And in other news, water is wet, the sun is hot and night time is dark. Good day all. The Boston Globe has decided that it will lead an attack of words against President Donald Trump. The reason? President Trump says mean things about them.
Since before the election, the Mostly Stupid Media has been on the warpath against President Trump. It isn’t policy disagreements, it’s absolute blind hatred for a man who won’t bow down to the Mavens Morons in the Media. Since the election, the MSM has be-clowned itself repeatedly claiming things like “Russia stole the Election for Trump!” when all the evidence points to the Democrats and Felonia von Pantsuit as the ones who were colluding with the Russians.
They have also reported many many things that were either wrong, or, in many cases, outright falsehoods. This has led the White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee to use the term “Fake News” when the MSM makes one of their wild claims. Sadly for the MSM, she’s usually right.
Now the Boston Globe, in an effort to prove that they are not biased, has announced that it will lead a nationwide editorial assault on President Trump. Here are some of the details from Yahoo! News:
A Boston newspaper is proposing a coordinated editorial response from publications across the U.S. to President Donald Trump’s frequent attacks on the news media.
“We are not the enemy of the people,” said Marjorie Pritchard, deputy managing editor for the editorial page of The Boston Globe, referring to a characterization of journalists that Trump has used in the past. The president, who contends he has largely been covered unfairly by the press, also employs the term “fake news” often when describing the media.
Actually, you are the “Enemy of the People.” Well, to be more accurate, something you aren’t, you are an enemy of freedom, liberty and most especially, the truth.
The Globe has reached out to editorial boards nationwide to write and publish editorials on Aug. 16 denouncing what the newspaper called a “dirty war against the free press.”
Once again, the masters of Fake News miss the target. They accuse President Trump, and anyone who supports him, of engaging in a “Dirty War” against them. If this were a real dirty war, then Marjorie Prichard would probably be on a plane over the Atlantic, actually, she wold probably have just vacated the aircraft in an involuntary manner, and would be trying to figure out how to fly by flapping her arms.
As of Friday, Pritchard said about 70 outlets had committed to editorials so far, with the list expected to grow. The publications ranged from large metropolitan dailies, such as the Houston Chronicle, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Miami Herald and Denver Post, to small weekly papers with circulations as low as 4,000.
So, basically, it’s the usual suspects. Not one of these papers supports President Trump, or the actual United States. I have no doubt that they will all write thoughtful, insightful editorials on how President Trump is a racist, anyone who supports him is a racist member of the Neo-Nazi KKK and that if you don’t agree with every word they write, you are a racist.
The newspaper’s request was being promoted by industry groups such as the American Society of News Editors and regional groups like the New England Newspaper and Press Association. It suggested editorial boards take a common stand against Trump’s words regardless of their politics, or whether they generally editorialized in support of or in opposition to the president’s policies.
“Our words will differ. But at least we can agree that such attacks are alarming,” the appeal said, acknowledging that newspapers were likely to take different approaches.
Pritchard, who oversees the Globe’s editorial page, said the decision to seek the coordinated response from newspapers was reached after Trump appeared to step up his rhetoric in recent weeks. At an Aug. 2 political rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Trump told his audience that the media was “fake, fake disgusting news.”
“What ever happened to the free press? What ever happened to honest reporting?” the president asked, pointing to journalists covering the event. “They don’t report it. They only make up stories.”
The Mostly Stupid Media, rather than trying to determine why people see them as manufactures of fraudulent stories, continue to prove President Trump’s point by putting together a large group of editors who will all say the same thing. Now if this were unlawful, which it isn’t, it would be called a “Conspiracy.” Instead, we call it what it will be. Fake News.
Pritchard said she hoped the editorials would make an impression on Americans.
“I hope it would educate readers to realize that an attack on the First Amendment is unacceptable,” she said. “We are a free and independent press, it is one of the most sacred principles enshrined in the Constitution.”
The ignorance of this CommuNazi cow is only surpassed by her complete lack of understanding of the Constitution of the United States. The 1st Amendment reads:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
What President Trump is doing is exercising HIS right of free speech. He is not sending in troops to shut down newspapers and arrest reporters. He is simply calling them out for what the MSM writes and claims is News. More often then not, the so called “News” stories are nothing more than diatribes against anyone or anything that doesn’t toe the Progressive Totalitarian line. Basically, it comes down to “Free speech for me, but not for thee.”
Whenever the MSM accuses President Trump of some outrage, he does something never before seen in the Beltway Swamp. He doesn’t sit there and ask for another punch in the mouth, he punches back and hard.
This is something new for the MSM. When we were dealing with the corruption and incompetence of Barack Obama, the MSM basically buried everything they could. The same thing happened when Felonia von Pantsuit was discovered to be illegally storing top secret information on an unsecured private server.
When George Bush was president, they went after him, but since he was a wimp, he didn’t fight back. When it was Bubba Horndog in the White House, despoiling the Oval office and blue dresses, the MSM actively covered up the stories. (Gee, I think I’m seeing a pattern here)
The so called “Main Stream Media” has only themselves to blame for the current state of affairs. They’ve been caught to many times saying that something was “Fake, but accurate.” and then we find out it was just fake. Now we have a president who is calling them out and they can’t handle it. This move by the Boston Globe is just another instance of proving President Trump is right.
