Good day all. The United States is now in the hands of a genuine tyrant. Dementia Joe has once again broken out Obama’s refurbished Pen & Phone to revoke the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution of the United States. This afternoon, the Fake President began the process of ending the private ownership of firearms.
The Fake President, and now tyrant, stated that he was going to do an “End Run” around the Congress. The reason is simple. He knows that the American People have decided that the 2nd Amendment means what it says, that “We, The People,” have the right to keep and bear arms. Here are the details from Fox News:
President Biden on Thursday announced a set of executive actions and legislative proposals on gun control, saying that gun violence is “a public health crisis” and the administration’s actions do not contravene Second Amendment rights.
Oh it most certainly does, but then Dementia Joe has never been one to care anything about the Constitution of the United States.
The administration aims to “confront not just the gun crisis but what is actually a public health crisis,” Biden said in his remarks in the Rose Garden. He was joined by Vice President Harris.
“Nothing I’m about to recommend in any way impinges on the Second Amendment,” Biden said. “These are phony arguments suggesting that these are Second Amendment rights at stake from what we’re talking about.”
Dementia Joe then doubles down on his epic stupidity.
Continuing, Biden said: “But no amendment to the Constitution is absolute … From the very beginning, you couldn’t own any weapon you wanted to own. From the very beginning the Second Amendment existed, certain people weren’t allowed to have weapons. So the idea is just bizarre to suggest that some of the things we’re recommending are contrary to the Constitution.”
That remark right there is all you need to know that this imbecile has to be removed from offices ASAP. He is making millions of Americans felons. He might want to review what recently happened with regards to one of President Trump’s few mistakes, the ban on bump stocks. The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals recently ruled against the BATFE.
An administration official detailed the actions to reporters on Wednesday. Among them, Biden is asking the Justice Department (DOJ) to propose within a month a rule to stop “ghost guns,” which are “kits” people can buy legally to assemble a functioning firearm that does not have a serial number.
Good luck with that. Anyone with a modicum of knowledge, skills and some tools can make a gun. There are guns being smuggled into the United States that are hand made in places like the Philippines that have fake serial numbers and are actually better made then the factory versions. These are the ones that criminals get, they don’t build their own.
Biden is also asking the DOJ to propose within 60 days a rule on braces used for handguns, which make them more accurate; to propose action on “community violence intervention”; to publish suggestions for “red flag” legislation; and is asking his administration to issue a report on gun trafficking.
And there goes most of the Bill of Rights. The Red Flag laws are currently undergoing court challenges. They violate the 2nd, 4th, 5th and I believe the 6th Amendment of the Constitution. As for the wrist brace, I have used a firearm with one and all it does is what it says. It allows you to handle a pistol if you have a problem with your arm.
Biden also formally announced David Chipman as the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
I read a few things about this goon earlier today, (March 8th). I haven’t had a chance to really dig into it, but what I read tells me this guy is all set to do repeats of the Waco, Texas fiasco. He despises the 2nd Amendment and doesn’t believe people have the right to keep and bear arms. In other words, he is just what the Democratic CommuNazis are looking for in a police state thug.
A senior administration official Wednesday said that Chipman will respect the Second Amendment while he enforces gun laws.
He also pushed for two gun control laws that would go even further than that.
“We should also ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines in this country,” Biden said. He said “there’s no reason” a person would need a weapon that can hold “100 rounds.”
The last time I saw a 100 round magazine, it was a drum that went onto a submachinegun and weighed as much as a Buick. Obviously, this senile idiot is thinking, if whatever goes on in that mush filled skull of his can be considered “thinking,” about standard magazines. Showing his, and no doubt, his handlers, that they know nothing, many magazines today are made of plastic. They can be run off in large numbers using 3D printers. I guess the fool intends to ban 3D printers and the templates that are easily available on the internet. The next thing this corrupt idiot announced was making it easier to sue gun makers.
“We should also eliminate gun manufacturers from the immunity they receive from the Congress,” Biden said, referring to the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA), a law that prevents gunmakers from being sued for crimes committed with guns they sell legally.
“This is the only outfit that is exempt from being sued,” he continued. “If I get one thing on my list… give me that one because I tell you what there would be a come to the Lord moment these folks would have real quickly.”
First, the goal here would be to make it impossible for people to buy guns because no one would make them. Of course, the down side to that is that there would be no one to make guns for the federal storm troopers the Fake President and the CommuNazis want to send out to crash doors and confiscate guns, not to mention the round ups of those “Undesirables” who think they have rights. Then you might consider the military. They won’t be able to replace their weapons, you know, the fully automatic ones.
The PLCAA was passed and put into law for the precise reason that corrupt lawyers, looking for a payday went after manufactures because they couldn’t afford to put on a defense. Consider what else would happen. Car manufacturers could be sued for producing a car that someone used to run down people. Distilleries and breweries would be sued for making adult beverages. The list is endless, and crooked lawyers are already salivating.
Some of Biden’s claims during the press conference are regularly disputed by Republicans, including that gun manufacturers can’t be sued and that background checks aren’t required at gun shows.
What, he lied again? I’m shocked, SHOCKED that Dementia Joe would lie.
Indeed, the PLCAA only protects against suits for “harm solely caused by the criminal or unlawful misuse of firearm products or ammunition products.” This does not count, for example, if a gun is defective or if a gun was knowingly given to a person who is banned from possessing one.
If the gun malfunctions due to a defect, then the company can be sued and this has happened. Just like cars, guns do get recalled. The last one I am aware of was the new Sig Sauer P320. This pistol has an interesting trigger and in a few cases, could go off if dropped. Sig offered replacement trigger groups. No one has been injured, and there are some who questioned the need, but Sig Sauer decided to just “Bite the bullet” and recall the guns for retrofits.
Republicans, meanwhile, have expressed their suspicion of Biden’s agenda which goes even further than what he announced Thursday.
“By appointing the anti-gun Merrick Garland as attorney general and nominating David Chipman — formerly a senior staffer at the leading gun control lobby — to head ATF, Biden has made clear his sights are set on restricting the rights of law-abiding gun owners while ignoring criminals and foregoing substantive measures that will actually keep Americans safe,” the National Rifle Association (NRA) said in a statement.
“Further, the proposals Biden announced tonight could require law-abiding citizens to surrender lawful property and enable states to expand gun confiscation orders. The NRA will fight this nomination and ill-conceived executive actions,” the NRA also said.
Consider that sales of guns are climbing every month, and that ammunition is hard to get and the prices have increased significantly. People are buying everything they can, and it isn’t prior owners doing all the buying, it’s brand new, first time buyers. Why are sales going through the roof? One of the reasons is what this senile fool is planning on doing.
Another reason is that crime is going through the roof, the “Defund the police” movement, the invasion currently underway on the southern borders, and of course the terrorists from Antifa and the BLCOM groups. People don’t feel safe now, and since the Great Election Theft of 2020, they know that when seconds count, the police won’t be coming.
Without a doubt, court challenges to the Fake President’s orders will be filed, probably within days. With other challenges to other gun control laws also moving through the system, and with the current makeup of the court, I suspect the orders will be invalidated, and potentially, a new ruling reinforcing the 2nd Amendment may be handed down. The alternative is not something I want to consider. I really, really don’t want to see what this senile idiots orders could bring.
