Good day all. There are a large number of doctors and scientists who disagree with the way the China Virus has been handled, including making people wear masks. Many have posted on blogs, and socialist media explaining their views in a calm manner, then have been banned by the very same platforms for wrongthink.
Now we have another case and this one is a lot more serious. The State of Oregon has suspended the medical license of a doctor who said people should take off their masks. Here are the details from the Washington Times:
An Oregon doctor had his medical license suspended after making anti-mask comments at a pro-President Trump rally. Dr. Steven LaTulippe, an Air Force veteran and owner of South View Medical Arts in Dallas, addressed a “Stop the Steal” rally at the Oregon State Capitol on Nov. 7, telling protesters that he and his staff had not been wearing masks in his clinic during the coronavirus pandemic.
“I want to expose what I call ‘corona-mania,’” Dr. LaTulippe said at the rally. “I wanted you to know that I never shut down during the entire COVID season, from the time it was declared to now. I hate to tell you this — it might scare you, but I and my staff, none of us — once — wore a mask in my clinic. Not once. Any how many problems did we have in our clinic from that? Zero. Absolutely none.”
“I petition all of you: Please take off the mask of shame,” he continued. “It is a mask that is just designed to control you and shut you down.”

And this pissed off the totalitarian left no end. How dare this person tell people to ignore the diktats of their betters! Well, they took action against this upstart.
The Oregon Medical Board voted Thursday to immediately suspend Dr. LaTulippe’s license “due to the Board’s concern for the safety and welfare of Licensee’s current and future patients,” it now states on the doctor’s license information, the Statesman Journal reported.
Doctor LaTulippe stated that he has no regrets over his statements, but if I were him, I would make the medical board have major regrets over their actions. This has the appearance of punishing someone for voicing their opinions, a clear violation of the 1st Amendment. Since the State medical board is a government agency, they are bound by the constitution. I hope that he gets a good lawyer and sues the pants off the state medical board, both to have his suspension lifted, for loss of income and punitive damages for willfully violating his 1st Amendment right of free speech.
