Good day all. Yesterday, News came out that a hard drive purportedly belonging to Hunter “Hoovernose” Biden had been in the hands of the FBI since last December, and that it contained evidence that Hovernose’s father, the senile pedophile, Dementia Joe Biden had used his position ad Vice President to aid and protect Burisma.
I posted about the story, broken by the New York Post, yesterday, (October 14th). (I saw it and referred to Fox News in my post) The Progressive Liberal Democratic CommuNazi Propaganda Corps, formally called the Main Stream Media, has been studiously ignoring the story, their goal being to flush it down the memory hole.
As you would expect, the New York Post also put links to their story in their twitter feed as well as on Facebook and other social media platforms. This is where the problems began. Almost immediately, Twitter blocked the posting and locked the New York Post from their Twitter account. Facebook began limiting the spread of the damaging story as well. Conservative individuals and organizations also found themselves either locked out of their accounts or severely restricted, including the White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
Ms. McEnany was flat out ordered by Twitter to delete her posting of the New York Post story or she would not be allowed on the platform. They used, as their excuse, that she had posted “Hacked” material. (The information from the hard drive) The problem with that, is it’s a lie. The shop owner who was trying to repair the damaged laptops that were given to him was not able to reach the person who brought them in for repair. (He believes it was Hoovernose, but won’t swear to it) After a set period, it became abandoned property and he took ownership.
Then we have Faceplant Facebook. They have decided to limit the spread of the bombshell report on their platform. They are using their phony baloney “Fact Checkers” to put up blocks on the story. According to the Daily Wire:
“While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want be clear that this story is eligible to be fact checked by Facebook’s third-party fact checking partners. In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform,” Facebook spokesman Andy Stone tweeted on Wednesday hours after the story broke. “This is part of our standard process to reduce the spread of misinformation. We temporarily reduce distribution pending fact-checker review.”
The social media company said that restricting the story’s spread on its platform is part of its standard fact-checking process used on some news article to limit “misinformation.” Such fact-checks may take as long as a week to complete before Facebook decides whether to lift restrictions.
The House Judiciary Committee’s GOP twitter account decided to challenge Twitter’s actions by posting the link themselves. As of the writing of this post, the tweet is still up and has been shared some 39,000 times. I suspect that Twitter is getting very worried now, and that is the only reason they haven’t shut that feed down as well.
That the Tech Giants are flat out helping the Democrats is not news of course. What is new is that many people, on both sides of the political aisle are thinking that it’s becoming time to deal with these corporations in much the same manner that the government handled Standard Oil a century ago, by hitting them with antitrust suits and braking them up.
There is also talk of stripping Facebook and Twitter of their Section 230 protections. Since they have basically tossed any thoughts of neutrality out the window, and are now actively censoring, the thinking is that they are publishers and should be made liable for their content. This would allow both governmental and citizen lawsuits against them, and considering their actions of late, the potential judgments would break them as companies.
There is also a good chance that the CEO’s/Founders of Twitter and Facebook might actually be looking at potential criminal charges. Both Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg have testified under oath to Congress. There are serious questions regarding the truthfulness of their testimony.
I suspect that after the reelection President Trump, the hammer is going to come down on these companies and those running them. Their only hope, (And this also includes Google), is that Dementia Joe and Heels Up Harris win and the Democratic CommuNazis take control of all branches of government. If the election goes against them, well, I don’t think that Dorsey and Zuckerberg will like their potential new suits. Orange isn’t that flattering a color after all.
