FBI Denies monitoring Trump supporters

Good day all. This story came out the other day. There was a report that the FBI was targeting Trump supporters ahead of the 2024 election.

The initial story came from that bastion of right wing thinking, Newsweek. In an exclusive story, Newsweek reported Wednesday, October 4^th that the FBI considers millions of Trump supporters to be potential domestic terrorists. Here are those details from Newsweek:

The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump‘s army of MAGA followers.

The challenge for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the primary federal agency charged with law enforcement, is to pursue and prevent what it calls domestic terrorism without direct reference to political parties or affiliations—even though the vast majority of its current “anti-government” investigations are of Trump supporters, according to classified data obtained by Newsweek.

The FBI as an agency needs to be disbanded and most of it’s personnel laid off. They are no longer a law enforcement agency and haven’t been one for decades. There are some, perhaps one to five percent who are good investigators, (The ones going after human traffickers, particularly those selling children) The rest? Enjoy unemployment.

“The FBI is in an almost impossible position,” says a current FBI official, who requested anonymity to discuss highly sensitive internal matters. The official said that the FBI is intent on stopping domestic terrorism and any repeat of the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. But the Bureau must also preserve the Constitutional right of all Americans to campaign, speak freely and protest the government. By focusing on former president Trump and his MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters, the official said, the Bureau runs the risk of provoking the very anti-government activists that the terrorism agencies hope to counter.

“Especially at a time when the White House is facing Congressional Republican opposition claiming that the Biden administration has ‘weaponized’ the Bureau against the right wing, it has to tread very carefully,” says the official.

I think we might have one of the few “Officials” who might actually have a clue. He or she understands that people think the FBI has gone way off the reservation, as it were. This is why a significant percentage of Americans, (I’ve seen it as high as 50+ percent), think the FBI should be disbanded. This story from Newsweek indicating that they’re now considering all the people who support the “Greatest President of the 21^st Century, Donald Trump, to be potential domestic terrorists is not helping them.

Newsweek spoke to over a dozen current or former government officials who specialize in terrorism in a three-month investigation to understand the current domestic-security landscape and to evaluate what President Joe Biden‘s administration is doing about what it calls domestic terrorism.

The first thing you need to do is report on who Dementia Joe and the Democrats have determined are Domestic Terrorists. The short answer is, anyone who doesn’t support Joe Biden and the Progressive Liberal Democrat Groomer agenda, which is more then half the country. (f you want to go with geography, you narrow it down to anyone not living in a Democrat controlled city or state)

While experts agree that the current partisan environment is charged and uniquely dangerous (with the threat not only of violence but, in the most extreme scenarios, possibly civil war), many also question whether “terrorism” is the most effective way to describe the problem, or that the methods of counterterrorism developed over the past decade in response to Al-Qaeda and other Islamist groups constitute the most fruitful way to craft domestic solutions.

Again, the KISS answer, (Keep It Simple Stupid), is no. What the maladministration is doing is exactly what you do if you want to start a civil war, not prevent it.

“The current political environment is not something that the FBI is necessarily responsible for, nor should it be,” says Brian Michael Jenkins, one of the world’s leading terrorism experts and senior adviser to the president of the RAND Corporation.

Yeah, you might want to rethink that Bub. The FBI is very much partially responsible for the current political situation and their continued threats against people, the theft of their property in bogus asset forfeitures, sending raid teams to terrorize people who haven’t done anything wrong will, eventually lead to something really bad happening.

You might also consider what the FBI tried to do when Donald Trump won the election. They started working on what amounted to an attempted coup within a few weeks of the election. Since the installation of the most Incompetent President* in history, things have gotten worse.

From the president down, the Biden administration has presented Trump and MAGA as an existential threat to American democracy and talked up the risk of domestic terrorism and violence associated with the 2024 election campaign.

“Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat to the very soul of this country,” President Biden tweeted last September, the first time that he explicitly singled out the former president. “MAGA Republicans aim to question not only the legitimacy of past elections but elections being held now and into the future,” Biden said.

Biden and the Democrats are trying to turn MAGA into an insult and failing to understand what the acronym means. It stands for “Make America Great Again,” and is aimed at everyone. What the Bidencrats have been doing is trashing everything great about the United States since 12:02PM EST January 20^th 2021. Meanwhile, Garland and the rest in the DoJ and DHS have been ramping up the accusations, accusing Trump supporters of pretty much everything.

For Attorney General Merrick Garland: “Attacks by domestic terrorists are attacks on all of us collectively, aimed at rending the fabric of our democratic society and driving us apart.”

Here’s the thing. There haven’t been any attacks outside of verbal. There have been no bombings, no riots, no looting and the protests have been peaceful, at least on the so called conservative side, excepting January 6^th.

On the Democrat side of the fence? Not so much. Looting, arson, assaults and murder have become their standard operating procedures and the DoJ won’t do squat about it. They would rather throw people in jail for praying a block or two away from an Abortion clinic.

One of the things the DoJ and FBI have been using as an excuse for their activities was the January 6^th Protests. They have been going after people who, in some cases, just happened to be in the area and nothing more. While there were a few bad apples, most of the rot was on the side of the FBI. They still won’t admit how may undercover agents there were and just what it was they were doing. (There are credible reports that they were actually egging things on)

The Newsweek article goes into a lot of detail, far to much for me to really summarize. It’s a long read, however I do recommend going through it. Just understand that while Newsweek does seem to try and maintain a neutral style, they are a left of center organization. You can see that they make no mention of the actions of Antifa or the Black Communist Lives Only Matter groups and the actual terrorism they have, especially Antifa, have been committing.

Instead, you have Newsweek, if not shilling for the Wray FBI and the Garland DoJ, then not really holding their feet to the fire. Instead, you have the maladministration sending out raid teams to attack people posting memes about “The Boogaloo.”

For those who haven’t heard of this, the “Boogaloo” would be the start of the Second American Civil War, something best avoided. The issue is that the FBI is doing everything it can to actually start something. Well boys, if you want a Boogaloo. Allow me to give you a Boogaloo!
