Good day all. Last week, Alexandria Occasional-Cortex released her Green New Deal plan to destroy the United States. She got Senator Ed “Ice Cream Man” Markey, (D-Taxachussetts), to put it forward in the senate.
The Green New Deal has been widely derided for being nothing more then a plan to turn the United States into the Soviet States of America. However, Mitch McConnell decided to help things along by bringing the bill to a vote in the Senate. According to an article on Fox News:
“I’ve noted with great interest the Green New Deal,” McConnell told reporters. “And we’re going to be voting on that in the Senate. We’ll give everybody an opportunity to go on record and see how they feel about the Green New Deal.”
This would force the Democrats in the Senate to basically put up or shut up.
McConnell’s move to bring the plan to a vote on the Senate floor will be a key test for Democratic presidential candidates such as Sens. Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, who are running on the progressive platform in 2020.
While backing of the far-left proposal will ultimately improve their liberal bona fides and their support from the Democratic base, the support of the plan will undoubtedly be the target of attacks during the general election.
And there’s the rub. Normally, the Progressives like to make a lot of noise about bills such as this thinking that they won’t actually have to go on record supporting or opposing it. Now that we have been able to see what the bill actually will do, people, outside of Communists, are running as fast as they can away from it. This caused Senator Ed “Ice Cream Man” Markey to whine on twitter about how unfair it was that he would have to actually vote to support or oppose this disaster. Here are those details from Fox News:
One of the co-authors of the Green New Deal is slamming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., for announcing he’s bringing the resolution to a vote.
Last week, Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., introduced a sprawling blueprint of an environmental and economic overhaul that has gotten the support of numerous Democrats, including most of the candidates who have announced 2020 presidential runs.
And then Markey’s cunning plan walked into political reality.
“Don’t let Mitch McConnell fool you: this is nothing but an attempt to sabotage the movement we are building. He wants to silence your voice so Republicans don’t have to explain why they are climate change deniers. McConnell wants this to be the end, this is just the beginning,” Markey tweeted. “This isn’t a new Republican trick. By rushing a vote on the #GreenNewDeal resolution, Republicans want to avoid a true national debate & kill our efforts to organize. We’re having the first national conversation on climate change in a decade. We can’t let Republicans sabotage it.
Aww, is the poor wittle ice cweam twuck dwiver unhappy that he is going to actually have to vote on this fiasco? I suspect the original plan, once the Democrats with half a clue, (All 4 of them), was to keep pushing for a vote thinking the Republicans would block it. Then they could use it as ammunition in the next election.
Sadly, for the Democrats, McConnell has finally figured out that the Democrats are nothing more than pond scum, and he has started using their own tactics against them. Now the Democrats will have to go on record, including several who are running for President, as supporting or not supporting this economic mess. As for the response to Ed Markey. Let’s just say people weren’t kind to the little crybaby.

“He wants to silence your voice by letting your elected representatives votes on the enormous fecal taco I co-wrote!”
Ed Malarkey is the Alexandria Occasional-Cortex of his generation. She was a bar tender and he drove an Ice cream truck. Malarkey doesn’t even live in Massachusetts. However, he is an excellent conman and Massachusetts is a state populated by idiots who keep electing him to office.
If he and the others vote in favor of this, then these votes will be used against them in the next election. The ads will show a booming economy, (Which we now have thanks to President Trump), and what the economy will look like if the Green New Deal is implemented. Picture a total wasteland, pictures of bread lines, and people trying to find toilet paper. (Use Detroit as a good example)
If the Democrats vote against it, then the radical left in their own party will move against them, and put up opponents in primaries. If that happens, then the literal communists running in the general election will be solidly hammered, breaking the Democrats for a generation, if not longer. Mitch the Turtle has put the Democrats between a rock and a hard place and is now driving a Mack truck over it.
