Good day all. Since Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh, (Nope, not tired of saying that), was sworn in, the Left has gone completely around the bend. One of the issues is senior executives of major internet companies being less then circumspect in their comments. One such person is David Hogue, who is, apparently, Googles UX Design Lead.
Google has come under fire of late, along with Facebook, Twitter and to some extent Apple, for banning or blocking anyone who says something that their Progressive employees don’t like. This has led for calls to break up Google under the anti-Trust laws. This, of course, is not what Google’s management team wants. However, they can’t seem to understand that threatening people and blocking them from speaking doesn’t help their case. And then we have this mess. Here are the details from Fox News:
A design lead at Google has slammed Republicans in an angry Twitter rant over the nomination of now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
“You are finished, @GOP. You polished the final nail for your own coffins. F–K. YOU. ALL. TO. HELL,” wrote Dave Hogue Saturday, in the now-deleted tweet.
“I hope the last images burned into your slimy, evil, treasonous retinas are millions of women laughing and clapping and celebrating as your souls descend into the flames,” he added.
Apparently, Hogue either sobered up or the drugs wore off and he realized he had put his foot in it big time. He deleted his tweet from Twitter.
On Sunday, Hogue confirmed that he had deleted the tweet. “Yes, I deleted that tweet. Yes, those opinions are mine personally, and I am responsible for them. Yes, I should have been more eloquent and less condemning. Yes, I still believe the @GOP is wrong and not serving your best interests. Yes, I still believe we can do much better.”
Deleting his tweet doesn’t solve the problem of course. What goes on the internet, stays on the internet. I think Hogue knows this, however, he has demonstrated that he is nothing more then a Progressive Totalitarian CommuNazi, and we all know that common sense is not one of their strengths.
“What employees say in their personal capacity has no bearing on the way we build or operate our products,” a Google spokeswoman told Fox News, via email.
I do believe there is a now former employee who voiced an opinion that didn’t gibe with the CommuNazi orthodoxy of Googlag and was summarily fired. I believe he’s currently suing Googlag for wrongful termination.
Google is coming under close scrutiny at the moment amid allegations of anti-conservative bias at the company, which it denies.
Of course they deny it. To admit it would be to paint a giant bullseye on their Headquarters and say “Please Washington, come break us up!”
The firm’s CEO Sundar Pichai met privately with GOP lawmakers on Capitol Hill last month to discuss the allegations and concerns about privacy issues and the firm’s re-entry into China.
Google will do anything to get into China, including blocking any form of dissent in China and any criticism outside of China. This gives the appearance that Google would prefer living under a totalitarian regime, especially if they were part of that regime. Considering the groupthink mindset of the major tech companies, this isn’t at all surprising.
David Hogue is just another example of the totalitarian ideals that the Progressives want to force on people. They live in a bubble and literally are not able to comprehend that there are others in the world who disagree with them. When they come across someone like that, their first instinct is to destroy them.
The Federal government is considering breaking up these companies. The European Union is always fining Google and others for one thing or another. (Truth be told, they just want to loot American companies for their own benefit) I’m not a fan of government doing these things, but unless companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter start moving to a more neutral position, they are going to find themselves being chopped up. Idiots like Hogue just provide more fuel to that fire.
