Good day all. Unsurprisingly, this story has slipped under the Democrat Propaganda Corps’s radar. (Probably intentionally) We now know that the Covid-19 virus was manufactured in a bioweapons lab in China and was paid for by Anthony Fauci as director of the NIS.
We also know that there was a deliberate campaign by the Biden Maladministration to suppress and censor anything that went against the maladministration’s narratives, in this case that the virus was of natural origins. Now a story has come out on just how far the Biden Maladministration went to shut down any and all dissenting opinions and research. Here are some of the details from The Hill:
This week, (Christmas week of course), the Wall Street Journal released an alarming report on how the Biden administration may have suppressed dissenting views supporting the lab theory on the origin of the COVID-19 virus. Not only were the FBI and its top experts excluded from a critical briefing of President Biden, but government scientists were reportedly warned that they were “off the reservation” in supporting the lab theory.
The chilling suggestion is that, despite the virus ultimately killing more than 1.2 million Americans and over 7 million people worldwide, there was still an overriding interest in the administration to downplay the Chinese responsibility for the pandemic.
Gee, I wonder why? Could it be all the money coming in to the Bidens and others in the Deep State Uniparty from China? Naa, that can’t be it.
The article provides many examples of how dissenting views were marginalized and discouraged within the government. After President Trump described the virus as the “China virus” and alleged that it likely came from a lab, dismissing the lab theory became an article of faith in politics and academia.
When President Trump referred to as the China virus, indicating where it first showed up, the Media instantly jumped to the attack. Their mindset was, and still is, that anything President Trump said was wrong and he was evil and that he should be jailed. It didn’t matter that, at the time, there was serious questions on the origin of the Wuhan Flu, if President Trump or anyone inhis administration suggested it came from China, the MSM moved to suppress it.
The problem was that FBI researchers had concluded that the lab theory was the most credible explanation. But their lead researcher, Dr. Jason Bannan, was kept out of the key meeting, and their opposing research was discounted or ignored.
Apparently, these weren’t the only people that were blocked from providing information on the source of Covid-19.
They were not alone. The Journal reported that Defense Department experts John Hardham, Robert Cutlip and Jean-Paul Chretien conducted a genomic analysis that found evidence of human manipulation of the virus. It also concluded that it was done using a specific technique developed by the Chinese at the Wuhan lab. They suggested that the Chinese appeared to have altered the “spike protein” that enables the virus to enter the human body in a “gain of function” operation.
This information was also discovered by non-government labs as well. When they tried to publish their findings, they were blocked.
They were reportedly told to stop sharing their work and warned that they had to effectively get with the team. Later, the three wrote an unclassified May 2020 paper that was prevented from being shown outside the medical intelligence center.
At the same time, letters and articles that dismissed the lab theory were organized for public consumption. The government worked with social media companies to censor those with opposing views.
This should be considered, in my opinion, a conspiracy to commit a crime against humanity, and that’s just to begin with. Add to this the active suppression of any dissenting opinions by Big Tech.
Much of the media showed the same confirmation bias and intolerance. During the Trump presidency, many journalists used the rejection of the lab theory to paint Trump as a bigot.
By the time Biden became president, not only were certain government officials heavily invested in the zoonotic or natural origin theory, but so were many in the media.
As we saw, the Biden Maladministration used the Panicdemic as a way to flat out suppress the constitutional rights of Americans, starting with Freedom of Speech. The MSM then started using their opposition to the Lab Theory, (Now proven), to virtue signal just how wonderful they were. The Hill story goes on to list a number of “Big Name” Media personalities who called anyone asking about where Covid-19 came from as ignorant conspiracy theorists.
There was just one problem with all this. The information that the Democrat Propaganda Corps and Big Tech were actively suppressing was still getting out.
As these efforts failed and more information emerged supporting the lab theory, many media figures just looked at their shoes and shrugged. Others became more ardent. In 2021, New York Times science and health reporter Apoorva Mandavilli was still calling on reporters not to mention the “racist” lab theory.
This is a major problem with the Dinosaur Media. You have very few actual reporters and way to many Journalists. To refresh your memory, a reporter is someone who simply reports information. They report what they saw, heard and otherwise observed. If they make a mistake, they will state this and then make a correction. Journalists on the other hand, have become nothing more than propagandists for the Democrat Party.
One fact, however, is already well established. The suppression of the lab theory and the targeting of dissenting scientists show the true cost of censorship and viewpoint intolerance.
The very figures claiming to battle “disinformation” were suppressing opposing views that have now been vindicated as credible. It was not only the lab theory. In my recent book, I discuss how signatories of the Great Barrington Declaration were fired or disciplined by their schools or associations for questioning COVID-19 policies.
And guess who is having the last laugh now? That would be Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, who has been appointed by President Trump to take over the National Institutes of Health, Antony Fauci’s old job. He was one of three authors of the Great Barrington Declaration.
The suppression of the lab theory proves the ultimate fallacy of censorship. Throughout history, censorship has never succeeded. It has never stopped a single idea or a movement. It has a perfect failure rate. Ideas, like water, have a way of finding their way out in time.
It used to be easier for the Deep State to bury things they didn’t want the general “Hoi polloi” to find out about. Then came the Internet and with it the explosion of new sources of information. That didn’t stop the Deep State and the Biden Maladministration from actively suppressing the 1st Amendment rights of the American People.
The first break in the dam, as it were, came when Elon Musk bought Twitter. He had seen some of the suppression of speech by the then management and tried buying a stake in the company to make changes. The moonbats fought back and Musk just bought the company outright. Very quickly it was discovered just how entrenched the Deep State censors were and Musk had a couple of reporters come in and start digging. What they found led to the Twitter Files.
I don’t know what will happen now that President Trump is gloriously returning to office. He’s definitely learned from his first term and he’s bringing in people who have no loyalty to the Washington D.C. Deep State Uniparty. Personally, I want to see criminal prosecutions, starting with Anthony Fauci. He lied to President Trump. He lied to Congress and he lied to the entire world. He needs to spend the remaining years of his life in a nice prison cell.
