Good day all. Now that Jimmy Carter is dead, and Joe Biden has been brain dead for years, people are starting to compare the two of them and how things were after they left office. Where Carter knew he was considered a failure, Dementia Joe considers himself to be a complete success.
For many of you, you won’t remember just how bad things were under Jimmy Carter. Up until recently, he was considered the worst president in American history. We had out of control inflation, unemployment, not just high gas prices but actual gas shortages. Domestically, things were a mess. Internationally, the United States was on the retreat in the face of Communism and the Soviet Union. Because Carter was so big on human rights, he threw many leaders who supported the United States against the Soviet Union under the bus. One of these was the Shah of Iran and we are still dealing with that fiasco.
Then came Barack Obama. He also left a mess behind him, but with a difference. Where Jimmy Carter was incompetent, Obama was evil. I won’t go into all the things Obama did to the United States, there is plenty in my archives and around the internet. Jimmy Carter didn’t hate the United States, (Just Israel). Obama and his minions flat out did. This led to many people to compare Obama to Carter, and saying that now Carter had been demoted to the second worst president in history.
Then came the Tainted Election of 2020 and the installation of Joe Biden. Many on the right knew what a complete disaster Biden would be. There was always some question on Biden’s mental capacity. Biden’s long history of being wrong on every major policy is well documented, along with his lying about everything. Most people though he was just stupid. While he was that, it soon became clear that he just wasn’t there.
Now that the Biden Maladministration is finally closing down, people are now comparing him to Jimmy Carter. Both are considered failed presidents and both were single term presidents. One difference is that Carter lost to the Greatest President of the 20th Century, Ronald Reagan. Joe Biden was forced out by Obama, Pelosi and Schumer. This led to the shellacking of Kamala Harris and the return to office of the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump.
We are now seeing the Biden minions pushing Joe Biden’s “Accomplishments.” Here are the details from the Washington Examiner:
The White House consistently claims that President Joe Biden will go down in history as one of the most effective legislative negotiators.
Biden has suggested that public perception of his economic agenda won’t swing back into positive territory until more of the positive, downstream impacts are felt by voters, which, in some cases, could take a decade or more.
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but there will never be any swing into positive territory for Bidenomics. It was and is a continuing disaster. An epic failure. A complete disaster. It will take years to repair the economic devastation wrought by Joe Biden and the Democrats.
Biden and the Democrats rammed through a massive spending bill that sent out checks to everyone in the country. It was called the “American Rescue Plan,” and this was the bill that broke the bank.
The American Rescue Plan, a $1.9 trillion stimulus bill that Biden signed into law less than two months after stepping foot in the White House.
The bill itself barely squeaked through Congress on party-line votes and largely extended and expanded on Trump’s own COVID-19 stimulus bills, with a key aesthetic difference. Biden, unlike Trump, chose not to include his signature on the COVID-19 relief checks disbursed to eligible households, something he admitted to regretting earlier this month.
One of the issues, and President Trump was also partly to blame, was the Great Panicdemic of 2020 and the stupid lock-downs that trashed a growing economy. The first stimulus bill under President Trump was only meant to help people who were out of work due to the idiotic governors. (Trump only wanted people to stay home for a couple of weeks to let hospitals prepare for all the patients that never appeared) Things were starting to turn around when the Tainted Election happened.
Next up was the fake infrastructure bill. This was yet another Progressive Liberal Democrat tool to buy votes and get kickbacks campaign donations.
The $1 trillion investment not only advanced Biden’s plan to revitalize the economy fundamentally and all of its associated physical infrastructure but gave the president an open line of attack against his predecessor and Republicans ahead of the 2022 midterm election cycle. The president repeatedly claimed that, unlike Trump, he was ushering in an “infrastructure decade.”
There is just a minor problem. Where did the money go? These infrastructure bills pushed by the Democrats are generally nothing more then payouts to various Unions. This one was no different. Of course, by this point, people were done with the lock-downs and were flat out ignoring the orders of a number of governors. The economy was starting to turn around. But we were also seeing inflation skyrocketing.
Another disaster was the Inflation Reduction Act.
The Inflation Reduction Act was meant to be a major messaging vehicle for Democrats heading into the midterm elections and, eventually, the 2024 election cycle.
The bill passed without a single Republican vote and allocated nearly $900 billion for new green energy initiatives and healthcare subsidies while simultaneously pushing tax reforms to increase the burden on the nation’s wealthiest people and companies.
Unfortunately for Biden and Democrats, economic experts have determined the law did nothing to address inflation ahead of the 2024 election, which likely contributed to the party’s consistently poor polling regarding economic stewardship.
No, it did nothing about Inflation, other then making it worse. This was yet another cash grab by the Progressives for their goal forcing the Green New Deal on America. It was a complete failure.
Jimmy Carter lived long to see the failure that was Barack Obama, and although his mind started to go due to his illness, he also knew that compared to him, Joe Biden was an epic disaster as President of the United States. Dementia Joe has recently take to saying that he should not have stepped aside and that he could have defeated President Trump in November. Biden has always been delusional.
There are reports that if he had stayed in, President Trump would have won 400 electoral votes and secured a much larger house and senate margin. Now he is going to leave office in a few weeks. He is obviously totally incompetent mentally, and will live out his days believing to the end that he was always the smartest person in the room. History will say the opposite, and it will be Obama’s words that will define Biden and his maladministration.
