Good day all. One of the tools used to treat people who have contracted The Fauci/China virus is something called Monoclonal antibody therapy. I will state that I have little knowledge of how this therapy works, but it apparently works very well. This has led to supply issues, and, surprising no one, The Maladministration of President Bumbles Dementia has made it a lot worse.
The drug companies have been manufacturing the medications for this therapy for a while now. Up until recently, it was generally available to the states. However, things started changing a few months back when Texas and Florida were denied any shipments of these life saving therapies. Now Governor DeSantis is going after Dementia Joe Biden. Here are the details from Fox News:
Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., called for the Biden administration to allow his state to obtain more monoclonal antibody treatments as it encounters the omicron variant of COVID-19.
“We’re past the point now where we’re able to get it directly from any of these companies,” DeSantis said during a press conference on Monday.
There is a reason why the states are unable to purchase these treatments, and that reason is right out of the Socialist/Fascist playbook.
“The federal government has cornered the entire market. They basically took control of the supply in September.”
I smell a very large and stinky rat here. Why the Hell did the Maladministration seize all these treatments? It certainly wasn’t to insure that the states all got what they needed.
DeSantis noted that the administration had stopped sending both Regeneron and Eli Lily monoclonal antibody treatments. The department later said it would allow states to order those products from HHS.
Well, that obviously hasn’t happened, and the State of Florida, which has a high percentage of older Americans who tend to be susceptible to the Fauci/China Virus, has been complaining about this for a while.
The governor’s press conference came nearly a week after his surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, sent U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra a letter requesting the federal government restore distribution of monoclonal antibodies treatments to the state.
The letter was nothing less then a flat out accusation that Becerra was intentionally blocking any shipments of the treatments to Florida for political reasons.
“The federal government is actively preventing the effective distribution of monoclonal antibody treatments in the U.S.,” Ladapo wrote. “The sudden suspension of multiple monoclonal antibody therapy treatments from distribution to Florida removes a health care provider’s ability to decide the best treatment options for their patients in this state.”
As Ladapo’s letter noted, HHS said in September that it would determine state-by-state distribution of certain drugs. An official reportedly said the move would “help maintain equitable distribution, both geographically and temporally, across the country.”
Ahh yes, the standard “The Central Government knows what is best for all. We will determine what YOU should have.” What this has done is throw politics into the mix. Xavier Becerra, as Attorney General of Kalifornistan, was notorious for flat out ignoring the Constitution.
When he was nominated for the position of Secretary of Health and Human Services, many questioned why. He has no experience in the health field and has never administered a large bureaucracy. It’s now becoming obvious why this thug was put in charge. He is going to use his position to punish successful Republican governors for daring to stand up to the commands of the Central Committee Biden Administration.
Now these treatments may not be needed for those who contract the Omicron variant of the Fauci/China virus. To date, it has proven to be very mild and, apparently, is also providing immunity to all the variants out there. However, there are still people getting the original Wuhan Flu as well as the “Delta” variants and they would benefit from these treatments.
As far as I’m concerned, if one single person dies who could have been saved with this treatment, then the State of Florida should begin a criminal investigation, and it should be aimed like a guided missile at that hack running the HHS, Xavier Becerra. I would like nothing better than to see one of Bumbles Dementia’s indicted on charges of murder. I do believe that Florida still does execute murderers. (I believe the condemned are offered the choice of “Regular or extra crispy.”)
