Good day all. Polls have shown that a large majority of voters want and support showing identification when pulling a ballot. Many states have implemented voter ID laws where you have to produce a government form of Identification. This is usually a drivers license or state nondriver ID card.
The Progressive Liberal Democrats have come down opposing anything that interferes with their ability to cheat and steal elections. They have been suing cities and states demanding that the courts shut down voter ID laws claiming they are racists and that people who don’t have an ID will not be able to vote.
The usual response to this is “How do you by beer? How do you enter a government building? How do you buy a gun? How do you open a bank account?” Basically proponents ask the anti-voter ID people how you are able to do anything today without some form of identification. They don’t have an answer. Now Kalifornistan has come up with their way of dealing with the problem. They want to pass a law banning voter ID. Here are the details from The Center Square:
The California legislature passed a bill banning local governments from adopting voter identification laws for local elections. California does not require identification to vote, but earlier this year, the City of Huntington Beach approved a voter ID requirement for municipal elections starting in 2026. This bill would override Huntington Beach’s policy.
“An overwhelming body of evidence proves that voter ID laws only subvert voter turnout and create barriers to law abiding voters,” wrote bill author State Sen. Dave Min, D-Irvine. “To register to vote in California, voters are already required to provide their driver’s license number, California identification number, or the last four digits of their social security number.”
State Senator Dave Min is a liar. There is no credible evidence that having to show an ID will suppress voters. What it does suppress is illegal voting. As to the state requirements to register to vote? Kalifornistan issues drivers licenses to illegal aliens. Kalifornistan also does “Motor Voter” registrations. You can sign up to vote when you get your license. (New or renewed) There have been a lot of problems with this. There have been noncitizens who were registered to vote, many without realizing it.
State Assemblymember Bill Essayli, R-Corona, introduced a failed amendment to the bill, SB 1174, that would have explicitly banned undocumented immigrants from voting.
Undocumented immigrants are able to secure California identification numbers, and noncitizens are allowed to vote in local school board elections in San Francisco. Huntington Beach’s neighboring City of Santa Ana is considering following San Francisco’s lead; a November ballot measure would allow noncitizens to vote in all, not just school board, municipal elections in the city.
I hate to say it, but we may need a constitutional amendment that limits the ability to vote in any election to United States Citizens. If legal resident aliens want to vote, the answer is simple. Pass the requirements and the test, take the oath and become Americans. With the lack of voter ID, allowing noncitizens to vote and with Kalifornistan putting Illegal Aliens over American citizens, you can see why the state is rapidly descending into Third World status.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta sued Huntington Beach for its ordinance, claiming it violates state and federal law because most elections involve voting for municipal, state, and federal office at the same time. Bonta also argued the ordinance’s requirement that ballot drop boxes be monitored by video could dissuade voting.
Monitoring drop boxes, (And I am utterly opposed to those. There is no chain of custody), does not dissuade voting. It does dissuade ballot box stuffing. If you think this doesn’t happen, there is plenty of documented evidence, (And I believe a few court cases), that this does happen. However, Bonta is a standard Kalifornistan Democrat Attorney General. Basically, he is an anti-American, anti-constitutional totalitarian thug. He’s first priority is protecting the power of the Democrat party.
Huntington Beach argues that the fact legislators introduced SB 1174 suggests that was, in fact, permissible for its voters to approve such an ordinance. As a charter city with greater rights under the state constitution, the city is likely to pursue legal options to defend its ordinance against the law, if it is signed by the governor.
That is a problem for the Democrats. It does look like they passed this bill for the sole reason to block any attempts by cities to secure the vote. The Democrats know that in an honest election, their chances of winning drop significantly. Since the Democrats believe that they should be the ones to rule the United States, (And I chose that word, “Rule” intentionally), anything that might interfere with this must be stopped and by any means necessary. Now the question is, will Govno Gavin Hair Gel Newsom sign this into law? I think the simple answer is, “Oh Hell Yes!”
Kalifornistan is the first American failed State and allowing noncitizens to vote is one of the reasons why. I don’t know if a federal law could be passed that meets constitutional muster, (Elections are a state matter), but it should be looked into. Stripping Kalifornistan of it’s statehood and making them a territory again, with all that implies, might be another thing to look into. That or breaking up the state.
