Brian “The Potato” Stelter lands a new gig at Harvard

Good day all A few weeks ago CNN’s new management handed Brian Stelter, who is a potato, his walking papers and escorted him from the premises. His show, (Un)Reliable Sources, which was nothing more than a mouthpiece for the Democrat Party, was canceled. Now Mr. Potatohead has managed to land a new gig at Harvard University.

To be more specific, Stelter will be a “Media fellow” at the Kennedy School of (Bad) Government where he will be discussing how to push the progressive talking points. Here are the details from the College Fix:

The Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School has tapped former CNN anchor Brian Stelter as a fall 2022 media fellow.

CNN let go of Stelter, host of the long-running show “Reliable Sources,” last month amid low ratings and an attempt by the network to reduce its liberal-leaning programming and produce more straight news.

Mr. Potatohead was able to stay on the air, as it were, pushing the Progressive line due to the former owners, AT&T being almost as left wing as the on air “talent.” They didn’t mind that CNN’s ratings were cratering and that their revenue was drying up. However, when it was decided to spin off Warner-Discovery into a new and separate company, they stuck them with this money pit called CNN. The new management decided that they would actually like to make money and not set it on fire, and the new head of CNN, Chris Licht has been getting rid of the deadwood. Stelter was one of the first to be shown the door.

The Ivy League university has now allowed Stelter, also a former New York Times reporter, to land on his feet.

As the Walter Shorenstein Fellow, Stelter will convene a series of discussions about threats to democracy and the range of potential responses from the news media,” the university announced Monday.

These discussions with media leaders, policy makers, politicians, and Kennedy School students, fellows, and faculty will help deepen public and scholarly understanding about the current state of the information ecosystem and its impacts on democratic governance.”

The last thing these tools believe in is the American Republican form of Democracy, free speech, and providing as much unbiased information as possible so that people can make informed decisions. Oh, they are also opposed to the average person making any decisions about anything at all.

Stelter is the author of the 2020 book “HOAX: Donald Trump, Fox News, and the Dangerous Distortion of Truth.”

First, I don’t know the book, second, I have no intention of reading it. Stelter and his ilk did everything they could to push the Progressive party line on America and when the Hoi Polloi rejected it, they went after them as well. As to the “Hoax” that the 2020 presidential election was rigged? It probably was, and the information is available regarding all the problems and questions, it’s just that people like Mr. Potatohead are actively working to suppress it.

In 2021, he told Lehigh University students in a speech that journalists’ bias is just pro-democracy.

When you’ve got a propagandist, a demagogue running for president, then becoming president, and taking pretty clear anti-democracy positions, I think the idea was understandable that anchors … talked about democracy, talked about truth, talked about decency,” Stelter said at the time.

Leave it to a potato to come up with that load of manure. The Main Stream Media is all about suppressing the truth, not reporting it. If Mr. Potatohead was an actual reporter, he would have been blasting the story regarding Hunter “Hoovernose” Biden’s laptop and the apparent evidence that Joe “The Big Guy” Biden had sold his office for what anyone else would call bribes and payoffs. Instead, this lying scumbag parroted the party Line that the data on the laptop was Russian disinformation and buried the stories.

Apparently, there is a lawsuit involving a publication of the Kennedy School and the Shorenstein Center for defamation. While I don’t know anything about this suit, other than what I just read, it doesn’t surprise me, since Harvard University actively suppresses conservatives and conservative ideas.

A 2022 survey of faculty at Harvard found that less than two percent are conservative – and most other faculty members are opposed to recruiting more right-leaning academics

And, for the due diligence part of this post, I once applied and interviewed for a position at Harvard. I was rather surprised that I got the interview, but after about 15 minutes I knew I wasn’t going to get the job. Not because I wasn’t qualified, but due to my having the wrong skin color and political outlook. I wouldn’t have lasted long there in any case. However, I’m sure that the potato will fit right in with all the other Progressive vegetables that walk on two legs.
