Good day all. One of the first things any totalitarian power does is rewrite history to denigrate the opponents of the regime. Something like this has no place in a free society that values different opinions. The problem is, the United States is now under the thumb of Progressive Liberal Fascist Totalitarians who are utterly intolerant of any ideas not their own.
Now we have a member of Congress calling for a “Truth Commission” to suppress ideas she considers extreme. Here are the details from The Blaze:
Earlier this month, the New York Times published a story saying “experts” suggested that President Joe Biden’s administration should set up a “truth commission” and appoint a “reality czar” to battle “disinformation and domestic extremism.”
The New York Slimes long ago gave up any claim to being an actual source of information and is now just the American version of the old Soviet Union’s “Paper of record” Pravda.
Now a Democratic congresswoman also is touting a “truth commission.”
Freshman U.S. Rep. Sara Jacobs on Sunday told CNN’s Brian Stelter on his “Reliable Sources” program that we need a “truth commission” to put down “extremist ideology” so Americans can all have a “common narrative” about what is true and what isn’t.
I looked up this Communist and as expected, she is just another rich, spoiled Limousine Liberal. She has never done an honest day’s work in her life and has no idea about the country she is allegedly representing.
Before her “truth commission” declaration, Jacobs defined an “extremist” as one who’s “unable to take in competing ideas and reflect the truth.”
Have you looked in a mirror lately Comrade Jacobs? You just admitted that you are an extremist. Should we prepare a nice cell for you in the Gulag?
Not that such a condition isn’t an issue with the left, but whatever — Stelter seemed to enthusiastically agree with her take.
Brian Stelter is another Progressive totalitarian scumbag who would make Josef Goebbels proud.
Jacobs added that extremists believe their “sense of identity” is being threatened and lack “critical thinking skills” — and have this oh-so-problematic access to “common social networks” with those who share their views.
Oh we can’t have that now, can we? No, only the “Approved” platforms will be permitted and only the “approved” speech and ideas allowed to be heard.
Stelter seemed to love what he was hearing. After all, a few weeks back he said he wanted the influence of “liar” Fox News reduced — and yet claimed his wish somehow wasn’t “censorship.”
Stelter has been trying to get Fox shut down for a while now. Never mind that Fox has “Jumped the Shark” as it were and has lost a huge number of viewers since they got all Woke and all during and after the election.
So he took Jacobs words farther, invoking problems such as the “impact of cellphones and this constant connectivity, social networks and far-right television networks” — all of which are “fueling a fire” of extremism.
Oh I think I can see where this might be going.
Jacobs replied by saying “we know the violence on [Jan. 6] was predicated on the idea of the ‘big lie’ — the fact that this election was stolen despite the fact that Donald Trump’s own Department of Homeland Security says it was not. You need to be able to perpetuate that kind of lie in order to get the kinds of reactions that you did. I think we need to look at far-right media — which I know, Brian, you have been such a leader on calling out — and also the role of social media and the whole ecosystem of social media where the kinds of information and the kinds of posts that get the biggest reactions are the ones that are prioritized by their algorithms.”
The “Big Lie” is actually coming from liars like Stelter. There has been no actual investigations into the sudden, mysterious, middle of the night delivery of ballots with only Dementia Joe’s name checked off, no explorations into how voting machines were switching votes FROM President Trump to Dementia Joe, or how many states violated their own election laws. If you are so certain that you’re right Comrade Stelter, then do an honest, complete audit and show everyone that Dementia Joe actually did win fair and square.
Soon Stelter added that for the United States “it’s about a ‘whitelash,’ about a white Christian America reaction, backlash, to a changing country personified by Trump. But … none of this is going away now, even though the [second impeachment] trial is over and even though one phase of Trumpism is over. You also said in an interview with the 19th News website this week that the country needs a truth commission. What exactly would a truth commission be?”
And here we have the usual White Liberal Racism rearing it’s ugly face. Progressives, especially white progressives are some of the biggest racists around. This bigot just denigrated Christians and Normal People who happen to have, light colored skin. Oh, and what about those who aren’t of northern European decent who also happen to be Christians and think that President Trump was the real winner? (I know, they don’t count)
Jacobs explains what her ‘truth commission’ would look like
“Because we haven’t really done the reckoning with the racial injustice and white supremacy of our past that we need to do,” Jacobs replied. “And so … a truth commission — a lot of people will think of South Africa — we’ve used them in countries around the world. And basically … it’s communities all the way up to the national level having conversations about both the gory and the glory of our history and what happened — both throughout the history of our country and leading up to and on January 6 — so that we can come to a common narrative, moving forward, of what we want our country to be.”
Oh great, another moonbat who thinks that South Africa is the perfect model to follow. For those who may not know, the now safely dead Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsberg once admitted that she didn’t like the United States constitution and have preferred to have the South African constitution. Bader-Ginsberg should have resigned when she said that or been impeached.
As for that CommuNazi bitch Jacobs, you can take your Big Brother attitude, resign your seat and move to a country that is more in tune with your political outlook. Might I suggest North Korea? Cuba? (They have nicer weather) How about Venezuela? You certainly don’t consider yourself an American. Please leave and take that Cockwomble, Brian Stelter with you.
