Good day all. Joe Biden’s blanket pardon of his son and bagman, Hunter “Hoovernose” Biden has upset many on the Left. The primary reason was Dementia Joe’s repeated statements that he would let the justice system work.
Of course, almost no one on the Right believed for one Second that Joe Biden wouldn’t pardon Hoovernose. Since the announcement, the people who have been repeatedly questioning Biden’s denial that he would issue a pardon are not just leaning back with smug looks on their faces. The Democrats, on the other hand, are feeling betrayed and now they are looking for their pound of flesh. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:
Democratic Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia said the pardon of Hunter Biden was a reason to “revisit” the power of the president to grant clemency Monday.
President Joe Biden announced he pardoned Hunter Biden in a statement released Sunday night, claiming his son had been “singled out” and alleging that “political opponents” sought to “break” both him and his son by pursuing charges. Connolly accused Republicans of “vigilante justice” in probing Hunter Biden’s business dealings before calling for a constitutional change.
Well, considering everything that has come out, and the moves by the Garland DoJ actively covering up the activities of the Biden Crime Family, is it any surprise that the Republican Party has been doing all the heavy lifting?
“I have a mixed response. As a father myself and as someone who knows Joe Biden, I can sympathize with his perspective that his son was, you know, subject to vigilante justice,” Connolly told CNN host Jim Acosta. “I certainly witnessed that in Republican depositions of Hunter Biden and his attorney. But having said that, what other father in America has the power to pardon his son or daughter if they’re convicted of a crime?”
Who else? Well, how about most of the governors in the 50 states? I haven’t looked at the history of state pardons, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there weren’t a few for family members and for really serious crimes. Now this clown of a congressman has decided that “WE NEED TO CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION!”
“I really think we have to revisit the pardon power in the Constitution and at the very least, I think we’ve got to circumscribe it so that you don’t get to pardon relatives, even if you believe passionately they’re innocent or that their cause is just,” Connolly claimed. “We just saw Donald Trump not only pardon in his previous administration his son-in-law’s father, but now appoint him to be ambassador to France. This is an abuse of power, and I think it needs to be corrected.”
So you want to change the President’s Power of the Pardon? That means a constitutional amendment. Good luck with that. I think what’s really frosting this jerk’s nuts is that President Trump is looking at pardoning most of the January 6th protesters jailed by the weaponized DoJ. We’re also seeing rumors that Dementia Joe is going to issue pardons to everyone who crossed lines in their failed attempt to “Get Trump!”
What the real issue with the pardon wasn’t that Dementia Joe issued it, it was that he lied through his teeth about it. When he signed that pardon, and it was a blanket pardon for every potential crime during the specified time period, he pulled the chest beating rug out from under all his supporters. I congratulate the Moonbats who actually believed what Joe Biden said for finally figuring out that he is a pathological liar.
Now the call to restrict the president’s power of the pardon? Not happening. There is no way you will get this passed as an amendment to the Constitution and that is the only way you can pull it off. Now the question is, will Joe Biden pardon everyone in his administration including himself? If he does that, it will crush the Democrat party for a generation, if not kill it forever. It will also open up the Democrat party as an organization to a Trump DoJ proctological exam.
