Good day all. Senator Joe Manchin is an interesting person. He is a Democrat representing a very red state, West Virginia. As such, he has to actually pay attention to the will of his constituents or he will be out in the snow. Because of the one vote majority in the Senate, this puts him in a bit of a pickle.
The Democratic Communazi party demands absolute and total obedience to the Central Powers, and those powers care not one whit for the American people or what they want. Since Manchin likes being in the Senate, he decided to listen to the voters and announced he wouldn’t support president Bumbles Dementia’s socialist spending program called Build Back Better Broke. Now the Progressive “Commentators” are screaming that his refusal to bend to their will is “The end of Democracy!” Here are the details from Fox News:
Some liberal media commentators predicted Sunday that West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin’s vote against President Biden’s Build Back Better plan could very well spell the end of democracy.
Over the weekend, Senator Manchin announced that he couldn’t support the “Build Back Better Broke spending bill. The main reason being that it would be an economic disaster. One of the details not covered by the Communazi Propaganda Corps was the complete shutdown of ALL offshore oil production. Basically, all the rigs would have to close down. That would have been a gift to OPEC and the Russians at the expense of the American People.
“I’ve always said this, Bret: if I can’t go home and explain to the people of West Virginia, I can’t vote for it,” Manchin told guest host Bret Baier. “And I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. I just can’t. I’ve tried everything humanly possible. I can’t get there.”
It helps that the overwhelming majority of voters in West Virginia flat out rejected the Build Back Broke plan and despise President Bumbles Dementia. Frankly, that it took Manchin this long to say no doesn’t say much about his listening to his constituents.
Liberal media and progressive politicians immediately attacked Manchin for his position, including his colleague Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., who accused Manchin of being beholden to pharmaceutical companies. Others called the decision “devastating,” while ABC’s “This Week” panel showed visual disappointment at the news.
However, there were also several consistent predictions that Manchin’s decision could herald the end of democracy as they knew it.
Considering that the Democratic Communazis ideas on what democracy actually is, this isn’t surprising. However, it should be rather entertaining.
MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan tweeted out “What’s worse – that Manchin is killing the Biden legislative agenda, and perhaps the future of American democracy too, or that he wasted most of this year dragging this whole thing out to do it *and* wasted half of the time that Dems control Congress and the White House.”
Killing the Meat Puppet’s agenda? That sounds like a great idea to me! As for Democracy, well, there are a few things to consider. The United States isn’t a democracy to begin with, we’re a Republic. Manchin represents the people of the state of West Virginia and other than the idiots running the Miners Union, they don’t want that load of manure that is laughingly titles “Build Back better.” However, please continue with your flaming Progressive idiocies.
In a largely mocked tweet, The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin wrote “If Manchin is no on both BBB and voting, Biden is done. Democracy is hanging by a thread. Hard to think of anyone more destructive.”
In an appearance on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” journalist Carl Bernstein also implied that Manchin’s vote could drastically affect American democracy in his refusal to eliminate the filibuster rule in the Senate.
“And this also goes into the question of voting rights because unless there’s something that can be done about the filibuster rule in the Senate which Manchin again has indicated he will not change, there is not going to be an effective legislative means of doing what needs to be done to guarantee American democracy through the right to vote for all Americans without being suppressed as we’re seeing now,” Bernstein said.
It just goes on and on and on. The stupidity and delusions of the left is a sight to behold. Basically, they are throwing a collective(ist) temper tantrum because they didn’t get to institute a soviet style command economy and completely trash the economic well being of all those evil, corrupt, racist deplorable Trump people.
They fail to understand that in a Republic, the rights of the minority are protected, and that the majority doesn’t always get what they want. The remarks, not to mention flat out threats from the Communazi Central Committee as well as their rank and file are pushing Manchin to consider bolting the party.
Cocaine Mitch McConnell has said he would be welcome in the Republican party, however I don’t think Manchin will take that step. He’s more likely to become an independent if he flees the Democratic Communazi party. The fun part will be who the Majority leader will be.
Would it be Cocaine Mitch or they ever so sleazy UpChuck Schumer? That will be a very entertaining fight. There is also the midterm elections to consider. It’s beginning to look like a political massacre is in the offing with the loss of dozens of seats, both in the house and senate, for the Communazi Party. When and if this occurs, then the Socialist Agenda of President Bumbles Dementia and his handlers is over, and the actual investigations will begin. I need popcorn.
