lori Lightfoot, he was seen as someone who would fix all the problems she caused.
Instead, under this stuttering incompetent idiot, things have gotten far worse. Crime is out of control and this idiot has been using money meant for the city’s residents on illegal aliens. Now that President Trump has won the election and is already working to Make America Great Again, people like Johnson have doubled down on their stupidity. Here are the details from Fox News:
Democratic Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson called President-elect Trump a “threat to everything that is sensible,” while claiming Trump wants to dismantle public education and create a system of “upheaval and chaos.”
So the disaster that is Chicago is sensible? The out of control crime, the number of businesses deciding that it’s not worth staying in the city, again due to the crime issues and a whole host of other issues. Then there is the issue of all the illegals that Johnson is putting ahead of American citizens.
Johnson spoke to reporters Tuesday and took the opportunity to weigh in on his feelings about the incoming president, especially his stance on immigration and sanctuary cities.
Oh this should be good.
The mayor acknowledged the country’s challenge with immigration policy, suggesting Trump pass laws instead of making threats.
“We’re still a welcoming city. That did not change on Nov. 5, and it doesn’t change based upon who’s in the White House and whether you are seeking refuge from Central South America or the continent of Africa,” Johnson said. “This country has to remain a welcoming space for new arrivals and for immigrants.”
Obviously, this moonbat isn’t listening to his own city’s residents. They are furious at Johnson’s supporting illegal aliens at the expense of American and Legal Resident Aliens. Johnson has also been saying stupid things about blocking ICE and the Border Patrol from rounding up all the illegals and shipping them out. We don’t need to pass new laws. In fact, President Trump and his administration are going to do something that Democrats rarely due. Enforce laws already on the books.
Johnson said if Trump is committed to transforming the U.S., he will work with Congress to create “sensible” legislation that puts more border patrol and judges at the border for asylum cases. But, instead, Johnson claimed, the president and others have done the opposite and tried to create chaos.
I don’t think that Johnson has toggled to what happened last month. A large majority, beyond those who voted for President Trump, are fully on board with deporting the millions of criminals that Biden and the Democrats let in. As for asylum laws? He may want to expand them, but most people want them significantly tightened up.
“He wants to create a structure in a system where there is upheaval and chaos,” Johnson said before turning to public education. “He wants to dismantle public education, a system that was built by descendants of slaves, particularly in the south. He is a threat to everything that is sensible.”
This guy is, like a lot of Democrat office holders, completely out of touch with reality. I looked up his history on that site of incredible internet accuracy, Wikipedia, and found that he was a social studies teacher before he became a union hack. (This explains his comments on the education system) When it comes to education, he’s part of the problem, not the solution. After that, he went into politics. So yeah, the guy is completely clueless.
Karoline Leavitt, spokesperson for the Trump-Vance transition team, told Fox News Digital, “No policy should be deemed official unless it comes directly from President Trump.
“The American people re-elected President Trump by a resounding margin, giving him a mandate to implement the promises he made on the campaign trail,” Leavitt added. “He will deliver.”
That is what Progressive Liberal Democrat Moonbats are terrified of.
Still, Johnson continued to pit Trump against the city of Chicago. The mayor said he will not allow Trump to play games with the people of the city.
Of course he won’t. Playing games with Chicago is Johnson’s job and he won’t let anyone else get in the way of his fun.
“If he wants to work with us, he’ll have a partner,” Johnson said. “But if he wants to come and threaten us, then he is … he has declared opposition to us.”
And just who is President Trump threatening? Well, that would be criminals and those who are aiding and abetting them.
Johnson’s comments come a week after he claimed during another news conference that Trump is a threat to Black families.
“His threat is not just towards new arrivals and undocumented families. His threats are also against Black families. … We’re going to protect undocumented individuals,” Johnson said at the time. “We’re going to protect Black folks, Brown folks, Asian folks. The City of Chicago will be better, stronger and safer despite who’s in the White House.”
What a moron, and completely tone deaf. Recently, those very same people that Johnson complains are being threatened by President Trump, (A fair number of whom voted for President Trump), let fly at Johnson just before the City Council rejected a $300 million dollar property tax hike that he intended to use to pay for all the goodies he’s been showering on illegal aliens. (I have that in my “To Do” list)
Chicago residents have been angry with Johnson and other city officials for some time now, especially over policies allocating taxpayer money to benefit illegal immigrants who have flooded the city in recent years, while the city’s crime rate has been spiraling.
Locals blistered the Chicago City Council at a meeting in February after city and state officials had approved hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to feed, clothe and house more than 35,000 migrants who were transported to Chicago and its suburbs in the previous year and a half.
And this is why Johnson is probably going to be a one term mayor. He, like many of the Blue City mayors and a few moron governors, have completely missed what the election was all about. One of the things that has, not just angered Americans, but enraged them, is the open borders and the millions of illegals, many of them actual criminals, who this idiot is promising to protect. Even his own city council is pushing back.
Thanks to the mismanagement and flat out incompetence of Brandon Johnson, the city is looking at a billion dollar shortfall next year. This will mean that there will be budget cuts, especially since they can’t go back to the well of massive tax increases. (People have run out of money and patience) I really hope that Johnson is stupid enough to get in the way of Tom Homan and ICE when they start rounding up the illegals for shipment back where they came from.
