Good day all. No one can claim that Representative-elect Alexandria Occluded-Cortex doesn’t aim high. She expects to be named to the House Ways and Means committee.
For those of you who may not know, that is the committee that writes the bills for taxation laws. Occluded-Cortex, who has demonstrated just how mathematically challenged she is, has announced her desire to be one of the people who write the new tax laws. Here are the amusing details from Fox News:
Congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has not yet been sworn into Congress, but she’s already eyeing a seat at one of the most powerful House committees in charge of taxation laws.
The Democratic Socialist’s Communist’s spokesperson confirmed to Vice News that she will seek a seat on the House Ways and Means committee, which is traditionally packed with seasoned legislators with experience in writing tax code. Rep. Joe Crawley, the top Democrat who was unseated by Ocasio-Cortez this year, was among the members of the committee. She is eyeing the exact same seat that is customarily reserved for New York City.
So, she wants the seat because it’s the property of New York? Does the phrase “I don’t think so Tim” make sense? I don’t see them letting a complete rookie, not to mention a totally clueless moron anywhere near that committee, with the possible exception of the seats the audience seats in.
The effort to get on the committee indicates the progressive Democrats’ growing ambition to bring forward actual progressive bills to the vote, as the committee is instrumental in making that happen.
Oh they really want to make America Venezuela North, don’t they? Occluded-Cortex has already shown she doesn’t have a clue how the economy works and she thinks she should be writing tax law? I wonder has she’s stopped stealing tips from her coworkers yet?
Ocasio-Cortez, together with other freshmen Democrats, has been pushing for grand policies, including Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. Both measures would need to go through the committee before it could be subjected to a vote.
There’s just a few small problems with their cunning plans. The grownups aren’t about to let these morons push the country into a full blown civil war.
But the Democratic leadership may not be so quick to embrace the rising star of the party and instead opt out for a centrist Democrat who would utilize the membership of the committee better.
In other words, not someone so stupid that they think that Venezuela is the future for America.
Rep. Tom Suozzi, who represents New York’s 3rd district, is also eyeing for the seat, the Intercept reported. He’s deemed a more conservative Democrat, who doesn’t share the hostility of corporations with the progressive wing of the party.
And he will probably get it.
“I’m very progressive on a lot of different issues, in support of the Green New Deal, immigration, both those issues, as well as on issues related to poverty,” he told the outlet. “Am I fiscally conservative? Yes, I’m fiscally conservative.”
In other words he isn’t fiscally conservative. He’s more of the crony capitalist sort. He supports and will direct taxpayer funds to those companies that will take care of him. Got it.
Suozzi is a member of the Problem Solvers Caucus that threatened to derail Pelosi’s speakership bid if she doesn’t give in to their demands, while Ocasio-Cortez supported Pelosi. The group ultimately supported Pelosi but only after she agreed to legislative rule changes that will give priority to bipartisan measures, while limiting the influence of the far-right and far-left in Congress.
We all know what the definition of “Bipartisanship” is for the CommuNazi party. The CommuNazis propose something outrageous, the GOP(e) Rinos whine about it and then accept it. Honestly, I say give the seat to Alexandria Occluded-Cortex and let her propose tax laws that reflect her ideas. She has already shown that she is perfectly willing to abuse her authority, even before being sworn in. Just wait until she starts pushing her agenda of nationalization and totalitarianism.
I’m not to worried about anything this idiot proposes. It will never make out out of the house, and if the Democrats are as suicidally stupid as Occluded-Cortex, anything they send to the Senate will be laughed out of committee. All she is going to do is show just how ignorant over privileged she actually is. The 2020 elections will be a complete rout for the CommuNazis and this blivit-head may and up being a one term wonder.
