Good day all. There has been a large argument over how many Americans were left behind in Afghanistan by the disastrous Biden Bug Out. Now a report has been released, and frankly, if the numbers are accurate, Biden needs to be removed and a lot of people need to go to prison.
The report that was released last week by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee estimates that as many as 9000 American citizens were abandoned by the maladministration. Here are the details from the Daily Wire:
As many as 9,000 American citizens were left in Afghanistan when the U.S. military withdrew from the country Aug. 31, according to a report released Thursday by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
9000 American men, women and children were abandoned to the tender mercies of the Taliban? I can see why Biden and the rest of the Maladministration would want to cover this up.
In public statements, Biden administration officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, claimed that only 100-150 Americans remained in Afghanistan and had contacted the U.S. government with a desire to leave. The State Department and Defense Department officials stuck to that number, even as the government publicly admitted that large numbers of American citizens were still leaving the country.
Blinken has proven himself to be both criminally incompetent and liar. In other words, he’s both a typical Democrats and a perfect fit for the Bumbles Dementia maladministration. We know that it was a lot more people then “100-150” who called the State Department? How do we know? They also contacted their senators and representatives for help when the State Department hung up on them.
The report, signed by Foreign Relations ranking member Jim Risch of Idaho, reveals that State Department officials believed that between 10,000 and 15,000 Americans were in Afghanistan as late as Aug. 17. In the next two weeks, only 6,000 Americans were able to escape the country ahead of the Taliban takeover. In testimony in front of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, however, Blinken claimed that “approximately 100-150 remained in Afghanistan who still wished to depart.”
Thanks to the stupefying incompetence of the maladministration, and the flat out cowardice of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Taliban were able to overrun the country. Afghanistan collapsed so fast that people out in the hinterlands had no warning. The first they probably knew there was a problem is when the Taliban showed up and no one at the embassy picked up the phones.
Officials like Blinken and U.S. Central Command leader Marine Corps Gen. Kenneth McKenzie frequently qualified their statements about the number of Americans remaining in-country by saying that they were in contact with smaller numbers who “want to leave.”
Why do am I having flashbacks to the “5 o’clock follies” from the Vietnam War? They also “Qualified their statements, and continued to do so right up until the last helicopter lifted off the embassy roof in Saigon. (And that was another Democrat sell out. They’re really good at selling out people who relied on the United States)
Contributing the failure was the Biden administration’s lack of preparation for the execution of the withdrawal.
National security officials were still working to formulate a withdrawal plan a day before Kabul fell to the Taliban, despite the fact that Biden announced that American forces would withdraw from Afghanistan four months before the collapse of the U.S.-allied government. The National Security Council failed to coordinate withdrawal operations between the State and Defense departments, and rapid troop withdrawals exacerbated the failed evacuation process, according to the report.
They had a basic plan. It was handed to them by President Trump. It started with evacuating all the Americans first, green card holders and all those who aided us. Then it was remove anything of value or destroy it. Finally the troops would leave. They also planned on leaving from Bagram Air Force Base since it had better runways then Kabul Airport and was defensible.
Instead, the idiots in the Pentagon snuck out of the base in the middle of the night. Why did they do this? Because the good plan was Trumps plan and anything that President Trump’s team came up with was to be abandoned because…Trump.
After Kabul fell to the Taliban, the Biden administration was still slow to organize contingency responses for withdrawal. The Transportation Department waited five days to issue an order allowing foreign airlines to deliver evacuees to American airports, and seven days to activate the Civil Reserve Aircraft Fleet (CRAF). The CRAF is a private airline fleet that can aid the U.S. military in a crisis, but “was barely used and did little to impact evacuation operations.”
Gee, who is the Secretary of Transportation? Don’t tell me, I’ll remember. Oh yes, it was Pete Buttplug, who couldn’t be bothered to show up for work. Seems that’s a going “Thing” with him.
Despite these logistical failures, as well as the death of 13 American service members in an ISIS-K terrorist attack, the Biden administration has claimed its withdrawal efforts a success.
“We completed one of the biggest airlifts in history. With more than 120,000 people evacuated to safety, that number is more than double what most experts thought was possible. No nation – no nation has ever done anything like it in all the history,” Biden said in a speech marking the final withdrawal of American forces and embassy officials.
Those people weren’t Americans or American green card holders, In fact, many of them probably should not have been evacuated. The ones who mattered, Americans, Legal Resident Aliens in Afghanistan trying to get their families out, and those who helped us and were now at risk where the ones the maladministration abandoned. It’s been the private sector and individual members of Congress who have been working to rescue people, not the State Department.
“The bottom line: 90% of Americans in Afghanistan who wanted to leave were able to leave,” he added.
Once again, Dementia Joe Biden is lying through his teeth. The man is a pathological liar and utterly incapable of telling the truth about anything. Add to that his obvious dementia and you can see just how bad things are. If the anticipated results of the midterm elections hold true, the Democrats are going to get hammered.
There is already talk of impeaching Joe Biden for his refusal to defend the borders of the United States. They can add abandoning upwards of 9000 American citizens to the list of charges. Whether or not they can muster the votes to convict in the Senate is, of course, another matter, along with the issue of Kamala Heels Up Harris then becoming President. Well, we can’t have everything.
