Good day all. About a week ago, terrorists overran a police precinct in Seattle and announced that they were a separate nation. This group of socialist ninja wannabes named their new nation CHAZ. (Or is it CHOP? No one is sure) Recently, they listed their “Demands” for their idea of a Utopian society.
The list, and there appears to be several, are typical of the Social Justice Warriors. It has absolutely no basis in reality. Here is one list from Legal Insurrection:
1. The Seattle Police Department and attached court system are beyond reform. We do not request reform, we demand abolition. We demand that the Seattle Council and the Mayor defund and abolish the Seattle Police Department and the attached Criminal Justice Apparatus. This means 100% of funding, including existing pensions for Seattle Police. At an equal level of priority we also demand that the city disallow the operations of ICE in the city of Seattle.
A few things with this one. First, if there are no police, then criminals have no reason to be cautious. On the other hand, no police means that there will be no enforcement of any laws in effect in Seattle, including armed vigilantes shooting criminals. As for banning the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents from operating in the city? Yeah, good luck with that one. The city has no authority over federal agents. They will come in and they won’t tolerate idiots like you. Next!
2. In the transitionary period between now and the dismantlement of the Seattle Police Department, we demand that the use of armed force be banned entirely. No guns, no batons, no riot shields, no chemical weapons, especially against those exercising their First Amendment right as Americans to protest.
Well, if you want the cops gone, not allowing them to defend themselves will do it. You will have mass resignations. Of course, since there are no police left, there is no reason that these same former police officers might not decide to go the vigilante route and hunt your commie asses down. Next!
7. We demand a retrial of all People in Color currently serving a prison sentence for violent crime, by a jury of their peers in their community.
Excuse me? You aren’t talking about things like drug crimes or other non-violent actions that we might discuss? You want to release anyone who is not white who was convicted of a violent crime such as assault, rape and murder? Yeah, let’s do that and see what happens. 13. We demand the abolition of imprisonment, generally speaking, but especially the abolition of both youth prisons and privately-owned, for-profit prisons.
So you are supporting executions for criminals? I can get on board for that. Oh wait, that wasn’t what you had in mind? You just want to let these murderous thugs go so they can continue raping and murdering? Yeah, I don’t think so Tim. Next!
We also have economic demands that must be addressed.
Of course you do. It certainly isn’t like you have ever worked a day in your lazy lives after all.
3. We demand free college for the people of the state of Washington, due to the overwhelming effect that education has on economic success, and the correlated overwhelming impact of poverty on people of color, as a form of reparations for the treatment of Black people in this state and country.
Reparations for what might I ask? Slavery? Well if there are any former slaves, I might be persuaded to agree. Of course, slavery was outlawed in the 1860’s and all the slaves were freed by the Republicans, led by President Abraham Lincoln. I think the last former slave dies about 70 years ago? Oh, this isn’t what you have in mind? You just want to hand out worthless diplomas to people with darker skin then mine? How about Asians? Don’t they count either? Why that sounds rather racist to me. Also, who is going to pay for all this?
Related to economic demands, we also have demands pertaining to what we would formally call “Health and Human Services.”
1. We demand the hospitals and care facilities of Seattle employ black doctors and nurses specifically to help care for black patients.
Wow, that IS a racist demand. Sort of sounds rather segregationist to me. I may be incorrectly remembering my history classes, back when they actually taught history, but I seem to recall that this was actually in effect in the old Confederate states. Black people were turned away from Whites only hospitals and to bad if they died.
So there you have it. The Socialists in Seattle that have taken over a portion of the city have laid out their demands and as is always the case for Progressives, Liberals and Democrats, it’s something right out of the old Confederacy. They are treating Americans of recent African descent as to stupid to achieve anything on their own and only white liberals can help them. Do you think we will see this reported on CNN?
