Good day all. One thing you can say about the Democrat Party is that they are consistent. They are consistent in their hatred of Donald Trump, his policies and anyone associated with his administration or the Make America Great Again philosophy.
We saw just how far the Democrats were willing to go in the first Trump administration. False charges of working for the Russians and two bogus impeachment attempts. During the 4 year interregnum, we saw a flat out move to jail anyone who opposed the Democrat Party, starting with President Trump. We are still discovering just how bad things were. Now we have another Democrat consistency. Their inability to learn anything.
Recently, Democrat Senator Elissa Slotkin, (D-Michigan), decided to announce to America what is in store for anyone who supports the Trump Administration and would like to work for the Administration. She wants to throw them in prison. Here are the details from Fox News:
Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., is facing online backlash after saying she wants the threat of prosecution to make young people think twice before taking jobs in the Trump administration.
During an Oct. 13 University of Chicago event focused on her political path and the future of the Democratic Party, Slotkin said she wants to pursue “signature cases” against people who “enabled” President Donald Trump.
“I want to look at these signature cases and not just focus on the president, but on the people who enabled him,” the Michigan Democrat said. Slotkin went on to describe how she wants prospective administration employees to weigh the risks.
“I want young people coming out of school to say, should I go work for the Trump administration? Like, that sounds fun, I might get an opportunity. I want them to be like, Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don’t want, and so let me avoid participating in that,” she said. “I want that deterrence message.”
Well, it’s nice to see that Slotkin announce to the American People that the Democrat Party’s plans, once they take power, is to ramp up the Lawfare and railroad anyone who supports President Trump into prison. I wonder if this totalitarian bitch has considered what might happen when people are being grabbed by newly hired federal thugs?
The remarks were made during a University of Chicago event focused on Slotkin’s political path and the future of the Democratic Party. A clip of the exchange circulated online, prompting critics to accuse her of trying to scare potential administration employees away from public service.
Of course she is. She would have said this early on if she understood what Elon Musk and his DOGE team was going to find and do. Then you have all the information being uncovered from the FBI and DoJ on just how corrupt Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray were and their utter contempt for the Constitution. The list of accomplishments, (Not only not covered by the Legacy Media, but actively buried), by the Administration is something she would have tried to stop early on.
Scott Kupor, director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, which manages the federal government’s civilian workforce, called Slotkin’s comments “disappointing and unprofessional.”
“This is incredibly disappointing and unprofessional coming from a U.S. senator — endorsing political prosecutions to dissuade patriotic Americans from serving their country,” Kupor wrote on X. “In contrast, we at OPM believe in recruiting the best and brightest early-career prospects.”
Michael Bicksel, a University of Chicago student, said Slotkin’s remarks made him and other conservative students feel they could face political persecution for serving in the Trump administration.
“Sen. Slotkin, a self-avowed “defender of democracy,” told me and other conservative students that we should live in fear of political persecution if we dare serve our country in the Trump administration. Sadly for her, we will never be intimidated by her Bolshevik-style tactics,” he wrote on X.
Slotkin was not promising persecution, she was promising political retribution and prosecution. This may have something to do with the search warrants served on Ilhan Omar. The Democrats have been circling the wagons to protect Omar. They are all saying that this is lawfare and that President Trump is going after her for political reasons. They seem to have forgotten that this investigation began under the Biden maladministration. Then we have “The Anointed One,” Barack Obama shooting his big mouth off.
“The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views,” Obama wrote on X.
That went over like a lead balloon. Obama was called out for ignoring what Slotkin said she wants to do and what is going with Omar. The one elephant in the room regarding Omar is that the DoJ might actually have something on her and that the search warrants were simply the final parts of the investigation before they go to a Grand Jury.
With the midterms approaching, Slotkin’s comments have added to the debate over how Democrats would use congressional power if they win control of the House or Senate.
We know how they will use it. We saw that in the first Trump administration and the Biden Maladministration. They have announced that if they take control of the House/Senate, they are going to make the investigations in the first Trump Administration look like look like minor Nerf ball questions basically asking what someone had for lunch.
The good news is that Slotkin’s big mouth has blown up in her face. The bad news is that she is not up for reelection. However, her remarks are being used against her in a court of public opinion. I’m also wondering what a quiet investigation into her activities might find. It would have to be quiet if conducted by the DoJ in case she hasn’t done anything illegal.
On the other hand, perhaps a Nick Shirley type citizen investigator might do some digging. In any case, Slotkin has said the quiet part out loud and now people are getting ready for the next round of Democrat Lawfare. If Slotkin and the Democrats aren’t careful, really not good things could happen, things that most people would prefer remain in the realm of fiction.
