FISA warrants against Carter Page WERE illegal

Good day all. A couple of years ago, reports came out that the Obama Justice Department has been bugging the Trump transition team. At first, the CommuNazis, (Formally known as Democrats), denied this and accused anyone who believed to of being a conspiracy theorist.

Then it came out that the DoJ had gone to the FISA court and gotten wiretap warrants. One of their main targets was Carter Page. Mr, Page was working for the Trump Team as a foreign policy advisor. The Comey FBI decided to bug him and went to the FISA court to get a warrant. In fact, they went back 3 more times to extend the warrants. Now, the DoJ is admitting that the warrants were illegally obtained. Here are the details from Fox News:

At least two of the FBI’s surveillance applications to secretly monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page lacked probable cause, according to a newly declassified summary of a Justice Department assessment released Thursday by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC).

The DOJ’s admission essentially means that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant authorizations to surveil Page, when stripped of the FBI’s misinformation, did not meet the necessary legal threshold and should never have been issued.

Democrats, including Rep. Adam Schiff, had previously insisted the Page FISA warrants met “rigorous” standards for probable cause, and mocked Republicans for suggesting otherwise.

What do you have to say now Schifthead, now that the Department of Justice has stated that at least two of those warrants, (And probably all of them), didn’t meet the standards? Hello? Is this thing on? *tap* *tap* *tap* I guess Adam Shifthead is going to deny and lie again, since that’s the only thing he can do.

The June 2017 Page FISA warrant renewal, which was among the two deemed invalid by the DOJ, was approved by then-Acting FBI Director (and now CNN contributor) Andrew McCabe, as well as former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The April 2017 warrant renewal was approved by then-FBI Director James Comey.

So when are the arrests and trials going to happen? My guess is they’re going to wait until after the impeachment and possibly the election. Once President Trump has won his second term, he won’t have to play political games any longer. Since he got rid of that useless Uniparty RINO, Sleepy Sessions and put in William Barr, things have been moving along briskly. I’m sure he’s up to speed on what John Durham has found and there are going to be criminal charges brought.

Today’s unprecedented court filing represents another step on the road to recovery for America’s deeply damaged judicial system,” Page said in a statement to Fox News. “I hope that this latest admission of guilt for these civil rights abuses by the Justice Department marks continued progress towards restoring justice and remedying these reputationally ruinous injuries.”

I believe Mr. Carter also has a lawsuit pending. This is going to go a long way to helping him and his lawyers. The criminal violations of Mr. Carter civil rights has also angered the FISC judges. They want answers and they want them much sooner rather then later.

FISC Presiding Judge James Boasberg, in the Jan. 7 order that was published for the first time Thursday, further required the government to explain in a written statement by Jan. 28 the “FBI’s handling of information” obtained through the Page warrants and subsequent renewals.

Boasberg specifically noted the DOJ found “there was insufficient predication to establish probable cause to believe that Page was acting as an agent of a foreign power” because of the “material misstatements and omissions” in the warrant applications.

That’s another way of saying that Comey, McCabe and the others flat out lied to the court to get their warrants. That is what used to be called a “Bozo No No!”

Although the DOJ assessment technically only covered two of the applications to renew the Page FISA warrant, the DOJ “apparently does not take a position on the validity” on the first two Page FISA applications, Boasberg said, seemingly indicating that the DOJ seemingly did not want to defend their legality either.

So basically, they are saying that all the warrant applications were nothing more then a load of crap.

The FBI’s FISA applications to monitor Page heavily relied, Horowitz confirmed, on a now-discredited dossier funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee (DNC), as well as on news reports that secretly relied on the dossier’s author.

Much of the Steele dossier has been proved unsubstantiated, including the dossier’s claims that the Trump campaign was paying hackers in the United States out of a non-existent Russian consulate in Miami, or that ex-Trump lawyer Michael Cohen traveled to Prague to conspire with Russians. Special Counsel Robert Mueller also was unable to substantiate the dossier’s claims that Page had received a large payment relating to the sale of a share of Rosneft, a Russian oil giant, or that a lurid blackmail tape involving the president existed.

