Good day all. Well, we knew it was going to happen sooner or later, and it has. President Bumbles Dementia now has the chance to appoint a new justice to the United Supreme Court. Justice Stephen Breyer has announced he is stepping down.
This is a breaking story of course, but it begs the question, who will Dementia Joe’s handlers tell him to appoint, and will he or she be even dumber than the “Wise Latina” Sonia Sotomayor? Here are a few details from Fox News:
Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer is retiring, Fox News confirmed, setting President Biden up with the first opportunity to fill a vacancy on the high court.
A source close to Breyer told Fox News that the justice will step down at the end of the current Supreme Court term early this summer.
Breyer is 83 years old and has been receiving a tremendous amount of pressure from the Progressives to retire. They want to replace him with someone who will, basically, rubber stamp all the progressive plans, regardless of their constitutionality. Currently, there is a 50-50 split in the United States Senate, with the Vice President, Heels Up Harris acting as the tie breaker. I believe that, thanks to the terminally dead Dingy Harry Reid, the filibuster isn’t available to hold up a vote on the nominee.
Considering the current makeup of the Senate, I think it’s safe to assume that a flat out Communist will be nominated. Then the fun begins. We’re already seeing the “Identity Politicians” announcing what they want to see as the next justice. Interestingly, things like scholarship, judgment, and qualifications seem to be missing.
During his campaign, Biden promised that he would nominate a Black woman to the Supreme Court. One potential option is D.C. Circuit Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson – a progressive favorite who Biden nominated last year. Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., was among the first voices after the news that Breyer is stepping down to call for a Black woman to be his replacement.
“In the wake of Justice Breyer’s retirement, I want to voice my support for President Biden in his pledge to nominate the first Black woman to the Supreme Court. The Court should reflect the diversity of our country, and it is unacceptable that we have never in our nation’s history had a Black woman sit on the Supreme Court of the United States,” she said.
How typical of the Progressive Liberal Democratic Communazis. As usual, they can’t see past the melanin content or which chromosome the nominee has. I find it interesting that it’s the Republicans who look at qualifications and not skin color or gender. In other words, the Democrats only consider Skin Color and Gender and the Republicans only consider actual qualifications. This is going to be an interesting confirmation hearing.
Republican activists, meanwhile, already appear to be gearing up to oppose Biden’s eventual pick.
“The Left bullied Justice Breyer into retirement and now it will demand a justice who rubber stamps its liberal political agenda,” Judicial Crisis Network President Carrie Severino tweeted. “And that’s what the Democrats will give them, because they’re beholden to the dark money supporters who helped elect them.”
That goes without saying of course. However, the Bumbles Dementia maladministration’s track record on successful confirmations of it’s radical nominees has been, thankfully, terrible. We won’t see the histrionics from the GOP that we see when it’s a Republican nominee. We will see some seriously tough questions from the Republicans, and softballs from the Communazis.
As for Breyer, he is a Progressive Liberal and a statist, so his replacement won’t really affect the makeup of the court. (Thank you President Trump!) However, if the Meat Puppet’s handlers put forward someone who is a real flamer, look for this to be a real fight, with a good chance of it being slow walked even if there is no filibuster. It’s entirely possible that the Republicans can “Run out the clock” so to speak and hand this over to the next Senate in 2023. This is what happened in 2016 when Der Fubar tried to replace Justice Antonin Scalia with that corrupt thug, Merrick Heinrich Himmler Garland. (Now installed as Attorney general and showing how close we came to a catastrophe) Stay tuned. Things are going to get interesting in the next few months.
