Good day all. No sooner do I finish working on a post regarding Progressives threats to Primary West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, then he turns around and starts giving UpChuck Schumer blow jobs, promising to support the latest version of the Build Back Broke bill.
Manchin is a very rare creature in the Senate. A Democrat from a very red, Republican state. He’s been able to hold on to his seat by pretending to care about his constituents and, on occasion, actually doing something that does help them. Most of the time, he’s all in on the usual Progressive garbage, and is firmly in the pocket of Big Pharma. (His daughter works for one of them) Now he has announced that he is “On Board” with the fiscal disaster moving through congress. Here are the details from Fox News:
Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., announced Wednesday that he came to an agreement with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on a reconciliation bill, after more than a year of negotiations among Democrats.
Manchin frustrated Democrats for months, consistently refusing to support party-line legislation that at one point Democrats wanted to cost over $3 trillion. Democrats termed that legislation “Build Back Better,” and Manchin shut down negotiations on it late last year.
But with Democrats grasping for a legislative win ahead of the midterms, Schumer, D-N.Y., kept up talks directly with Manchin through the spring and summer. In a lengthy statement, the moderate senator said Wednesday those talks resulted in a deal for a slimmed-down bill that includes tax, climate and prescription drug provisions.
And there is the bribe. Promising Manchin, through his daughter, a cut of the money from Big Pharma. One of the few things this two-faced slimy swamp dweller did right was shutting down the disaster that was Biden’s and the progressive’s Build Back Broke spending program. Now he’s signed on to a slightly smaller and yet just as destructive version.
We’re already seeing the inflationary issues that were caused by the last, and unneeded Covid “Stimulus” from early on in the Bumbles Dementia regime. This is going to make things a lot worse, and it isn’t beyond the realm of possibility, it could trigger an actual hyperinflationary period. Instead of 10 percent inflation, think 50 to 100 percent each month.
“For too long, the reconciliation debate in Washington has been defined by how it can help advance Democrats political agenda called Build Back Better,” Manchin said. “Build Back Better is dead, and instead we have the opportunity to make our country stronger by bringing Americans together.”
Democrats are using a process called budget reconciliation to advance the legislation, which allows them to get around the Senate filibuster with just 50 votes. As long as all Democrats avoid catching COVID-19 and are present and able to vote for the bill, they likely have the votes to get the legislation across the finish line.
One question is Sinema from Arizona. She is also been looking at the numbers, both monetary and her own poll numbers back in Arizona. If she votes for this monstrosity, she’s done for sure. As it is, she is probably going to lose her seat in November, unless the Democrats cheat again.
Manchin said in his statement that the bill will have a minimum 15% tax on companies worth more than $1 billion and invests in several forms of energy, including fossil fuel, nuclear and renewables. This is on top of agreements Democrats previously came to on prescription drugs and extending subsidies included in the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
That tax rate is going to crash the economy. The 15 percent minimum tax is something the Globalists, such as Janet Yellen, have been pushing for years. Watch corporations start moving out of the United States again and heading to countries that aren’t going to put up with this “Global Minimum Tax” nonsense. You will also see major retrenchment and layoffs, not to mention flat out bankruptcies that will drive the economy even deeper into recession/depression.
Republicans, meanwhile, criticized the deal, which was announced just hours after the Senate passed a bill on competition with China. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., had threatened to kill the China bill if Democrats continued to move forward with reconciliation.
Once again, Cocaine Mitch was sandbagged by the Democrats. Now he and the other RINO’s are going to be seen for what they have always been. Failures. At least Cocaine Mitch talks a good game.
“Senate Democrats can change the name of Build Back Broke as many times as they want, it won’t be any less devastating to American families and small businesses,,” Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, said. “Raising taxes on job creators, crushing energy producers with new regulations, and stifling innovators looking for new cures will only make this recession worse, not better.”
“With inflation at a 41-year high and a looming recession, Democrats want higher taxes, more government spending, and to attack American energy,” Senate GOP Conference Chair John Barrasso, R-Wyo., added. “So much for helping American families.”
The goal of the Progressive Liberal Democratic Communazi Party has always been the complete collapse of the United States. They see this as a good thing since it will allow them to get rid of the Constitution, freedom and institute the Socialist, Totalitarian country they’ve always wanted. They will also re-institute slavery, although they will call it something else.
This all ties in with the sneaky vote to outlaw all semi-automatic firearms that was passed Friday in the House. Never mind that it will be defeated in the Senate. Even if they somehow sneak it through there, it’s so blatantly unconstitutional that the courts will have to issue injunctions. It just shows what the Democrats want. A population of sheep they can abuse.
Manchin has once again lied to the voters in West Virginia. He is not up for reelection until 2024. If the economy does implode, look to West Virginia to be especially hard hit. Manchin will be lucky if he isn’t ridden out of the state on a rail. As it is, he needs a good opponent who will point out to the voters that he is wholly owned by Big Pharma and a flat out liar. To the good people of West Virginia, come 2024, you know what to do.