The Steele Dossier was nothing more then a pack of lies made up by someone who hated Donald Trump. The funding for this originally came from a Republican, as opposition research, but that person canceled the contract. It was Felonia von Pantsuit who shoveled something like $6 million dollars through shell companies that really paid for that load of manure.

It was used by Felonia to try and discredit candidate Trump, but it was so over the top, only the Democrats and their Propaganda arm pushed it. That is, until Steele, through a cutout, got it into the hands of Senator John McSlime. He took it and handed it off to the FBI, giving it a small semblance of credibility. In case you’re wondering, McSlime despised President Trump and was quite willing to do anything to get him. Thankfully, that scumbag is now feeding worms.

Meanwhile, any information generated by the bogus warrants are now being “Sequestered.” They can’t be used for any purpose. I believe, in legal terms, anything generated from the surveillance taps is considered to be “Fruit of the poisonous tree.” Any leads or other legal actions generated by that data can’t be used and must be discarded. Since the FBI and the DoJ were trying to overthrow President Trump, they used everything they could get, regardless of how they got it.

This brings us to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz. He was tasked to dig into this mess. While his report claimed that there was no “”Malice”, U.S. Attorney John Durham disagreed. However, Mr. Durham has more legal tools at his disposal then the Inspector General had, and he recently converted his investigation from a fact finding one to a criminal investigation. For him to do this means that he found something that the IG didn’t.

While the FBI has promised corrective action, it apparently has not gone far enough. Earlier this month, David Kris, who has been appointed by the FISC to oversee the FBI’s proposed surveillance reforms, alerted the court that the bureau’s proposals are “insufficient” and must be dramatically “expanded” — even declaring that FBI Director Christopher Wray needs to discuss the importance of accuracy and transparency before the FISC every time he “visits a field office in 2020.”

The unclassified findings were a stark rebuke to Wray, who had filed assurances to the FISC that the agency was implementing new procedures and training programs to assure that the FBI presents accurate and thorough information when it seeks secret warrants from FISC judges. At the same time, Wray acknowledged the FBI’s “unacceptable” failures as it pursued FISA warrants to monitor Page.

I have a suspicion that Director Wray may be invited to spend more time with his family after the election. He was brought in to clean up the mess left by Comey, and instead he seems to be more interested in protecting the FBI. I don’t see him as much better then the former Attorney General, Sleepy Sessions.

I do have a problem with who was selected to review and improve the FISA court. I’ve written about David Kris before and I flat out do not trust the man. However, he wasn’t appointed by anyone in the Trump Administration, he was chosen by the FISC judge who is allegedly working to clean up the mess made by Comey and company. Long story short, he’s an Obama judge. Still, we do have John Durham.

Durham is focusing on foreign actors, as well as the CIA, while Horowitz concentrated his attention on the Justice Department and FBI.

“Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened,” Durham said in his statement, adding that his “investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department” and “has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S.”

Durham and Barr have traveled extensively to interview witnesses and develop evidence. He’s also running a fairly tight ship so there is a dearth of information getting leaked to the media. (Of course, depending on how this is going, some in the media may find themselves in the dock as well)

All this is leading to an inescapable conclusion, one that everyone, including President Trump, would really like not to make. That it wasn’t just Comey, Brennan and other lower level functionaries that set fire to the constitution in order to get President Trump, but that this is leading into the Obama White House and possibly into the Oval Office itself.

Does that mean that former president Obama could be criminally charged? If he hadn’t been pardoned, Richard Nixon was looking at an indictment for essentially the same thing. While I would love to see Obama charged for his actions as president, to many people are fearful of where that could lead. Considering the damage Obama did, I say if the evidence supports it, charge him and try him. As for the FISA court? The people demanding to disband it is starting to grow and move towards the center of American politics.
