Good day all. As I write this, the fires in Los Angeles are still burning. The damages are estimated to be in the tens of billions, potentially hundreds of billions. Over 20 people have been killed. One of the major issues has been the fire hydrants and reservoirs ran out of water or didn’t have any water in the first place.
Almost immediately, people who lost everything were looking for answers on how this disaster happened. It was quickly found that water that should have been stored in reservoirs had been flushed into the Pacific and that the LA fire Department’s budget had been cut with the funds redirected to Woke progressive garbage. Now everyone is starting to point fingers at everyone else. Here are the details from Fox News:
Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., appeared to deflect when he was confronted about Los Angeles residents being angry over his wildfire response, saying local leaders and people on his own team weren’t giving him a clear picture of the devastation.
In an interview with liberal podcast, “Pod Save America,” released on Saturday, the governor said he has struggled to get “straight answers” about went wrong with the wildfire response from lower-level leaders, suggesting that it has hampered his response.
“So, I’m the governor of California and wanna know the answer. I’ve got that question, I can’t tell you, by how many people, ‘What happened?’ – on my own team, ‘What happened?’… I’ll be candid with you, I wasn’t getting straight answers,” Newsom told co-host Jon Favreau, referencing his conversations with local leaders.
What happened you moron? You happened! You were provided the resources from the taxpayers to build out additional water storage facilities to handle what is currently happening. What did you do? Ignored the voters, built nothing and flushed all the rain water and snow melt out into the Pacific to save a fish. Then you flat out lied about it.
Favreau mentioned how one of his “best friends” who lost his home in The Palisades suggested that Newsom is “just trying to pass the blame” for the crisis.
Numbnuts Newsom has only one goal and it’s not to deal with the fires. It’s to protect his political future at all costs. Govno Hair Gel Newsom thinks he should be president in 2028. If people start looking at him as the problem and not the solution, his goal of being the 2028 Democrat nominee is going down the drain.
He added that many residents are “so angry” about the state’s response to the devastating blaze and asked him to respond as the man who is “ultimately responsible” for the state.
His basic response has been “It’s not MY fault! It’s everyone else’s fault!”
Newsom admitted he wasn’t fully clued in to why the response was lagging and appeared to pass the buck to other leaders.
“We had my team start talking to local leaders, saying, ‘What’s going on?’” Newsom began.
“And you weren’t getting straight answers from the local leaders?” Favreau cut in. “I was getting different answers,” Newsom affirmed, adding, “and so, for me, that’s not a – when you start getting different answers, then I’m not getting the actual story.”
And that is the sound of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Basshole being run over by the bus that Newsom just threw her under. Of course, Comrade Mayor Basshole also deserves a crap ton of blame. She’s the one who cut $17 million from the Los Angeles Fire Department’s budget, put DEI hires into place who’s only qualification for the various jobs were skin color and sexual orientation. She was also, apparently, looking to cut another $40 million from the LAFD to give it to all the DEI and LGBQTABS123 groups.
Newsom added that he has been giving these leaders “a little bit of grace,” as he understands they’re “assessing” the “emergency environment.”
Assessing the emergency environment? What’s to assess? Half the county is on fire! This is just another dodge by that incompetent Moonbat governor. People have had it and they want collect heads. Since Govno Gavin Newsom prefers to not give up his, he’s doing what Democrats have been doing for almost 10 years. Blaming President Trump.
The governor then pointed a finger at President-elect Donald Trump, who he has been feuding with after Trump accused Newsom of mishandling the wildfire response.
Trump on Wednesday slammed Newsom for not doing “a good job” throughout the crisis. He added, “It’s very sad because I’ve been trying to get Gavin Newsom to allow water to come – you’d have tremendous water up there, they send it out from the Pacific – because they’re trying to protect a tiny little fish. For the sake of a smelt, they have no water… It’s a mistake of the governor, and you could say, the administration.”
President Trump, if I recall correctly, noted that Kalifornistan had a problem and that Numbnuts needed to deal with it. Instead, Govno Hair Gel Numbnuts wants to make Kalifornistan “Trump Proof.”
Newsom’s press office responded to the comments on X, stating, “LADWP said that because of the high water demand, pump stations at lower elevations did not have enough pressure refill tanks at higher elevations, and the ongoing fire hampered the ability of crews to access the pumps.”
It added, “Broadly speaking, there is no water shortage in Southern California right now, despite Trump’s claims that he would open some imaginary spigot.”
Nice try liar. What President Trump was referring to was the infrastructure that the taxpayers authorized and provided money for to store water and not pouring water into the ocean instead of the existing cisterns.
During the podcast interview, Newsom again slammed Trump for the claims, stating the president is spreading misinformation.
“It’s words. It’s a salad. It’s the form and substance of fog. It’s made up. It’s delusional and it’s a consistent mantra from Trump going back years and years and years, and it’s reinforced over and over and over within the right wing.”
The governor added that Trump has managed to bring this alleged affinity for misinformation “into this crisis in a profoundly demeaning and damaging way.”
What a Progressive Liberal Democrat incompetent idiot calls “Misinformation” has usually ended up being quite accurate. Then there are those pesky little facts like the Kalifornistan State budget and all the orders Govno Newsom issued that has ended up making the entire State slowly fail. People have had it and aren’t putting up with it anymore.
Trump transition team spokesperson Steven Cheung replied to Newsom’s accusation, telling Fox News Digital, “Instead of appearing on liberal podcasts, maybe Newscum [sic] should be doing his f—ing job and actually help people who continue to suffer under his terrible leadership.”
That would be a first. Newsom and the Democrats have have flat out destroyed Kalifornistan. Businesses have been going out of business or just moving out of state. Silicon Valley is slowly moving to Texas, Tennessee, North and South Carolina and other states that don’t see them as bottomless piggy banks.
It’s so bad that people are now fleeing the state. All that’s left are the poor and the rich. The middle class has left. Now the Rich may be leaving as well. You let their homes burn down. I’m just wondering if there will be another recall against Newsom. He managed to survive the last one. I don’t think he will this time if it happens again. However, this is Kalifornistan and the Democrats have worked very hard to rig elections to maintain their power. We shall see.
