Good day all. It’s no secret that the United States is undergoing what amounts to an invasion of illegal aliens along the southern border. One of the questions serious people are asking is why isn’t Mexico stopping these people from entering their country?
We may now be getting an answer from the El Presidente of Mexico. It looks like he’s actively aiding them. Here are the details from Fox News:
Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador warned on Sunday during an interview with “60 Minutes” that unless the United States complies with Latin America’s requests for aid, the tide of migrants will continue.
In January, Obrador issued a series of demands for what the U.S. must do to stop the flow of migrants to the border, ranging from sending Latin American countries $20 billion in aid a year to granting some level of amnesty to illegal immigrant workers in the U.S.
That is a flat out threat to the security of the United States of America. Under any other president, this would be a prima facie declaration of war. With Biden and the Democrats, it’s more like “Ok, fine. Here’s the money and no you really don’t have to do anything for it.”
“Everybody thinks you have the power in this moment to slow down migration. Do you plan to?” “60 Minutes” corrrespondent Sharyn Alfonsisaid asked Obrador.
“We do, and want to continue doing it. But we do want for the root causes to be attended to, for them to be seriously looked at,” a translator interpreted Obrador’s response from Spanish.
The “Root causes” are simple. The utter corruption of the governments in central and south America. Short of invading and conquering most of South and Central America, and historically the United States isn’t a very good imperial power, there is little we can do.
Alfonsi noted Obrador’s demands for the U.S. to send $20 billion a year to Latin America countries, lift sanctions on Venezuela, end the Cuban embargo and legalize millions of Mexicans that are living in the U.S.
“If they don’t do the things that you’ve said need to be done, then what?,” she asked.
“The flow of migrants will continue,” Obrador responded.
This threat by Obrador should be taken seriously. I haven’t seen any reactions from anyone in Congress. I suspect this is due to not knowing about it. His demand that all the criminal aliens now in the United States should be seen as nothing more then soldiers of the “Reconquista” by Mexico and should be treated as such.
For those who may not know, Reconquista is a movement in Mexico to basically take all the southwestern states and California and make them Mexico again. What Orbrador is saying in a roundabout way, is that if we don’t do what he says, then he’s going to step things up.
There is no question that Obrador is a crook. While I have no actual proof, I won’t be at all surprised that he’s in the pockets of the Cartels. He’s also trying to sue American gun manufacturers for billions, blaming them for the guns the Cartels are getting. (This is a garbage suit but a corrupt Obama judge is letting it proceed)
Without question, none of this would be happening under the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump. Hopefully, he will be restored to the Oval Office after the November election, and then he can tell Obrador to shut up or else. Personally, I hope “Or Else” actually has to be activated.
