Cocaine Mitch trying to sabotage GOP midterm elections

Good day all. The midterm elections are looking better and better for the Republican Party, specifically for the Ultra MAGA Deplorable Trump supporting Bitter clingers. What it isn’t looking good for, besides the Democrats, is the GOP(e) RINO’s, TransRepublicans, Globalists and the Uniparty. This has the Senate Minority Leader, Cocaine Mitch McConnell, saying that there is a chance that the Republicans might not take the Senate.

McConnell is more than likely, completely wrong. He is a deeply entrenched member of the Deep State Uniparty and is part Bush/Cheney wing of the GOP. That wing has been clipped off by the President Trump. With Liz Cheney’s crushing defeat, Cocaine Mitch sees a threat to his own power and privilege. This is why he would be fine with the Republicans not regaining control of the Senate. Here are some details from the Washington Examiner:

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) expressed doubt that the Republican Party could gain a majority in the upper chamber in the midterm elections.

He cited “candidate quality” as a reason the GOP could struggle as it hopes to flip several swing seats and ward off Democratic bids for vulnerable Republican seats.

And there it is. His idea of “Candidate Quality” is to restore the Bush/Cheney Globalist agenda, one that considers America to be not all that important other then as a source of money and troops for one of the neocons little wars. The problem with that is the Republican Base, and frankly, most of America is not on board with that agenda.

“I think there’s probably a greater likelihood the House flips than the Senate,” McConnell said Thursday, according to NBC News. “Senate races are just different. They’re statewide. Candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome.”

Do you know what I think? Cocaine Mitch is running scared. He saw how the Republican base flat out ignored Jeb! “Please Clap” Bush and the other establishment candidates and went with the true outsider that he and the rest of the GOP(e) couldn’t control. Donald Trump. When he won the election, it sent shock waves through the GOP Country Club set.

McConnell has repeatedly butted heads with former President Donald Trump, and some took his mention of “candidate quality” as a knock on Trump’s hand-picked candidates in several crucial races.

President Trump’s candidates have done exceptionally well. Cocaine Mitch’s have been going down in flames. Of the Republican 10 House members who voted for the bogus impeachment, only two will be returning. Lizard Cheney, who McConnell supported, was crushed like the cockroach she is. On the Senate side. One of the RINO sisters, Lisa Murkowski, is hanging on by the skin of her teeth. Only the fact that Alaska was stupid enough to implement the “Ranked Choice” system has kept her at all viable.

The former president’s picks in Pennsylvania and Georgia are down in the polls. Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Republican Trump-backed nominee in Pennsylvania, is trailing his Democratic opponent, Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, by an average of 11 percentage points in the polls, while former NFL player Herschel Walker, Trump’s pick in Georgia, has been plagued by missteps and scandals.

Frankly, I think President Trump may have made a mistake with Oz, but then, no one is perfect. I haven’t been following the Georgia race so I have no idea what’s going on. However, I don’t put much stock in polls these days. As for McConnell, instead of working with these candidates to try and get them up to speed, he’s actually hoping the lose.

McConnell has been cautious about heralding a red wave before it comes. In April, he remarked that although the political environment looked like a “perfect storm” of problems for Democrats, it was “actually possible” that Republicans could “screw this up.”

In the Senate, if you look at where we have to compete in order to get into a majority, there are places that are competitive in the general election,” McConnell said. “So, you can’t nominate somebody who’s just sort of unacceptable to a broader group of people and win. We had that experience in 2010 and 2012.”

Ahh yes, the Tea Party. Why don’t you talk about how you worked with Obama to sic the IRS on these groups? These were the precursor to today’s “Ultra MAGA” Republican base. Those groups thought the GOP would actually work with them to mitigate the damage by Obama. They never reckoned with the outright betrayal by Cocaine Mitch and the John McCain McSlime Republicans. This group has learned it’s lessons.

Republicans need to net at least one seat to break the 50-50 partisan split in the Senate that gives Vice President Kamala Harris the tiebreaking vote, a battle in which the GOP must simultaneously defend the vulnerable Republican senators up for reelection.

And frankly, Cocaine Mitch aside, there is a good chance that the Republicans will retake the Senate as well as the House. Of course, the Democrats are going to do their usual democrat thing.

We are just beginning to communicate about the deep flaws that their roster of candidates brings to these races,” David Bergstein, the spokesman for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, said last week. “Their personal and political vulnerabilities are going to continue to be a centerpiece of these Senate campaigns in the months ahead.”

Yeah, that’s a two way street there bub, and you aren’t taking into account the rage of the voters. All the Democrats can promise is more of the same. Escalating crime rates, increasing inflation and a government that puts America Last, not first the way they should.

Mitch McConnell has another reason to throw the election. If the Republicans do take the Senate, the people coming in will be aligned with the ideas of President Trump and NOT Mitch McConnell. When McConnell runs internally to be the Majority leader, there is a fair chance he could lose and be replaced by one of President Trump’s supporters.

Cocaine Mitch is not due to run again until 2026, and he will be well into his 80’s then. He may not run for reelection, and if he does, he could also lose his primary. The only reason he won in 2020 was the support of President Trump. McConnell is a backstabber and untrustworthy. His only hope of keeping any of his authority is if the Republican Party fails to win the senate.

This is highly unlikely especially with the Mar-a-Lago Smash and Grab raid by the FBI. This hasn’t just energized the Republican base, it has enraged them. It’s also angered the Independents that both parties need to win elections. Add to this parents who have been threatened by the DoJ for daring to question the Education Elite’s ideas, and you have the perfect storm.

McConnell’s wing of the Republican party is dying out, and like any dinosaur, he doesn’t understand that the asteroid is just seconds away from impact. Frankly, he should just step aside from the leadership in 2023 and act as the “Elder Statesman” for the new Republican majority. He won’t of course. He would rather take everything down rather then give up his privileges. So sad.
