DHS Censor wants to edit your tweets

Good day all. When the news that the Department of Homeland (In)Security had created the Disinformation Governance Board, people saw it for what it was. Government censorship. The selected head of this board, Nina Jankowicz, is turning out to be a real nutcase. (Raving loon would be a better description)

Recently, a recorded Zoom call showed that she wants to be able to edit tweets. Not her own tweets, but everyone else’s. Here are some of the details from Red State:

Dictator Mary Poppins and head of the “Disinformation Governance Board,” Nina Jankowicz, has proven herself to be something of a nutcase and the more that comes out about her, the worse she looks.

As posted by the Post Millennial, a clip of Jankowicz was released where she spoke about her power as a verified person on Twitter and how she should be able to use that as a way to edit the tweets of the non-verified peasantry.

As you should know, I have a twitter account that I use to announce new posts to all 12 of my followers. (I almost never see retweets), I don’t spend much time on twitter, perhaps a few minutes a week to see if anyone looked at my postings. (In general, nope) I’ve never bothered to “Get verified” for the simple reason that the Angry Webmaster is my Nom de Plume and I don’t meet the criteria to get verified. (I won’t list my actual personal information) I have little doubt that this psychotic moonbat wouldn’t hesitate to “Edit” whatever I put up.

Jancowikz starts off by telling her fellows in a Zoom call she’s in that she’s verified and while others are verified they shouldn’t be, not because they’re not real people, but effectively because they have different opinions than her and are not “trustworthy.”

Oh really. I think it’s a safe bet that this totalitarian twat wouldn’t hesitate to “edit” or remove all of my posts. I’m definitely not someone she would consider “trustworthy.”

She then expresses the idea that verified people like herself should be able to “edit Twitter” in the same way people can edit Wikipedia, and be able to “add context to certain tweets.” She, of course, gives an example that involves Trump.

If President Trump were still on Twitter and tweeted a claim about voter fraud, someone could add context from one of the 60 lawsuits that went through the court or something that an election official in one of the states said,” said Jankowicz. “Perhaps your own secretary of state and his news conferences. Something like that.”

Adding context so that people have a fuller picture rather than just an individual claim on a tweet,” said added.

Well I see that the head of the disinformation board is all set to provide plenty of misinformation. Not one single judge would allow any of those cases to proceed. Not because there wasn’t any evidence, but because they didn’t want to actually do their jobs and enforce the laws. Their usual excuses were “It’s to soon,” or “it’s to late” with their final standby being “You have no standing to file the case.”

Since the election, there have been a number of audits showing real issues, and the release of Dinesh D’Souza’s 2000 Mules is now getting the attention form state law enforcement officials.

Of course, this is just pure narrative manipulation. As Rand Paul previously pointed out, the federal government doesn’t even know what the truth is or what is and isn’t disinformation half the time. Jankowicz, and people like her, being able to swoop in and add their own commentary to a tweet you created would be narrative reinforcement strictly based on her opinion.

In Jankowicz twisted totalitarian mind, her opinion is the only valid one. How she was selected for this position, which is blatantly unconstitutional in any case, is a mystery to me. The good news is that this idea has angered people on both sides of the political aisle, and as more information comes out showing what a complete screwball Jankowicz is, the sooner this bureau is shut down and everyone involved fired. Sadly it might take the Midterm elections and the new congress to zero out the funding for this. If you need a reason to vote out a Democratic Communazi, this is a good one.

***UPDATE***

As usual, things changed fast. It looks like the ministry of censorship is being shut down and Nina Jankowicz has resigned. More on this when I have time to write it up.
