Good day all. Since the landslide election of President Trump, most Democrats have been whining, crying and making threats. A few, on the other hand, are starting to realize what most Americans already know. Their party’s ideology and actions stink.
There is little doubt that the Democrat Party has become an arrogant, totalitarian style organization that has nothing but contempt for the Constitution and anyone who gets in their way of their goal of single party rule. This is one of the reasons for the massive slap to the back of the progressives heads last November 5th. It’s now starting to sink in to a few in the Democrat Party that they have a problem. Here are the details from Fox News:
DNC National Finance Committee member Lindy Li said the Democratic Party has been weakened by President-elect Donald Trump’s victory to the point it has the stench of “loser” on it.
“I think, unfortunately, the Democratic Party has the stench of loser written all over the party,” Li, a prominent fundraiser for the party, said on “Fox & Friends Weekend.”
To be honest, it’s had that stench for a long time. You’ve just been able to hide it with lots of perfume so to speak.
Big Tech leaders like Google CEO Sundar Pichai, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg have all either met with Trump or directly, in the case of Altman, made donations to Trump’s inaugural committee after his election victory.
There is a reason for this and it isn’t the fact that the Democrats stink. These people have been in bed with the Democrats for decades and actually agree with almost everything the Democrats have been pushing for decades. The complete contempt for free speech and the active censorship of people who weren’t following the Democrat’s narratives has angered quite a few of the wrong people to get angry, one of them being President Trump.
Google itself is looking at major antitrust problems and could see itself being broken up. Zuckerberg’s Meta, aka Facebook, is also in deep water with the constant censorship and banning of conservatives and others who don’t toe the Democrat party line. Zuckerberg himself might be in legal jeopardy himself due to his “questionable” testimony to Congress.
“I’m speaking as a Democrat myself, this brings me no joy to say it. I feel like the Democrats are going to be consigned to the wilderness for at least the next four to eight years and Jeff Bezos is probably thanking his lucky stars that he withheld that endorsement,” Li said. “They’re doing everything they can now to continue the détente.”
Depending on how things go over the next two to four years, the Democrats will be lucky if all that happens is they are out in the political wilderness. Considering what we’ve seen over the last few years, and the fact that a lot of senior Democrats are now trolling for Pardons from Biden, they might be worried that they’re actually going to have to answer for some of their actions.
When asked about the reaction of the tech industry as a whole to Trump’s victory, Li said that they are excited about his incoming administration.
More like terrified about what’s coming.
“I think the tech world is loving the fact that Donald Trump is going to be the next president,” Li said. “He’s really embraced crypto. He’s saying that he wants the United States to be the crypto capital of the world.”
I personally don’t have an issue with Cryptocurrencies, I just think they’re a bit of a scam. I don’t use them and I’m not set up to handle them, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. (I have played with them in the past but long ago lost the wallets)
Li also spoke on the rising unpopularity of key Democratic Party policies, including addressing illegal immigration, saying that voters are “fed up” with Democrats.
“I’m speaking as an immigrant,” Li said. “For immigrants like me, who became naturalized Americans, proud and grateful Americans, it’s extremely upsetting that people are just flooding into the country willy-nilly.”
First, congratulations on legally immigrating to the United States and then becoming a citizen. Second, I think you are underestimating the rage at the Democrat Party regarding their throwing open the borders and essentially allowing an invasion to happen. I don’t know any legal resident aliens or naturalized citizens who want to give the illegals a path to anything except out of the country.
You may be trying to protect yourself, Ms. Li, but you are a major part of the problem, and I don’t see you as any sort of solution to the problems of the Democrat Party and the damage they’ve done going back at least a century. If you want to fix thing, then you are going to need to do what the GOP has been doing for the last eight years. Driving out all those who have stood in the way of those who want to fix the problems. Can you do that? Personally, I don’t think so.
