Good day all. This is a breaking story, so, as usual, the 72 hour rule is in effect. As the Worst President in American History is preparing to hand the Iranians everything they could possibly want, and more, someone in Iran decided that this would be a great time to fire missiles into Iraq, targeting the American consulate.
As I mentioned above, this just happened in the last few hours, so the information we have will probably be wrong. Still, it is news. Here are the details so far from Fox News:
A series of missiles were fired Sunday from Iran in the direction of the U.S. consulate in Erbil, Iraq, a senior U.S. official told Fox News.
The missiles numbered as many as 12, The Associated Press reported. None of the missiles made contact with the consulate, the U.S. official told Fox News.
“There is no damage or casualties at any U.S. Government facility,” a State Department spokesperson told Fox News. “The incident is being investigated by the government of Iraq and the Kurdish Regional Government and we refer you to them for comment. We condemn this outrageous attack and display of violence.”
With typical Iranian marksmanship, they managed to hit the ground and not much else, and no one was hurt. However, since these missiles did come from Iran, and the Iranian government doesn’t allow things like this to occur without their knowledge, people are thinking that the Mad Mullahs of Tehran were trying to make a point…again. However, since this is not what the maladministration wants to admit, they are in full cover-up mode.
A national security official told Fox News there was no indication the missiles were intended for U.S. facilities.
Since Putin invaded the Ukraine, we’ve learned that the Russians were instrumental in “Aiding” President Bumbles Dementia in helping the Iranians get their nuclear weapons program back on track. When people found this out, it put a hold on the Negotiations Biden Cave-in to Iran.
The Iranians have been rather quiet of late, and a large part of that was due to the Greatest President of the 21st Century, Donald Trump, turning the commanding general of the Iranian Quds terrorist force, Qassem Soleimani into barbecued road kill. However, thanks to the tainted election of 2020, we now have the worst president in American History in office, and he is happily fondling children, eating ice cram and screwing everything up by the numbers. I think we can safely assume that Biden will just ignore this, if he even remembers it happening tomorrow morning.
