Good day all. Last year, the Republicans said the Democrats planned to put illegal aliens on Medicare. The Democrats said this was just another conspiracy theory by the Republican Party, and they had no such plans. Well, about that conspiracy theory.
The Democrats are planning to do just that. The Democrats want to force Americans into Socialist medicine, and now they are stating for the record, they intend to put illegal aliens on it as well. Here are the details from the Federalist:
A fear tactic,” a “red herring,” and a “flat-out lie” — that’s how Democrats described Republicans’ claims that the left wanted to give free health care to illegal aliens last year during a government shutdown. Yet three weeks before voters decide who controls Congress, U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and other Democrats are making “Medicare for All” — including for illegal aliens — a central campaign promise, and a host of Democrat senators are backing a bill that would cement that policy in law.
Sen. Bernie Sanders’ “Medicare for All” bill would create a right for illegal aliens and other noncitizens to get taxpayer-funded health care. Under the current version, health care would be provided to “every individual who is a resident of the United States.” The Health and Human Services secretary would “promulgate a rule that provides criteria for determining residency for eligibility purposes under this Act.”
No surprise there. Sanders is a flat out communist and always has been. Like all the Democrats. Socialists and Communists, they refuse to accept what they are planning simply won’t work and has never worked. Their mantra is always. “Well real socialism hasn’t been tried yet and this time it will work!”
And as Unleash Prosperity pointed out, “Just in case ‘all residents’ isn’t clear enough, the Medicare for All Act also prohibits ‘discrimination’ based on ‘citizenship status.’”
And, as we know, the Democrats hate the United States. They hate Americans, They hate everything that made this the greatest nation in history, and will do anything to destroy it. Step one was throwing open the borders during the Biden Maladministration. If the Democrats get full control of the three branches of government again, the border wall will be removed and what comes afterwords will make the four years under Biden look like a minor issue.
The bill has 18 Senate Democrat cosponsors, including some who accused Republicans of lying last year when Republicans said Democrats wanted to give illegal aliens free health care.
And that should be thrown right into their faces on the floor of the Senate. I know that the “Old Guard,” people like John Thune, won’t do that, but there are plenty of others who won’t hesitate. The Democrats need to be called out. The Republicans need to stop bending over and saying “Thank you sir, may I have another?”
During an October 2025 interview, host Tony Dokoupil asked Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., about Republican claims that Democrats were fighting for taxpayer dollars for illegal aliens.
“It is a flat-out lie! It is a flat-out lie!” Warren jumped in. “There is nothing in Medicaid, nothing in Medicare, that permits one undocumented immigrant to get one dollar of assistance. None.”
They don’t call Warren “Lie-a-watha” for nothing.
Sen. Tina Smith, D-Minn., similarly dismissed the same accusations in an interview around the same time.
Of course she did.
“This is really a red herring. It is something that they’ve been saying and it gives me a chance to set the record straight. Federal law today prohibits health insurance benefits, the Affordable Care Act, tax credits, Medicare, Medicaid. It says it cannot be used at all by people who are undocumented, who are not here legally. That is the law. There is nothing that we are trying to do to change that law,” Smith said, adding the claims were just “a fear tactic.”
In a small way, she is correct. It is currently against the law to put illegal aliens on Medicare. However, the Democrats plan on passing a new bill creating a socialist medical system and that will be open to pretty much everyone on earth.
I expect that they will make it illegal to buy private insurance and probably illegal to pay a doctor cash for services rendered. In other words, they will actually revisit Hillarycare from the Clinton administration. One of the things she was going to do was make it a crime to pay for medical care out of your own pocket and put both the patient and doctor in jail. Thankfully, that disaster was shut down hard.
We are seeing the Democrats once again lying through their teeth. First they denied that they ever intended to put Illegal Aliens on Medicare. When called on this, they accused everyone of being conspiracy theorists and everything else under the sun. Now they are actively pushing bills that will reward illegal aliens at the expense of American citizens.
It’s time for the GOP to remove their thumbs and start spending all that money they’ve been raising. If the Democrats take control now and gain the presidency in 2028, the country is finished. Is this hyperbole? I sure hope it is, but I’ve seen time and time again just how Democrats act when they have power.
