Good day all. Groping Joe Biden is blessed with not having to deal with original ideas or thoughts. Instead, he just borrows extensively from other people who do have ideas and thoughts. Recently, he decided to borrow one of the biggest lies to come from the Obama Regime.
When Obamacare was in the process of being jammed down America’s throats, one of the big lies told by Obama was “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.” Many people knew that was a lie, but the media refused to allow that truth to be known. Now, Groping Joe has decided that was a good phrase and he’s stolen it for his own use. Here are the details from Fox News:
“If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.”
That familiar pledge, made repeatedly over several years by former President Barack Obama, was named the 2013 “Lie of the Year” by fact-checking website Politifact, as millions of individuals lost their private insurance — and had to switch to costlier options — due to changes mandated by the Affordable Care Act.
Obamacare was, is and always will be a complete disaster. It was meant as a stepping stone to ending all private medical care and putting the who system under the control of bureaucrats. The current crop of Communists currently running for the Democrat Presidential Nomination are making no secret that they intend to kill as many people as possible institute government run single payer healthcare. Biden, who has no problem with this, knows how many people hate the idea so he’s decided to “Improve Obamacare.”
On Monday, (July 15), Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden unveiled his own health care plan, and issued a similar-sounding promise while speaking at a presidential forum sponsored by AARP in Des Moines, Iowa.
“I give people the option,” Biden said, after dismissing his opponents’ “Medicare-for-all” proposals, which would eliminate private health insurance entirely. “If you like your health care plan, your employer-based plan, you can keep it.”
Biden added: “You get full coverage, and you can stay with your plan if you like it. You can stay with your employer-based plan, or you can move on. I think it’s the quickest, most reasonable, rational and best way to get to universal coverage.”
Biden seems to have forgotten what an epic failure Obamacare has been. But then, Groping Joe doesn’t have that firm a grasp on reality, and never has.
Biden has said his proposal would add a “public option,” or government insurance plan, to existing exchanges that sell private insurance.
Considering past history, where Obamacare caused insurance rates to skyrocket, how does this fool think people are going to be able to afford it?
Biden has indicated that massive income-based subsidies would ensure that any household could get coverage through exchanges.
So welfare. And does Groping Joe bother to mention where the money for these subsidies is going to come from? He doesn’t actually say it, but he already has announced plans to massively increase taxes on everyone. Meanwhile, Obamacare is under assault everywhere, and it isn’t doing very well. The tax reform law ended the hated mandate that you WILL buy insurance or else, and now, since Groping Joe’s boss was to stupid to build in a means to decouple the mandate from the rest of Obamacare, has granted an opening to kill the “Affordable Care Act” once and for all.
The ACA, also known to many as ObamCare, however, has faced significant headwinds in the courts. One of the nation’s most conservative federal appeals courts heard opening arguments last Tuesday in a case that could determine the future of the Affordable Care Act, and seemed destined to make its way to the Supreme Court.
Which is the absolute last thing Chief Justice and swamp dwelling sellout wants to see.
A three-judge panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans heard arguments in Texas vs. the United States, which seeks to determine whether Congress effectively invalidated Obama’s entire signature health care law when it zeroed out the tax imposed on those who chose not to buy insurance.
Oh what a tangled web Roberts wove with his constitutional sell out, all because he didn’t want to actually do his job and rule that Obamacare was unconstitutional. Thanks to his stupidity and incompetence, he opened a hole big enough to sale the USS Nimitz through. Needless to say, Groping Joe is big on reinforcing failure.
Speaking in New Hampshire, Biden countered, “We should not be scrapping ObamaCare, we should be building on it.”
“I think one of the most significant things we’ve done in our administration is pass the Affordable Care Act,” Biden said this weekend. “I don’t know why we’d get rid of what in fact was working and move to something totally new. And so, there are differences.”
He argued that some of his opponents, with the exception of Bernie Sanders, aren’t fairly representing the consequences of their proposals.
“Bernie’s been very honest about it,” Biden said. “He said you’re going to have to raise taxes on the middle class. He said it’s going to end all private insurance. I mean, he’s been straightforward about it. And he’s making his case.”
Comrade Bernie plans to end the USA and create the USSA, because Communism works so well in places like the USSR, Cuba, North Korea…
Sanders, meanwhile, hit back at Biden, clarifying that his plan would be a net financial benefit for most households: Their federal taxes would go up, but their private insurance premiums, deductibles and co-pays would be eliminated.
Net benefit? Not after Comrade Bernie confiscates everything people have, which is his goal. However, this is all about Groping Joe and his desire to “Make America Fail Again” by once again lying about everything. Obamacare failed as everyone who wasn’t a barking moonbat, or flat out retarded, (Which describes every Progressive ever), knew. The mandate was flat out unconstitutional and Roberts basically legislating from the bench should have had him impeached. If Groping Joe somehow manages to get elected, and tries to implements this garbage, expect the collapse of the healthcare system in America. And massive tax hikes.
