Good day all. When the first cases of the Fauci Bioweapon, aka Covid-19 appeared, people started looking into what it was and how to treat it. One of the early treatments that showed promise was discovered by a French doctor called Hydroxychloroquine.
Additional information from other doctors using a cocktail of this drug and antibiotics seemed to knock down the virus. Then, the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump remarked on it and that’s when things went south. The Progressives so hate President Trump that anything he suggested might help was automatically wrong and anyone who suggested looking into it was attacked, up to an including bans from Socialist Media and, in some cases, loss of employment.
There were a large number of questions regarding these bans, and why Big Tech was doing this. Even notable researchers with actual credentials were attacked, banned and in a few cases fired or forced to resign, simply for suggesting that the virus might have been genetically altered or that nonstandard uses of certain drugs appeared to have a therapeutic benefit and that this should be researched.
Thanks to Senator Rand Paul and a few other Republican members of Congress, we now know that the Covid-19 virus was, in fact, engineered and was accidentally released from a lab in Wuhan, China. We also know that “Gain of Function” research was ordered and paid for by Anthony Fauci.
The continued digging by Senator Paul and others, both in and out of government has also generated information that is both terrifying and enraging. The Centers for Disease Control was coordinating with Big Tech to shut down any dissent to their bureaucratic control of information on the Panicdemic. Here are the details from the Washington Free Beacon:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention coordinated with social media companies and Google to censor users who expressed skepticism or criticism of COVID-19 vaccines, according to a trove of internal communications obtained by America First Legal and shared exclusively with the Washington Free Beacon.
The one thing that Bureaucrats everywhere loathe and despise is the Freedom Of Information Act. We have seen many federal employees caught using non-governmental systems to get around the archiving systems in place that would provide citizens access to their documents. Felonia von Pantsuit’s private email server is probably the most notorious case.
Over the course of at least six months, starting in December 2020, CDC officials regularly communicated with personnel at Twitter, Facebook, and Google over “vaccine misinformation.” At various times, CDC officials would flag specific posts by users on social media platforms such as Twitter as “example posts.”
In one email to a CDC staffer, a Twitter employee said he is “looking forward to setting up regular chats” with the agency. Other emails show the scheduling of meetings with the CDC over how to best police alleged misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines.
The best way to deal with “misinformation” or bad information is by providing more information and showing why the original information was incorrect. This is NOT what the CDC and Big Tech did. They flat out censored anything that didn’t follow the “Company line.”
Although many of the posts flagged by the CDC contained false information about the COVID-19 vaccines, the efforts to police misinformation also resulted in mistaken acts of censorship. An April 2021 email from a CDC staffer to Facebook states that the “algorithms that Facebook and other social media networks are apparently using to screen out posting by sources of vaccine misinformation are also apparently screening out valid public health messaging, including [Wyoming] Health communications.”
We’ve all seen those flags, and in some cases, things that were posted were removed. This has happened to me, and I wasn’t posting anything that a human would see as misinformation of one sort or another. They were jokes, sarcasm and memes belittling the bureaucratic fools of Fedzilla.
The communications reveal a high level of coordination between the government and tech industry during the pandemic and raise questions about the extent to which other private companies are working with the federal government to censor the public. The Biden administration has faced criticism for engaging in what some have called “Orwellian” practices, such as the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security Disinformation Governance Board. The Free Beacon reported that the now-shuttered disinformation board arranged a meeting with a Twitter executive who blocked users from sharing stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Basically, the federal government conspired with Big Tech to suppress the 1st Amendment, free speech rights of the American people. Facebook, Twitter, Google and others used the excuse that they were “Private companies” and could do this. Well, here’s the thing. Once they started taking direction from the Federal government, that little bit of fiction went right out the window.
The CDC’s effort to police alleged disinformation expanded to other federal agencies as well. An internal March 2021 email from a senior CDC staffer states “we are working on [sic] project with Census to leverage their infrastructure to identify and monitor social media for vaccine misinformation.”
The article in the Washington Free Beacon goes into details on how the CDC was provided with Ad credits by Facebook, and other very worrying details. The CDC’s reputation because of this and other issues concerning the Covid-19 Panicdemic, and it was a panicdemoic, not a pandemic, has been pretty much destroyed.
Anthony Fauci’s own department, the National Institutes of Health, has been so blatant in their arrogance, not to mention that Fauci has flat out lied repeatedly to Congress and the American people, that there is serious discussions in Congress to disband the department and terminate everyone working for it.
Tensions between the CDC’s powers and protecting the public’s civil liberties have arisen since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci called a judge overruling the CDC’s mask mandate “disturbing.”
Fauci has stated that if he had his way, we would all still be locked in our homes and forced to wear masks, and that “Health officials” would be injecting the entire population with the various vaccines, by force if required. Add to this the actions of the CDC, and how they’ve been repeatedly slapped down by the courts. Now, no one believes them any longer.
Concerns about the CDC’s judgment has also led the Democratic-controlled cities of New York and San Francisco to ignore the agency’s guidance on monkeypox vaccinations.
I can’t speak to the monkeypox vaccines. I am aware that it’s based on the old Smallpox vaccines, since the two diseases are related. (Monkeypox is nowhere near as lethal as Smallpox was) However, I flat out don’t know enough about the dosages to comment. The problem here is, the CDC has machingunned themselves in both feet with their actions that they may be permanently damaged.
It may be that the only way to fix the issue is to flat out gut the agency. This means firing everyone in management and frankly most of the staffer as well. Then Congress will need to rewrite the enabling legislation making sure that the reconstituted agency never again assumes powers they do not have.
There also has to be punishment for those in this and other agencies when they lie to congress and the President who rely on their training to make good decisions. It will take years, perhaps a generation for the new agency to regain any credibility, and this can be blamed on the current bureaucrats who put their own personal power and privilege ahead of the needs of the nation.
