Twitter doubling down on Stupid

Good day all. Once again, Twitter has ordered the New York Post to delete any and all posts dealing with the Biden Crime Family or else. They have announced they will not unlock their twitter account until this is done. As of the writing of this post, the New York Post has basically told Twitter to go pound sand.

The Biden scandal is taking on a life of it’s own of course, as more and more information comes out, either through new stories published by the NY Post or follow up stories dealing with the apparent cover-up by the FBI of the potential criminal activities of both Hoovernose and Dementia Joe. The other big, and growing exponentially, story is how the big socialist media platforms, Twitter and Facebook, continue to try and suppress the stories and protect the senile pedophile, Dementia Joe Biden. Here are the details of their latest debacle from Fox Business News:

Twitter has refused to unlock the New York Post’s account since Wednesday unless the outlet deletes six tweets about its reporting on 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden‘s son, Hunter Biden, the Post reported.

Both the San Francisco-based social media platform and Facebook came under fire this week after the two blocked users from sharing a Post article showing purported communication between 2020 Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and an adviser to a Ukrainian energy company.

Both Twitter and Facebook have not only continued digging even deeper the holes they now find themselves in, they are asking for bigger shovels.

Twitter confirmed to FOX Business that the Post “has been informed what is necessary to unlock their account.”

Basically it’s “Submit to our censorship or else.” The problem with that idea is that now the various government agencies and the Congress are taking what is a very unhealthy, for the investors in the two companies, look at revoking their Section 230 immunity under the Communications Decency Act of 1996. Both Twitter and Facebook have been trying to have it both ways. Purging legal content they don’t like, acting as publishers, and also claiming neutrality under Section 230, as a “Billboard” so to speak. (Only removing what is patently illegal, such as kiddie porn)

The company previously said the Post’s Hunter Biden stories violate the website’s Hacked Media Policy against displaying “hacked” information — an allegation that the Post called “baseless.”

Which it is. The New York Post article, unlike most of the stories going after President Trump, is fully sourced, and everyone involved in providing the information is named and on the record. As for the hacking business? The hardware and data in question became the property of the business owner when Hoovernose Biden didn’t come back to pick it up. It’s all spelled out in the signed work order. This doesn’t phase Twitter one bit.

Twitter updated that policy on Friday, saying it will start labeling content that violates its rules rather than remove it altogether, “unless it is directly shared by hackers or those acting in concert with them.”

“While we’ve updated the policy, we don’t change enforcement retroactively. You will still need to delete the Tweets to regain access to your account,” Twitter wrote in a statement to the Post.

I think it’s now time for the New York Post, the business owner who found the data, perhaps Rudy Giuliani, and anyone else affected by Twitter’s censorship file a massive libel suit against them. I’m not a lawyer, (Thank the Supreme Being(s)), but I think there might be grounds here.

As for the investors, I think it’s time for them to get involved. The actions by Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg have opened them up to a massive fiduciary hit. If Twitter and Facebook both lose their Section 230 protections, either through government action or through the courts, they could be hit with massive judgments and forced into bankruptcy. It’s still early yet, but it will be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next few months. (Which is why I think this ended up under Fox Business instead of the main Fox News site)
