Twitler declares access to them is a human right, Conservatives laugh at them

Good day all. Over the last year we have seen just how bad Big Tech has become, and a true threat to the American way of life. They banned the President of the United States because he said things they didn’t like, yet continue to allow real terrorists on their platforms.

Recently, the government of Nigeria banned Twitler from their country after they deleted a tweet posted by their President. This caused the moonbats at Twitler to announce that access to them was a Human Right. They said this as they have moved to silence anyone who doesn’t toe their line. Here are the details from Fox News:

Twitter declared a free and open Internet to be “an essential human right in modern society” Saturday morning after the Nigerian government banned access to the social media giant following a dispute with its president – even as critics say it suppresses conservative content and bans its own users.

Twitter deleted a fiery tweet from President Muhammadu Buhari that many perceived as a veiled threat against violent separatists in the nation’s southeast – then his government’s information wing responded by banning the social media platform from the country.

“The Federal Government has suspended, indefinitely, the operations of the microblogging and social networking service, Twitter, in Nigeria,” the country’s Federal Ministry of Information and Culture tweeted Friday night.

Like most Americans, I know little to nothing about what is happening in Nigeria, and frankly could not care less. What I find amusing is the flat out arrogance of Twitler, not to mention the hypocrisy and double standards with their statement.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, also announced that the government would begin licensing social media platforms and “OTT,” or over-the-top, operations, which offer content directly to viewers via the internet.

While I may not agree with “Licensing” of socialist media platforms, Nigeria is an independent country and can do as they please. As for Twitler? It sucks to be you.

“We are deeply concerned by the blocking of Twitter in Nigeria,” Twitter’s Public Policy division tweeted in response. “Access to the free and #OpenInternet is an essential human right in modern society. We will work to restore access for all those in Nigeria who rely on Twitter to communicate and connect with the world. #KeepitOn.”

Needless to say, the conservatives that Twitler and the others have been targeting let fly at the idiots.

The declaration immediately drew responses from Twitter users who noted that the social media giant’s own policies allow for suspending and banning users – including former President Donald Trump.

“Access to the free & #OpenInternet is an essential human right in modern society… unless you’re Donald Trump. Or reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop. Or discussing the biology of gender. Or the murderous dictator of Iran. Or a Chinese Communist Party peon lying about COVID,” conservative author Liz Wheeler wrote in response to Twitter’s tweet.

Another user tweeted the meme of a comic book hero sweating over which button to choose – “Access to Twitter is a human right,” or “Ban these accounts for saying things I don’t like.”

The flames tossed at Twitler continued of course. Twitler, Faceplant, Goolag and other Socialist Media platforms have grown used to getting their own way, and when they pull something like this, it only highlights just how contemptible and borderline treasonous.

Twitter has banned organizations like the New York Post, because they published stories showing that Dementia Joe and his son, Hoovernose Cokehead Biden basically sold access to Dementia Joe when he was vice president. Twitler was hammered over that, especially since it’s come out that if people knew what those two had done, they would not have voted for that idiot. (One reason people are wondering if this can’t be construed as a campaign contribution)

Twitter also restricted the New York Post’s account over a story about Hunter Biden just days before the 2020 presidential election, then backtracked after the story checked out.

And yet FOX Business reported last month that a network of pro-Iran Twitter accounts got numerous anti-Semitic hashtags trending as violence between Israel and Hamas broke out at its highest levels since 2014.

The reason they didn’t shut down the Iranians is simple really. First, they agree with them that Israel must be destroyed and all the Jews slaughtered, and of course, Iran will send terrorists into Twitler’s offices to kill everyone if they don’t bow down to them.

Now, what was the tweet that started all this? Basically it was a threat by the government to go after people who have been attacking government facilities and personnel.

Buhari’s deleted tweet came in response to arson attacks on government offices and police stations and appeared to threaten ethnic Igbo militants believed to be behind them.

“Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War,” he wrote in the now-deleted tweet. “Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”

The Nigerian president was a military officer in the fight against Igbo separatists who wanted to establish an independent Biafra nation in the country’s bloody civil war. More than 1 million people died in the conflict between 1967 and 1970.

Well, making that comment is quite understandable. He doesn’t want to see a rehash of the last civil war. He’s letting them know that he is ready to deal with this by basically killing them. Now if they were to stop their attacks and move to other means, then his goal is achieved and no violence will happen.

Twitter rules prohibit tweets promoting or threatening violence.

Unless it’s Islamic threats against Israel, Christians, America, or anyone who isn’t a Muslim. Right. It’s stupidity like this that is making a lot of people on both sides of the aisle in Washington think it’s time to crush Big Tech like a cockroach under a shoe.

Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

And this is a surprise? They got caught with their wedding tackle in a vice. Now people are starting to turn the handles and tighten that vice. Big Tech, and to some extent, Corporate America think that America is finished and that it’s time to look at China and other hostile nations. However, they keep overplaying their hand and angering all those Deplorable MAGA people. Eventually, it’s all going to come to a head and Big Tech will be hit by a DoJ EMP.
