Good day all. The CDC has once again decided that they know what’s best and is ordering everyone to wear masks again. The problem is that people are telling the CDC “Hell NO!” It isn’t just individuals, it’s also state governments saying no to the latest idiocy from the CDC bureaucrats. One person who rubbed her paws in anticipation was Speaker of the House, San Fran Nan.
As soon as the Faucists from the CDC issued their recommendation, that tyrant ordered everyone to wear masks. Then she decided to top that by ordering her armed thugs, the Capitol Police to arrest anyone who wasn’t wearing a mask. Here are the details from Fox News:
U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) were ordered to arrest visitors and staff who refuse to wear a mask on the House side of the Capitol complex, according to a police memo issued by new USCP Chief Thomas Manger that was obtained by a member of Congress.
Police were also advised not to arrest members of Congress for failing to wear masks but to report the lawmakers’ noncompliance to the House sergeant-at-arms, the memo says. House members have been subjected to fines starting at $500 for skirting mask rules.
The Capitol Police can’t arrest a member of congress for a simple reason. It would be interfering with that representatives duties and is not permitted under the constitution. (The Constitution is fairly clear on when a member of Congress can be arrested, and not wearing a mask isn’t on the list)
Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Fla., got a copy of the memo distributed at Thursday’s morning roll call from an unnamed police officer, she told Fox News. Police she’s spoken to are “very uncomfortable” with this new directive that Cammack describes as “tyrannical.”
“This is such an overstep of Speaker Pelosi’s authority to basically make our Capitol Police arrest staff members and report on members [of Congress],” Cammack told Fox News Thursday. “It’s absolutely unconscionable that this is where we’re at.”
San Fran Nan is flat out of control. She was almost this bad the last time she had her wrinkly ass in the Speakers chair, and now she’s doubling down. She has nothing but contempt for the Rule of Law or the Constitution of the United States. Basically, she sees herself as Der Fuhrer without the mustache. However, it looks like the Stuttering Thundercunt may have finally gone to far. In a followup article on Fox News:
Dozens of House Republicans and their staffers marched maskless out of the House to the Senate floor in protest of the new mask mandate for the lower chamber. The lawmakers and their staffers traveled across the Capitol on Thursday to protest the fact that Capitol Police have instructed officers to arrest staffers and visitors who don’t wear masks and refuse to leave the House.
Representative Madison Cawthorn told Fox News in a Thursday statement that the Republicans who left the House chamber to protest the mask mandate “took a firm stance on individual liberty.”
“Congressman Roy said it succinctly on the House floor Wednesday: ‘We have a crisis at our border and we’re playing footsie with mask mandates in the people’s house,’” a Roy spokesperson told Fox News in an email.
“The fact that Speaker Pelosi is willing to have vaccinated staffers arrested for not complying with her mask mandate while the border remains wide open tells you all you need to know,” they continued. “This isn’t about science. It’s about politics and control.”
Of course it is. It always was. San Fran Nan is a power mad bitch and always has been. In case you have forgotten, Pelosi shoved through Obama care with the phrase, We have to pass it in order to know what is in it.” We have been dealing with that disaster ever since. Now it looks like the Capitol Police have “Seen the light” and are pulling back on their threats. In a report in Newsmax, the Capitol Police have changed what passed for their minds:
Despite Capitol Police Chief Thomas Manger ordering officers to report House members not abiding by a mask mandate, the office issued a statement later Thursday backing down on the threat of arrest right about the time Congress passed $71 million in new funding for the force.
The U.S. Capitol Police tweeted a statement:
“Regarding the House mask rule, there is no reason it should ever come to someone being arrested. Anyone who does not follow the rule will be asked to wear a mask or leave the premises. The department’s requirement for officers to wear masks is for their health and safety.”
Manger was named the new chief of the Capitol Police just last week, and he had warned members of Congress would be subject to arrest for unlawful entry under DC Code 22-3302.
I looked up that statute and I have some serious constitutional questions regarding it. Still, any attempt to arrest a sitting member of congress as he or she goes about their duties as a representative is, as I mentioned earlier, flat out violating the Constitution of the United States, specifically Article I, Section 6, Clause 1:
The Senators and Representatives shall receive a Compensation for their Services, to be ascertained by Law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States. They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.
Now there are arguments that this section is obsolete, and doesn’t cover criminal cases. However, Pelosi’s edicts do not have the power of law since they have not been voted on by both houses of congress and signed into law by the President. I suspect this is one of the reasons the Capitol Police are pulling back.
The simple fact is, Pelosi needs to be removed from the Speakership of the House of Representatives. By rights, after her disastrous last term as speaker, where her actions cost the Communazis almost 80 seats, she should have been forced to retire. If 2022 goes the way people hope, the house will flip again and when it does, there is a good chance that this time, Pelosi will be removed from all leadership positions and invited to retire from public life. Of course, this is the Communazi party. Common sense and is not strong among them.
