Good day all. With Kalifornistan’s Party Secretary, Gavin Newsom and other members of the Supreme Soviet continuing to murder the state economy, many people have said “ENOUGH!!” One of these was Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla Motors.
Now I have almost no respect for Elon Musk, I consider him to be a blowhard and a con artist. However, he has a huge cult of followers who buy his battery powered toy cars. However, like everyone else, he hasn’t been able to build and sell his cars thanks to the panicdemic raging through the body politic. He’s finally had enough and is getting ready to do something about it. Here are some of the details from Fox Business:
Tesla CEO Elon Musk publicly threatened to sue a California county Saturday and move the electric-car maker’s headquarters elsewhere after health officials said the company’s factory couldn’t reopen yet due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Erica Pan, the Alameda County health officer, said on Friday that Tesla was working with the county, but the company had not yet been cleared to reopen the Fremont facility, even after California Gov. Gavin Newsom said on Thursday that manufacturers would be allowed to resume operations, Reuters reported.
Yeah, that would enrage me as well. Here we have some jumped up Stalin wannabe, who has probably never had a job in the dreaded private sector, telling a manufacturer that he will not be allowed to reopen and bring his workers back in to earn a living.
“Frankly, this is the final straw,” Musk wrote on the social media platform on Saturday. “Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately. If we even retain Fremont manufacturing activity at all, it will be dependent on how Tesla is treated in the future.”
Musk went on to call the local health official “ignorant” in a separate tweet, and encouraged Tesla shareholders to file a class-action lawsuit in another.
Considering the number of lawsuits over this fiasco, he’s going to need to wait a while. However, moving the plant out of the state to someplace like Texas will definitely hit the State right in the wallet. (It would also save Tesla a ton of money as well, not to mention the idiotic regulatory environment in the failing state of Kalifornistan)
However, the political elite that is currently grinding Kalifornistan into the dirt doesn’t seem to care that Musk may move Tesla out, along with all those fairly well paying jobs and the tax revenue that generates. In a follow up story, some moonbat party hack basically told Musk to have carnel relations with himself. Here are those details from Fox News:
A California Democrat seemed less than upset Saturday night at the news that entrepreneur Elon Musk planned to pull much of his company Tesla – along with an unspecified number of jobs — out of the state over coronavirus shutdown rules that have stalled the automaker’s operations.
Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez of San Diego appeared to be saying something along the lines of “Good riddance” – except she didn’t exactly use those words.
“F— Elon Musk,” was Gonzalez’s brief response on Twitter.
This communist, and she is a communist even if she won’t admit it, was the prime mover on Assembly Bill 5, which had the effect of ending the ability of people to work as contractors in the failing state of Kalifornistan. She pushed this through on orders of her paymasters in the Unions. When she’s been confronted by people who lost their income, she was anything but sympathetic.
Looking at this stuttering thundercunt’s Wikipedia page, it’s easy to see why she has no concern about the private sector. She’s never held a job outside of government in her life. As far as she’s concerned, she’s fat and happy and getting what she thinks she deserves. As for the sheeple? Sucks to be them.
Her message contrasted sharply with those from lawmakers and candidates in Texas and Nevada, where Musk said his company plans to relocate. They seemed pleased with the news that jobs would be coming to their states instead of leaving.
“Texas gets better every day,” U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, wrote on Twitter, retweeting Musk’s announcement of Tesla’s planned California pullout. “Good conservative principles make good governance, and attract the best and the brightest. The future is happening in Texas.”
The only problem with moving to Texas is that the people coming with Tesla are the same morons who elected the vermin that have ruined the state of Kalifornistan.
In its lawsuit, filed Saturday, Tesla referred to the actions of Alameda County as a “power grab.
“Alameda County’s power grab not only defies the governor’s orders, but offends the federal and California constitution,” the suit claims, according to the Mercury News of San Jose.
I wonder how many of these tyrants Musk donated money to? My guess, all of them. Frankly, if this clown did help the tyrants into office, he’s getting just what he deserves. On the other hand, as more and more people and business leave the state, the Kalifornistan revenue sources dry up. After a while, all those little programs and gold plated pensions run out of other people’s money. Musk can move his company, however I recommend he leave the Progressives to rot in the cesspool that they created.
***UPDATE***
It seems that Elon Musk has reopened his manufacturing plant and they are ramping back up now. According to a Fox News story that came out last night:
Tesla’s Fremont, Calif., factory was “up and running” again on Monday, two days after Elon Musk sued the county where it’s located and threatened to move the company’s headquarters out of the state due to shelter-in-place rules preventing it from restarting production.
Musk tweeted: “Tesla is restarting production today against Alameda County rules. I will be on the line with everyone else. If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me.” He also wrote, “California approved, but an unelected county official illegally overrode. Also, all other auto companies in US are approved to resume. Only Tesla has been singled out. This is super messed up!”
Personally, I still think Tesla’s are overpriced toys, but if people want to buy them they can. We’re seeing more and more businesses opening up in defiance of the Deep State political class. It’s about time for a little rebellion.
