Good day all. With all the news regarding the Twitter Files, a few other things have been popping up that aren’t being covered. The latest is the remarks from the useless fraud from Utah, Mittens Romney.
He has announced that he thinks it’s a waste of time investigating Hunter “Hoovernose” Biden and the potential criminal actions of him and his senile old man, President* Big Guy Biden. Here are the details from the Political Insider:
Senator Mitt Romney is voicing opposition to Republican investigations into Hunter Biden, describing such affairs as a “waste of time.”
Romney (R-UT) ran to his fellow faux conservatives at The Bulwark to make his position known. The outlet, which described the younger Biden, currently identified by federal agents as having enough evidence to charge him with multiple crimes, as little more than a “political bugbear,” notes that Romney is the only GOP lawmaker to break with his party on the matter.
First, I have heard of the Bulwark, but until I started working on this post, I haven’t bothered visiting them. A minute or so glancing at the home page and I can see why I never bothered with them. Second, Romney is not a Republican and never has been. He is a Democrat who identifies as a Republican, but is still a Democrat. He always backs the Democrat and Uniparty globalist positions.
“I think it’s really hard to know what the politics of a course of action might be in this day and age, to know where our party stands, what our base wants, what independent voters want,” Romney said.
“But I think you have to do what you think is right and I think the American people want us to tackle some of the big challenges we have—immigration, inflation, and so forth—and the other things that divert from those priorities I think are a waste of time.”
Waste of time? We have the most incompetent President* in American history in office, one who actually did all the things that Romney and the other Democrats accused the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump of doing. I wonder how big his cut of the action was, or is it that the Biden Crime Family has something on this useless fraud?
The writer of the article, Rusty Weiss, added some commentary regarding how Romney was all in favor of the January 6th kangaroo committee, which is an actual waste of money. Weiss then commented on Pelosi’s impeachment attempts of President Trump.
Romney, of course, also defended Nancy Pelosi after she initiated the first impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, something even Democrat Representative Jerry Nadler (NY) called “unconstitutional.”
“She’s able to do what she feels is right. That’s up to her,” Romney said in defending Pelosi at the time. “At this stage, the process is to continue to gather information but clearly what we’ve seen from the transcript itself is deeply troubling.”
That was in regards to a phone call President Trump had with the then president of the Ukraine. As we now know, it was Dementia Joe Biden, when he was Vice President under the Second Worst President in American History, Barack Obama, who used his office to strong arm the Ukraine into dropping an investigation into his boy, Hoovernose.
Romney has been seemingly protecting Hunter Biden from being dragged into investigatory avenues before. In March of 2020, the Washington Post reported that Romney was poised to join Democrats and vote to squash a subpoena related to Hunter Biden’s work with the Ukrainian energy company, Burisma Holdings. Though he later relented, his reasoning sounded awfully familiar.
“I would prefer that investigations are done by an independent, non-political body,” he claimed. “There’s no question the appearance is not good.”
Romney went on to tell reporters that the investigation “appears political.”
“I think people are tired of these kinds of political investigations.”
Romney is scum. He is probably going to be a one term senator. He flat out lied to the people of Utah when he ran for the Senate and conned the Republican Party leadership in Utah. From what I’ve been reading and hearing from people who live in Utah, Romney is probably toast. I suspect that his hesitancy to investigate actual crimes is more along the lines of self interest then anything else. I wonder just what they have on this useless liar? In any case, it was Romney that gave me the idea for the term “TransRepublican” and he has been living down to it ever since.
